@JTL1983 I very much didn’t want people to know before 12 weeks with my first but was so ill from 6 weeks had to go off work and some folk guessed and one who knew I was pregnant went and told everyone else 🙄 was mightily pissed off when I was getting congratulations messages from randoms from work when I was off sick.

JTL1983 · 24/04/2024 14:43

@Itonlytakesone ow no I would of been pissed not his/hers news to share. If I'm like I was with my first two children I was sick throughout but the labour was a breeze compared to it and I was a size 8 afterwards. I bet no such luck this time 🤣. Do you have any symptoms yet?

MaybeBaby2024 · 24/04/2024 15:10

@JTL1983 lol I wasn’t quite a size 8 but I was a few stone lighter after I gave birth than when I conceived lol.
Just sore boobs, tired a few headaches. I fully expect to have hyperemesis again.

yes I was so so annoyed especially as it was my first baby and was my news to share and that was taken from me.

JTL1983 · 24/04/2024 15:17

@Itonlytakesone my boobs are on/off tender but I'm so tired, have a headache and thirsy

MaybeBaby2024 · 24/04/2024 15:27

@JTL1983 Think you meant to tag me there lol.

Itonlytakesone · 24/04/2024 16:16

My symptoms from 5 dpo to 7dpo were so awful but they've eased today and I'm feeling more normal today 8dpo.

Although iv got a chest infection and now on antibiotics I didn't really want to take them being so early in a pregnancy but the doctor said it's better to take the antibiotics than let yourself get worse so hopefully I'll feel better soon.

JTL1983 · 24/04/2024 16:48

@MaybeBaby2024 yes I did, trying to multi task 🤣

@Itonlytakesone I understand but you don't want a chest infection lingering, hopefully the antibiotics kick in fast

babydust23 · 25/04/2024 08:37

@MaybeBaby2024 I've done another digital today (as it's the day I suspect I'm 4 weeks pregnant) and sure enough it's shown 2-3 so 4-5 weeks pregnant! I've booked an early scan for 12th May Grin

Sangels267 · 25/04/2024 11:02

Hello ladies! Tested for the first time this morning after having a few symptoms and this is the result. According to the app my due date is 3rd Jan

GreenPickle · 25/04/2024 11:45

babydust23 · 24/04/2024 11:06

Long cycles so if I go from my last period I would be due on 14th December but if I go from date of conception I would be due around 2nd January. Digital seems to coincide with the January date 😊

this is good to see! I don't have too long cycles (32 days) but I ovulated at CD20 so most apps are telling me 26th dec but I think more early Jan.

Have ordered a week's digital test so going to take it tomorrow (super scared!). Everything else has said positive but I got sucked into the rabbit holes of line progression 🥲

babydust23 · 25/04/2024 11:49

@GreenPickle I think we all do! Embarrassed to admit how many tests I've taken but I'm all out now Blush Don't plan on buying any more apart from another digital next week to see the 3+ lol

MaybeBaby2024 · 25/04/2024 11:56

@babydust23 @Sangels267 my due date buddies ☺️ I want to do a digital and get the 2-3 weeks but don’t want to waste one lol. Think I’ll wait another couple of days. I’m 4 weeks today on one app and 3+6 on another but with the same due date don’t know why some count it differently.

Rosey93 · 25/04/2024 11:58

Hoping I can join to, I’m 13DPO and have been TTC since a missed miscarriage of twins in December at 10 weeks. Hoping this one sticks, feeling positive at the moment but no real symptoms at all yet. Lovely to see so many positive tests, thrilled for everyone ❤️

@Rosey93 welcome ☺️ I’m 13dpo too. Best of luck to you!

Eeek excited for you!

Yes, have told my hubby to just hide all the unused tests! A positive is a positive until I'm told otherwise (easy for me to say as I'm googling symptoms!)🤣

Itonlytakesone · 25/04/2024 15:58

So many new positives this is great! Mines still there but quite faint on my Amazon crappy tests but I definitely feel pregnant.

Is anyone emotional about it? The slightest thing sets me off!Confused

MaybeBaby2024 · 25/04/2024 16:01

@Itonlytakesone Omg yes with the emotions! Fell like Anything could set me off today. I work in a high stress job and think I might freak my team out if I start bawling in the office 😅

Itonlytakesone · 25/04/2024 16:07

I'm freaking out about balling in public or in front of anybody it's totally thrown me I'm welling up at anything and everything so glad it's not just me🫣

Got my 2-3 weeks on the digital today, lines progressing nicely too ☺️ I will stop testing once I get my digital 3+ weeks lol.

How is everyone doing?

Rosey93 · 26/04/2024 11:37

@MaybeBaby2024 tests looking great! I haven’t really got any pregnancy symptoms but have come down with a horrid cold, typical! Haven’t been ill all year but I have heard that your immune system is a bit weaker to allow a pregnancy to implant so I won’t complain too much! My symptoms properly kicked in around week 6 in my last pregnancy. Hope everyone else is feeling ok

Bought my digital ready for next week (hoping for the 3+!) but have opted for the delivery to come on Wednesday to stop me testing any sooner 😂

MaybeBaby2024 · 26/04/2024 15:04

@babydust23 lol i would hate to see how much money I have wasted spent on pregnancy tests over the years 😅
Yes I will try to hold off to next Thursday/ Friday when I’m 5 weeks then stop testing.

MaybeBaby2024 · 26/04/2024 15:07

Is anyone planning to get an early scan?

I had one with DC1 at 8 weeks and was glad I did as eased the anxiety a bit. Don’t know whether to go a bit earlier this time.
