Continuation from thread 7 over here; https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/pregnancy/5070517-september-2024-thread-7?page=40

Can't believe we filled the last thread up already feels like it wasn't even made that long ago, gosh time is absolutely flying by!!

@WinsandSam - I'll have to ask about CBT for sure, thanks so much for the recommendation - maybe I'll actually get some help seeing as I'm pregnant!

I've been trying to get mental health support for... Well to be honest since teen-hood and realising my daily crying was not in fact "just my period/puberty" as every doctor told me it was (all males ofc, typical 🙄) so I don't hold out much hope if I'm being honest.
I originally wanted to wait until my MH was sorted before ttc, but after over a decade I was running out of fertile time frankly, so here I am still with crazy anxiety and emotional dysregulation, but what can ya do?! 😅

As requested a new thread for us all! 🥰 can't believe its thread 7 already! Then hopefully by thread 14 we'll all have our babies in our arms talkin...

@TripleESept24 I'm 31+2 and as far as I know still breech. Last apt was Wednesday last week, next is Monday coming so I'll know more then. I'm trying to stay reassured that only 3% of babies are still breech by 36/37w so we have time! I've spent HOURS upside down and doing the Spinning Babies exercises and swimming and yoga. I'm gonna book to acupuncture after my Midwife chat as I've also heard that Chiro is a good tool but they're not regulated in Ireland so I don't want a pure conman. And at Eur70 a pop I want to make sure I'm choosing right between acupuncture or chiro.
Hypnobirthing is also helping me friend xxx

@Lillers thanks very much. Alarm has helped me ensure I keep on track, and been alternating fingers too so isn’t as bad. So far all have been within range but I know it’s early days and I think it’s just 2 abnormal readings out of the 12 that I need to report to them.

rupertbear91 · 18/07/2024 14:20

Called mat triage today as I'm on day 3 of a migraine and they weren't interested didn't even ask if my BP was ok or any swelling. So went to have acupuncture to try and ease it as had it a lot before pregnancy.
Didn't go so well. I have been really faint recently and it made me nearly pass out then throw my chicken curry lunch up all over the treatment room 🤦🏽‍♀️ don't think I will be going back there for a while

@MudandMoet I posted an update in the next thread, have been told after this scan I don’t need to see a consultant as all is well. Chonk is measuring 2kg and head is 50% 🥳🎉🍾🎊👏🏻

MudandMoet · 18/07/2024 20:47

@Xur ahh that's brilliant news pleased everything is going well 🥰🙌🏼🥳 it sounds like your little bubba is measuring very similar to mine because at 32 weeks we were just very slightly below 50th centile and approx 2kg too.

My OCD means I can never get over the the start of a new thread until one's finished - thread 6 never got fully finished too and it plays on my mind way more than it should 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Xur · 18/07/2024 20:57

The dish ain’t finished till it’s empty huh @MudandMoet 😂😂😂
my OCD is throwing out food, I don’t care about the expiry date if it looks/smells fine it ain’t going in the bin, I’m eating it 😂 yes it is sometimes the source of quarrels in my household 😂

MudandMoet · 18/07/2024 21:55

@Xur same here! If it passes the sniff test it's going down my throat 😂

Honeyandsunshine1 · 18/07/2024 22:56
