Aha! Now I had no idea about this either because I use the app which is immensely basic. You can't do it on the app. You have to go log in on your laptop and then you get an inbox option under your account drop-down. I can't remember who told me this but (addresses entire group in loud voice) I'm very grateful to you, whoever you were!

I think I've done it! 🤞🏻

So grateful for these threads and groups!! 🫶🏼

Anyone else feeling crampy? I’m 5 and a half weeks and today and yesterday been feeling that similar to AF cramps and lower back pain here and there. I had some Implantation cramps a few weeks ago and twinges but nothing since.
A bit worried, especially as I have no symptoms and a current UTI.

Roxttc · 28/06/2024 10:46

I’m 8 weeks today excited to have reached this point ☺️ Our scan is next Friday think it’ll be the looongest week ever!

susie1984234 · 28/06/2024 10:50

Just been for my first appointment this morning. They have me at 6+5 but I think I'm more like 7 weeks.
There was no heartbeat and it was measuring small. I've to go back in one week to check again and the doctor said she is 50/50.
To be honest I'm overwhelmed and devastated, my partner thinks I'm being negative but it's just not the news I wanted :(

superj21 · 28/06/2024 11:08

@T0r11210 I've had sporadic cramping on an off, sometimes little sharp twinges but nothing lasting or severely painful. My understanding is it's totally normal while everything starts expanding and adjusting inside 😊

@susie1984234 was this a private scan? I'm sorry I can imagine how stressed you must feel but it's still early if it's only measuring 6+5 so crossing everything that the heartbeat can be seen next week.

WildFinch · 28/06/2024 11:22

@OrangeSlices998 welcome! I'm 7 weeks today, first timer and also don't have many symptoms. Slightly sore boobs and some mild cramping after a meal though. I feel the same anxiety! Been spotting for 10 days and have an early scan booked for Monday, hoping for the best.
@susie1984234 really sorry to hear this. I'd feel the same way, hoping for the best when you go back in a week though 🙏🏻

UrbanSquirrel · 28/06/2024 11:30

@susie1984234 Don't give up hope. One thing I've learned is that dating at this stage is a minefield and, at 6+5, you're on the very brink of the time when they can see the heartbeat. If you implanted late it'll be too early to be seen. Keeping my fingers crossed for you when you go back for the follow up - let's hope you just got started a bit more slowly. Sending lots of love and hugs in the meantime xxx

I'm in Germany so it's a wee bit different. This was my first appointment to confirm everything.
I as just a bit small for 6+5 and no heartbeat is also concerning to me.
Not sure if the doctor is just being optimistic saying 50/50 chance

UrbanSquirrel · 28/06/2024 11:50

@susie1984234 Waiting really is the most awful part of this. Still hoping that you have a good outcome when you go back - let us know, of course, when you have an update. Big hugs 🤗

How different is the process in Germany? I'd be really interested to know! (And are you German or a Brit living out there?) x

Thanks ladies for the kind words, it's just the news you dread hearing, and the next week will be excruciating I'm sure!

@UrbanSquirrel I'm Scottish but my DH is German so I've been here for 4 years - it's all still a bit foreign to me but overall the healthcare is a bit more efficient. We pay mandatory health insurance and that covers a lot. I had to have fertility treatment due to terribly low AMH and it was all covered. First Scans are also a bit earlier here (6-7weeks) and then you are scanned every 2/4 weeks depending if you are high risk or not.
But it's all a learning curve for me too and I'm glad to have this thread as I don't have much of a support system here ❤️

UrbanSquirrel · 28/06/2024 13:26

@susie1984234 That's what we're here for 🤗

@susie1984234 sending you positive vibes for your next scan. I know a friend who told me she had a similar experience and they were told chances were not good but when she went back she was actually measuring further ahead than they thought and a clear heartbeat. You just never know so please don’t give up xx

DauntedAF · 28/06/2024 13:53

@tulipwood could you add me to the WhatsApp too please?

DauntedAF · 28/06/2024 13:55

Have my scan next Tuesday when I'll be 7wk 3 days. Counting down the days!

Feeling fairly rubbish last while, wrecked tired and nausea

Ooh good luck for Tuesday! Let us know how it goes. So sorry to hear that you're having a hard time of it. Hope you get a chance to rest over the weekend x

Feeling absolutely exhausted this week! Doesn't help that my toddler has been ill which is making it even harder. Thank god it's nearly the weekend!

apple67cherry · 28/06/2024 14:37

7+4 today and my goodness sickness has caught up with me when I thought I had it easy coming on and off lol. This morning awful sickness and got out the shower, opened the cupboard to get a pack of crisps and the same cupboard I store my spices in and it REAKED so so so strong to me and I'm back at it again with the sickness 😡😡

Has anyone experienced joint pain? I’m 5+1 and just reading that it could be due to Relaxin? Just wondering if it’s common. It is just when I’m going up the stairs.

Yep here 👋🏻 I don't know what it is, but it worries me it's something immune related (I have a history of MCs)

Yes that is what is worrying me since I too had a loss and I noticed it then too.

I had no joint pain in MCs, so there is no link for me. I had some joint pain in my first MC but that was like dpo 2-7 before implantation. Now it only started 5+1 yesterday. I think we can keep calm. Are you doing early scan? I feel like that's the only thing that might reassure me (at least for a bit).

I am but I keep swinging between cancelling and just waiting. The last time was so traumatic. But I think I’d sooner know if there is a problem and then the choices are in my hands. Due to my circumstances, I am not going to tell anyone this time until I know what’s what. I found it hard to deal with everybody else’s grief last time. Hoping and praying for a 🌈
