I had no joint pain in MCs, so there is no link for me. I had some joint pain in my first MC but that was like dpo 2-7 before implantation. Now it only started 5+1 yesterday. I think we can keep calm. Are you doing early scan? I feel like that's the only thing that might reassure me (at least for a bit).

We are all in it together 💕 definitely have an early scan if it is going to give you that reassurance

Anyone suffering from nausea and sickness find it worse in the evening?! It comes to about 5-6pm when the super tiredness comes in and everything is making me heave! Struggling to cook any food and the dishwasher is sending me over the edge!

I feel bit better when I've eaten the food just struggle to cook it!

The little nausea I am experiencing is around that time too!

7+4 and I've had it all day. Opening food cupboards makes me ill, eating, if I'm hungry, certain smells and washing up🤢🤢

Thecomfortador · 28/06/2024 20:53

Weird I've not had much nausea in past couple of days, but just occasionally I get a whiff of something that I'm sure wouldn't normally smell so bad. Otherwise slightly concerned about symptoms easing off. 12 week scan on 25th July and I can't really afford a private one so will just have to wait and watch what happens.

Sod's law that the school is closed next Thursday for the election and my booking appt is same day so I'll probably have to go alone. Also 12 week scan is second day of the holidays. Not sure how we're going to play that one as don't want to go to the scan on my own.

Redapple21 · 28/06/2024 21:41

@susie1984234 really sorry to hear you are feeling so anxious after your scan, lots of ladies here have given some positive encouragement, really hope for better news for you next week.

I am also really struggling with the nausea. It's constant. I really don't remember the nausea being this bad when I was pregnant with DS but maybe I could just rest a lot more that time around.

Sending love to everyone .. these weeks are really dragging!

Anyone else feeling crampy? I’m 5 and a half weeks and today and yesterday been feeling that similar to AF cramps and lower back pain here and there. I had some Implantation cramps a few weeks ago and twinges but nothing since.
A bit worried, especially as I have no symptoms and a current UTI.

So the cramps got unbearable last night which I thought was my UTI not getting clear, but after spending all night in A&E bloods and urine came back fine. So they’ve booked me in for a scan at 9am to see if it’s ectopic.
Fingers crossed this isn’t the case.
My HCG was 1200 at 5+3.
Will keep you updated

UrbanSquirrel · 29/06/2024 08:09

Good grief, @T0r11210 what a nightmare! You poor thing. Fingers very much crossed for 9am and please let us know how you get on. Sending much love x

Its of “unknown location” as just the gestational sac seen at 5wk 3d (HcG 1200) so going back on Monday for another HcG test and book another scan. Not too hopeful but at least not ectopic. I have like 0 symptoms as well

UrbanSquirrel · 29/06/2024 12:37

Thanks for updating @T0r11210. I'm so sorry you weren't able to get a firm answer - but it is still very early so I hope that next week brings a positive outcome for you. As you say, at least it isn't ectopic. Sending more hugs your way. What an upsetting limbo to be in xxx

I am 5 weeks and 5 days, first time for me and I am scared :/ having a scan on Monday to see if it's all okay, so anxious waiting...

susie1984234 · 29/06/2024 12:56

@T0r11210 im sorry you are going through this. I'm also playing the waiting game until next Friday to see if a heartbeat appears. Preparing for both outcomes is hard, on one hand I want to be realistic and on the other that feels like being negative. Although hope might be slim I hope you have a success story!

Thanks everyone else for the words of encouragement, it's really a rollercoaster of emotions but the virtual solidarity is so heartwarming ❤️

T0r11210 · 29/06/2024 15:51

@susie1984234 sorry to hear that you’re in limbo as well, not a nice place to be. It’s hard but we’ve got to think positive and I hope it was just too soon to see the heart beat of your little bean ❤️

UrbanSquirrel · 30/06/2024 09:07

How is everyone doing today? A bit cooler here in London, thank God x

I'm in London this weekend, we went to see Green Day last night, right at the front barrier....oh my God they were amazing! I was so tired by the end, but it was such a great night!

Lemonbalm8 · 30/06/2024 11:21

@Lemonbell ah what a relief! Great to hear that things are progressing.

May I ask if you're taking prednisolone? Did you ever get symptoms?

@Lidlisthebusiness I am in awe! I can barely keep my eyes open past 9:30pm and you're leaping around in a mosh pit 😂 Sounds like an incredible night - but how on earth do you do it?!

I'm surprised, many consultants I've seen say prednisolone makes you feel ok during pregnancy. Glad you are reassured and can enjoy the pregnancy 🙏🏻🤞🏻hope all goes well

Hi @UrbanSquirrel
Afternoon everyone!
That's great news @Lemonbell great to hear things are on track.
I've got a scan tomorrow morning I'll be 7+3. The spotting has eased thank goodness but I'm very symptom-lite compared to many it seems so I've definitely got scanxiety, whereas my husband is excited!

LilacSnail · 30/06/2024 12:54

@WildFinch good luck for your scan tomorrow. I’ve got mine on Wednesday when I should I be 7+4.

I’m similar to you, not much in the way of symptoms which adds to the anxiety!

@Lemonbell congratulations! X

Their energy kept me going! I bought my daughter to see Pink a couple of weeks ago too, two days later I got my BFP. This will be a rock n roll baby!

I have 5 children though, so rest of any kind is a rarity, I survive on very little sleep as it is, haha!

UrbanSquirrel · 30/06/2024 13:30

Good luck for the scan tomorrow @WildFinch! Let us know how you get on 🤗

@Lidlisthebusiness I'm all in favour of indoctrinating the baby with good music. Assuming we progress with no issues, I'm going to have to start putting together a playlist for it to enjoy in the womb - Rolling Stones, Joan Jett, 1940s swing, that sort of thing. Maybe a few 80s power ballads, just to keep it on its toes 😂
