Hi everyone, just found out I'm pregnant today at 9dpo, I wanted to make a thread for people to join who will be due in September 2025!

@PlanBea thank you and you too. Great that number 2 happened quickly for you. It definitely adds to the worry knowing how long it took to get this far. We had actually had a few tests and this was the cycle after an HSG so I’ll always wonder if that had something to do with it.

Rachae · 29/12/2024 21:57

@Lemonolive09 that's a great progression! Fingers crossed for you. I haven't tested with first response yet, going to do it tomorrow. Hoping for a darker line than my wanfos. I'm on CD 25 now, which CD are you on? Xx

CD 30 for me, I was due my period on new year's eve so it'll be nice to get past that check point!

Ahh so wanfo lines are still faint and the FRER line is barely there this morning. Too light for CD26. Unfortunately. Had enough experience across the years to know this is either a chemical or a slow moving pregnancy that ends in early mc. :-(
Good looking to everyone! xx

Lemonolive09 · 30/12/2024 08:17

Morning, @Rachae I'm so sorry! Is it fainter than yesterday or just the same? Are your cycles usually fairly short too?
It's so hard, sending hugs!

Rachae · 30/12/2024 10:08

Hey @Lemonolive09 yea so wandfo is the same as yesterday and here's the FRER from this morning. It's always the same pattern with progression when it doesn't work out (tho bizarre that wandfo is darker than FRER- normally the other way around!).
With my last mc.. the lines were faint for ages and it wasn't until about 8 weeks and a few scans that they said it was too far behind. I really am hoping this is a chemical and the line starts fading away tho.

With my son, the FRER line was almost as dark as test by 13DPO.
It's hard, but I feel very lucky to have had my son! Xx

@Rachae I had the exact same. I used wondfo tests this month as well. Mine looked exactly like this and I'm having a chemical although I'm not bleeding yet I'm completely negative today 😞💔 I hope this isn't the case for you x

@Rachae I also have a 2.5 year old who I'm feeling extremely grateful for today ❤️

@nicolenorris aww I'm sorry. 😔 Yes our wandfos look identical. As awful as it sounds, I'm now hoping mine fade away.. rather than progress slowly to a non viable pregnancy. As the removal process is just horrid and harder to snap back from xx

Lemonolive09 · 30/12/2024 18:13

That's so rubbish, I've had two miscarriages before my daughter but I didn't do any early tests with them so haven't experienced this with the tests, where they're fading, only after when I needed the negative before we could try again. I'm wondering if I should test again to see if my line is darker, it was the same with my daughter as you with your son, the line was as dark as the test line. This time it wasn't so I am worried.

I'm sorry that you've had so much experience of this, it's just so heartbreaking.

Rachae · 30/12/2024 18:16

Thanks @Lemonolive09 xx Sorry to hear about your losses too. I'd say I'd you got a strong line, there's no point in tracking it as it's quite agonising! I'm doing it due to my history with chemicals and the 7 MCs.. makes me less anxious to know whats coming.
This said, I took a wandfo tonight and it's darker than the morning one. So who knows what's going on as FRER we're always the gold standard. I'll keep tracking with wandfo and do a FRER morning after tomorrow x

Thank you, @Rachae I really hoped I wouldn't be so anxious this time, having had a baby now but you just go right back to it don't you.

Some moments of the day I'm like we just have to wait and see! Then the next I get gripped in fear and notice every possible sensation in my body as a signal.
I think I'll ask for an early scan around 7/8 weeks if I make it that far, then I might pay for one at 10 weeks, just to get myself by. Unless I'm throwing up by then, that will be reassuring.

So there may be some hope! It could've been a diluted wee I suppose? Everything crossed for you. Have you had any other symptoms?

Rachae · 30/12/2024 20:37

@Lemonolive09 absolutely understand the anxiety! I think I had a scan weekly when I was pregnant with Austin from 5.5 weeks until 13! Some were free thankfully as I was under a lot of care.. but loads I paid for. I think whatever gets you through to be honest! I had zero pregnancy symptoms my whole pregnancy too, not a jot, so I remember that made me anxious too.

I'm curious to see how my wandfo is tomorrow morning. We'll see. Xx

It's so intense. I'm feeling worse I think because I've had flu like symptoms since Saturday, fever and cough, cold etc I've had to take quite a bit of paracetamol which I didn't want to take and now I'm worrying my high temp could've affected the baby, Google isn't being my friend right now! I'm going to call the GP tomorrow, see if they'll help at all.
Gosh zero symptoms, for some that would be the dream but for us that's a nightmare. Have your MCs been since Austin or before him/some both?
Fingers crossed for you for the BFP!

Rachae · 30/12/2024 21:27

@Lemonolive09 aww no that does sound like a rough ride! Flu and pregnancy is not a good combo :-( Hope you're feeling better soon!
I had 6 miscarriages before him and also tried IVF as a way to combat it ... 4 failed rounds. Then I was referred to St Marys in London where my womb was reshaped and they found a blood clotting disorder. Then I had him!
Last mc was when he was over a year old ... I think that was just bad odds rather than something wrong like the last time.
Had loads of fun pregnant too haha.. early bleeding, short cervix (stitch at 20 weeks), gestational diabetes and preeclampsia.

Worth it in the end :-) xc

September 2025 baby due here aswell!
Last monthly cycle started 3/12/24, so only 4 weeks today. I got these clear positives yesterday, I have about a 26 day cycle so was 1 day late. Secondary infertility and managed to conceive following a flush of my ovaries. Praying this baby sticks and holds out until predicted due date of 9-9-25!

Hi everyone, I'm very tentatively joining the thread. We've been trying a long time for our second baby, with numerous losses and a ruptured ectopic along the way. I've just tested positive this afternoon at 10dpo. Please stick, little baba...

thismotherhoodthing · 30/12/2024 23:19

Please can I join! Currently pregnant with my second at 36YO, based on my apps I think I'm either due on 31Aug or 1 Sept!

Have been getting a little bit of bleeding which is making me nervous but I did also have that in my first pregnancy so trying to stay calm until I can get it checked. Have had one loss along the way though so I know how things can change...

I'm mostly feeling nervous about my age. I know I'm not old but I wanted to have my second sooner but we've had a tumultuous year with some awful family events so took a long break from TTC. Now I'm worried about having a more
Complicated pregnancy being that little bit older, and also not having family around able to help. For now I'm just concentrating on that little bean sticking!

Waiting for the nausea to kick in...

Rachae · 31/12/2024 07:28

Well I'm not further forward! I've taken out the night time wandfo tests I've done just to see the day to say progression and todays is the bottom one. There's progression but it looks super light to me for CD27? I have an average of 29-31 day cycle.

Guess I'll see tomorrow with the FRER!

Hi Ladies.

I'm also tentatively joining. Got my first faint BFP on Christmas Day and tested again on 27th and 29th and getting darker so going to stop testing now as due to previous MMC focusing too much on the progression makes me anxious.

I'm sorry to read those having troubles and uncertainty so far, I had a MMC with my first pregnancy in July and it's a heartbreaking journey no matter how early it is.

I turned 40 in September and was only able to conceive with Letrozole due to DOR but I'm really hoping this time sticks

Me and my husband are trying for baby number 2. This morning at 11 dpo, I got my BFP. According to the Internet, my due date is the 9th of September. I had a chemical last cycle so I'm a little bit on edge but praying this baby sticks 🙏 xx

Congratulations!!!! 🥳🎉

Lemonolive09 · 31/12/2024 08:40

@Rachae you really did have a rough ride, but of course it's so worth it isn't it. I had GD as well! It was missed due to COVID so only diagnosed when I was in labour, I was like it's a little late thanks I'm having a giant baby.. in a way luckily I had a bad UTI which brought on early labour so she was born at 35+5. The pregnancy itself was easy but labour and the after part was really hard but I'd do it all again, OFC! I imagine that was so worrying having the stitch and preeclampsia, no wonder you were watched like a hawk.
Definitely progression on that line, my line was super faint on CD27, it only got stronger on CD29.
Welcome everyone, it looks like we've all been on fairly similar journeys with losses, let's hope all these little babies stick! Fingers crossed.

I'm feeling really rough with a flu like cold, but my boobs are more sore so that's something. Just sent a message to the GP.

WestiesAreMyBesties · 31/12/2024 08:46

Due on the 7th September! 🥳🎉
Our second round of IUI seems to have worked!
Hoping this one sticks 🤞
