I am feeling really anxious this time around. I feel like the tests are a mistake!
I keep getting pain like period pains and then slight hip pain.. is anyone else getting this please?

Not the hip pain, but yes to abdominal cramps! Though it does feel slightly different to period pains but same kind of throbbing/cramping pattern. I have lower back pain as well - currently sat at my desk with a hot water bottle against it!

brisses · 02/05/2024 13:59

Could I please join the WhatsApp group too ☺️ due Jan 11 l, BFP TUESDAY at 13 DPO

Firsttimetrier · 02/05/2024 14:59

@GreenSparkle1 I’m getting slight aches and pulling sensations but slightly easing off now.

CityGirlintheCountry · 02/05/2024 16:21

@Orlahoping I'm pregnant with #2, but otherwise our stories are exactly the same! Here for extra fingers to cross and a handhold through the anxiety and nerves!

Orlahoping · 02/05/2024 16:58

@CityGirlintheCountry the anxiety is something else isn't it?! Gentle congratulations to you and fingers crossed for happy, healthy pregnancies for us all.

Newhere1993 · 02/05/2024 18:26

@GreenSparkle1 I have had a bit of hip pain and cramping. Last night to feeling like someone was pulling my hips a part and pulling lower abdomen, had a wee and changed positions all went! I'm feeling the tiredness and bouts of dizziness but panicking not much more, keep needing to remember it's early days

Firsttimetrier · 02/05/2024 21:57

Is anyone planning on doing an early private scan? We did in my last pregnancy around 8 weeks and think we’ll do the same again. Just made me feel slightly more reassured that things were in the right places and looking okay.

bluebutterfly8 · 02/05/2024 22:07

Hi everyone

I hope you don't mind me joining in.
I'm 5+2 after a number of miscarraiges, however I do have 3 healthy dcs.

I'm 32 from Yorkshire and currently working and haven't yet told my manager or anyone for that matter. I'm petrified that this will end being a miscarraige too - so difficult to think otherwise!
And on top my manager is known to accidently slip things out of his mouth and last thing I need is for the whole department to know at this stage!

I've been referred to the Gynaecology department and GP has prescribed Progesterone pressaries which I started using earlier this week.

My symptoms are not so strong as of yet, not sure if it's the same with the rest of you

Goodluck to you all Flowers

Also yes, booked for 8 weeks. Did a digital (pregnant 1-2 weeks) with DH today and surprised him with a tiny newborn outfit! We are very excited now but being cautious as well. 💕

Would love to join if that's ok?

Just found out today at 10DPO on clear blue digital. Estimated due date is 16 January.

It's my first but my will be my partners third. I'm 36 he is 39 and it's happened very quickly for us so very much in shock (happy shock)

No idea what I'm supposed to do now. I guess phone the GP on Monday

First baby with my partner but I've also got 2 children who are 16 and nearly 13, both of which were early so I could just make the end of the year 😂 16yo birthday is new year too so it'll be a busy time for us

Good to see you here. It's so scary after a miscarriage 😞 I don't feel confident about this pregnancy myself but just taking it a day at a time at the moment.

That’s all we can do I’ve tested lots of times during the day and all
produced a good line. I actually feel better this time than last time last time I was so sick so early on

MaybeBaby2024 · 04/05/2024 20:21

Welcome to all our new BFPs joining the thread 😊 How is everyone feeling today?

I’m starting to get niggles of nausea and going off food. Just waiting for it to turn into full blown hyperemesis again like last time 😩 trying not to over-commit myself to anything over the next couple of months just incase I am really ill.
Also think I might be brave and see if I can get a 3+ weeks on the digital test tomorrow. 5+1 or 2 today.

girlmom2 · 04/05/2024 21:37

Hi never joined any forums in past pregnancies but recently found out pregnant with baby number 4 , I have a 2 yo , 4yo and 6yo .. my partner has a 2yo n 6yo but first together to complete our family , due 6th jan according to last period date , hope everyone is keeping well! Personally I struggle to get excited this early on it's a worrying time 🥲 but booked scan for the 17th for reassurance ...look forward to hearing about everyone's experiences over the next 8 months x
