@nicolenorris I'm so sorry 😔
Wishing you all the best, take care of yourself.

nicolenorris · 31/12/2024 09:18

If I conceive in my next cycle I'll be due late September that's if I don't ovulate late. So hopefully I'll be back 🥺

I have everything crossed for you in that case!

@nicolenorris best of luck for next time lovely. If it helps, I conceived my son the month after my mc without a cycle in between. There's always hope xx

Melusina123 · 31/12/2024 11:39

Hi everyone, sidling in here but mostly to mark my place/say hi. Like others on this thread I have a history of loss, most recent at 8 weeks in July '24 (we found out it was Trisomy 15). So for me it's just a waiting game until I pass 9 weeks and then maybe I'll feel like it's worth thinking it might actually happen. Fortunately due to my history I'll get weekly scans from my EPAU from 6 weeks.

@nicolenorris so very sorry this wasn't your cycle but all fingers and toes crossed it might still be your month!

camelinastorm · 31/12/2024 15:26

Cautiously joining here to say hi, get advice and all that. Tested positive 22nd and have done tests every second day for a week no progression all are the same IVF baby and had a chemical last year so hoping this one sticks this was my tests Xmas eve and boxing day had to step away from testing as I'm getting to anxious even scared every time I go to the toilet, doesnt help I'm drinking beetroot juice to help implantation and that make your wee red 😂

Hey @camelinastorm ! What CD or DPOs are these from? Xx

Rachae · 31/12/2024 17:07

@camelinastorm love the beetroot juice idea! Xx

Csoa00 · 31/12/2024 17:26

So, I'm happy with my progression and I will probably stop testing now. But I just want some reassurance as I'm feeling quite cramping and lower back aches. It's not severe and it does come and go. But I don't remember feeling this achy in my last pregnancy. No spotting or bleeding either... the anxiety after a loss is debilitating honestly!!!

Hi @Csoa00 I know the feeling! I'm in the same boat. Loads of mild cramps, twinges and lower back ache here too. I've read that you'll feel more on subsequent pregnancies so I'm hoping that's what it's down to.
I plan to ask for an early scan to help with my anxiety, so I'm focusing on that as my check, point I think I'll say 7.5 weeks. Fingers crossed for us both! I didn't know about beetroot juice, interesting!

sorry for your loss @Butterflygirl23 but congratulations, such good news to see that positive!

Lemonolive09 · 31/12/2024 19:40

I'm feeling furious.. Just need to vent.. I rang the doctors earlier and it said the call queue was full and ended the call, I then messaged them on the online service. Asked for advice as I'm pregnant, early but have had 4 days of fever over 38 degrees. No response. Muddled through the day, start feeling worse in the evening and stumbled upon the EPAC website which states to call them or GP for urgent help if you have a fever over 37.5. They're closed now of course.
I feel so let down. I bet the baby won't make it now😔

I’m 5 weeks today and have had the same, back and shoulder aches and the worst cramp all the way down one leg, reassuring to know someone else is feeling similar!

Rachae · 01/01/2025 06:15

@Lemonolive09 that's shocking! Hope you're ok? Have you still got a fever?

Well my FRER has progressed and I'm on CD28 now. I still think it's too light for a day or two before my period tho :-( Expecting another early mc.

Heya @Rachae I haven't got a fever this morning, it's up slightly but not fever levels but it seems to come back every evening so we will see if tonight is the same again. Looks like EPAC are closed for bank holiday.
I don't know, you know best of course but that looks like mine and mine was CD29, though mine could be too light as well.
I should've done another test I just haven't bought one. Maybe I'll get one today for tomorrow morning if I can venture out.

Rachae · 01/01/2025 10:56

@Lemonolive09 glad your fever has gone at least xx

Unfortunately I've calculated im 17DPO , as I got a faint line Xmas Eve on wandfo. Apparently the earliest hcg can be detected on a test is 6 days after fertilization/implantation. So 17DPO is the absolute earliest I could be today - but possibly even later.
So my line should definitely be darker than it is xx

@Rachae I see what you're saying, 😔 so you think there's just not enough HCG. Im sorry, the wait is the worst because you just don't know for sure what is happening.

Will you ask for a scan next week do you think?

Rachae · 01/01/2025 11:27

@Lemonolive09 I know :-( Yea I'll get a scan if it gets that far, I'm under the reoccurrent miscarriage clinic so they tend to scan me every 2 weeks from 6 weeks in my pregnancies xx

Melusina123 · 01/01/2025 13:04

Happy New Year everyone! 🎊

@Rachae I'm sorry to hear about the stress of the tests, you have a lot of experience so I'm sure you're right but FWIW you're not out until you're out - there are so many stories on these boards of people had slow line progression/light lines and everything was fine. Fingers crossed for you.

@Lemonolive09 I'm so surprised nobody is interested in seeing you with a high fever and pregnant!! What is up with the NHS. Glad the fever is coming down. FWIW if I was ever worried about anything and couldn't get hold of GP/EPAU I'd ring 111. They can advise whether to go to A&E and can sometimes arrange for a doctor to call you back or do an OOO appointment.

I'm a bit past 4 wks today. Our first (but least significant) loss milestone is in a couple of days. So far I'm feeling mostly fine, just very tired and quite mixed feelings about being pregnant - I feel like I'm just preparing for another loss. Nausea usually hits around wk6 so in about 10 days.

@Melusina123 thank you.
I feel much the same, I want to just be happy but I feel like I'm going to lose the baby. My losses were 6.5 and 12 weeks, just focusing on getting through each day.
Fingers crossed for the nausea for us both soon then, weird as that sounds!

For me it was about 5wks then about 8wks x 2. Since the last MC I’ve been desperate to be pregnant again, but now I am I just feel so sad.

Unfortunately, I had v similar nausea in the 8wk MCs and my successful pregnancy so although I know it’s most likely coming, I don’t find if very reassuring, I just know I’m going to feel like cr@p from 6wks (if I make it that far) until either I MC or I hit about 14wks.

Anyway TLDR pregnancy after loss sucks as many people on this thread already know. :( As you say it’s about taking each day as it comes.
