Thanks @Lemonolive09 , how are you feeling? I got exactly the same line again this morning on clear blue so not sure.. was hoping it would have looked darker with fmu. I'm taking my FRER to compare with the other ones later.. think that will be the decider really on whether it's a go-er xx

Lemonolive09 · 03/01/2025 07:58

@Rachae I suppose it's still technically early if it's the day of your missed period, for that test. Are you going to do the FRER today or first wee tomorrow? Was it a pack of two you got?

I haven't tested since 28th, I think I'd have tested again but being ill overrode it. I am 5 weeks today so next checkpoint is 6 weeks xx

Melusina123 · 03/01/2025 08:34

How's everyone doing today?

I'm still feeling mostly fine, very sore boobs and a bit of fatigue. I'm rushing desperately to get a big project done before I expect the nausea to hit in about a week.

Rachae · 03/01/2025 08:35

Hey @Lemonolive09 Possibly yea. So it's a bit gross but I've got my FMU in the fridge 😂.. so I can test when the FRER arrives to compare with the one 2/3 days ago. Amazon says by 10 annoyingly. Are you going to test again or wait for your early scan? Xx

susie1984234 · 03/01/2025 08:37

@Rachae good luck and I think your line from yesterday looked good! My lines have also not been too dark but I've been using easy@Home which are known for bad line progression. But due to previous MC I know it's scary.

I might do another test tomorrow as I haven't tested since last Sunday, although I find it so anxiety inducing 🥺

Rachae · 03/01/2025 08:37

Now the test has dried (line fades but understand this is normal).. it does appear that there's a tiny bit of progression from yesterday afternoons one. But that could be explained from the fact it wasn't my FMU yesterday/ hydration.

I'm with you on the sore boobs and fatigue! Also a bit heartburny in the morning :/

I'm also on Progesterone which is the biggest catfish for pregnancy symptoms as I never known if it's the pregnancy or the progesterone!

First day back to work today after the NY break and it's freeeezing out ❄️❄️❄️

I definitely see progression 💖

MyGardenDaisies · 03/01/2025 08:53

Morning! 🤗

I am 4 weeks today, got an ultrasound at 5+6 that was prebooked as a routine gynaecologist checkup, but not sure I will attend now, as if would be too soon to see the heartbeat potentially. Don’t want to add that anxiety.
so I think we will just do Window To The Womb at 7 weeks.

If you are, when are you booking an early scan?

Rachae · 03/01/2025 09:05

Sorry I missed a few msgs there!
@Melusina123 Im a progesterone veteran and I find with the bad outcome ones, the fatigue isn't there. So that one could be a v real symptom!

@susie1984234 thank you, here's hoping... I'm not convinced tho. Yea the cheapies definitely take longer to progress and I totally understand your anxiety. The first few weeks are the worst aren't they.

@MyGardenDaisies heartbeats don't always show but I've seen 2 in my pregnancies at 5.5 weeks. If I make it this far, that's when I'll start my scans xx

Melusina123 · 03/01/2025 09:37

@Rachae unfortunately I felt pretty identical in my successful pregnancy and the two 8wk MMCs so past a certain point symptoms don't mean very much to me. The two MMCs were basically perfect pregnancies until they weren't - and in my successful pregnancy I had bright red blood 6-8wks and thought it was all over! So I don't get much reassurance from symptoms.

But I do think your line/progression looks good! So fingers crossed.

@susie1984234 haha, progesterone is the worsttttt (but if it helps...)

Lemonolive09 · 03/01/2025 09:42

@Rachae I don't think I'll do any more tests just yet, well that's how I feel today anyway, might change my mind tomorrow lol

That's a good idea to keep your FMU! Not gross 😅 I've had to do that before because I get frequent UTI's and so does my 4yo. It definitely looks like progression now it's dried!

I think I'll try to wait for 7.5 weeks or 8 weeks for my early scan, if I can. 2.5 more weeks! Next week will be busy with little one going back to school and clubs so hopefully it flies by!

I can't really tell on the fatigue front because I'm always tired! But boobs are still bigger and sore.

MyGardenDaisies · 03/01/2025 09:43

Just completed My Pregnancy Notes form to get contacted by a midwife and got so excited ! Proper first step in this pregnancy 🥰 and missed period today!

2U2 · 03/01/2025 12:26

Hello all, I'm tentatively joining, by LMP I'm 3 weeks 6 days. Had three positive tests so far, even at 10DPO they were darker than my last pregnancy.
I also have a baby who's just turned one, so looking to embrace the chaos of two under two.

How's everyone feeling?

Lao2471 · 03/01/2025 12:51

The nausea has well and truly kicked in for me today, wasn’t expecting it so early. Is anyone else feeling it yet?

susie1984234 · 03/01/2025 13:00

@MyGardenDaisies I'm having a scan on the 24th Jan, I'll be around 7+5. I go on holiday the next day so hoping to see a little heartbeat then 🤞

How far are you now? Sorry if you've posted earlier.

No nausea here but I didn't suffer at all in my first pregnancy either so my fingers are firmly crossed.

MyGardenDaisies · 03/01/2025 14:51

nice @susie1984234 ! I just booked my first scan for 8 weeks, which is bang in the middle between now and NHS 12 week scan.
so excited!!

I've been getting it overnight the last couple of nights, so if my 3 year old wakes me up (which he does every night at the moment!) I not getting back to sleep as the nausea is bad! At least it's not all day yet. I'm 5w+1 today! Trying to decide whether to phone the midwife to arrange a booking appointment or wait till next week. 🤔

That’s okay, I’m 5+3, really hoping it doesn’t mean I’m in for a rough ride but we shall see! Have you had any symptoms at all yet?

Yes mine seems to be worse at night but definitely feeling it through the day too. I don’t have the 3 year old but do get up to pee about 5 times so that doesn’t help 🤣

I wasn’t planning to but had to pop in to the GP yesterday so did it while I was there - was the first time I’d said it out loud to anyone other than DH which was odd!

Mals2022 · 03/01/2025 15:55

Hi everyone! I'm due 1st of September, currently 5+5 but known since I was 3+4 so its already feeling like I've been pregnant for ages🙈 the nausea has well and truly hit, I feel awful most of the day. Really struggled the first time and was on Cyclizine until 19 weeks so hoping this one doesn't go the same way. Just really struggling with looking after a toddler and feeling sick all day at the moment

PlanBea · 03/01/2025 15:59

@Mals2022 oh no that sounds rough! I hope it gets better for you quicker than 19 weeks!

@Lao2471 I've said it out loud to the GP receptionist to get the midwife's number, then my DH was in for a blood test and I asked him to pick up a urine sample bottle for the booking in appointment and he was interrogated asked why he needed it. It feels weird as we aren't talking about it in front of DS yet as he's a little parrot, so it barely feels true yet, despite the nausea/cramps!

2U2 · 03/01/2025 17:04

I think my due date will be around the 14th, which gives a bit of wriggle room should baby come early.

I work in education so a September baby is ideal for maximising paid maternity leave and I've tried to time pregnancies around them being the oldest in their years.

fairydustt · 03/01/2025 17:39

Period was due yesterday, normally it arrives in the morning of period day, kept going to the toilet expecting it to come but never did. Was convinced that I was not pregnant as I felt no different to normal (and I guess expected to feel different) and had zero symptoms, 4pm came and I thought screw it I’ll just do a test so that I can stop thinking about it, and a second line appeared pretty much straight away!! Couldn’t believe it… I swear every other month I’ve had every symptom under the sun and been sure I’d get a positive test and never have and this time I was sure I wasn’t pregnant but I am! Should be due around 7th September 2025 all going well. I was due beginning of September as well but came end of August so I may end up with a lovely birthday present this year 🥰
