I am so bloated but trying to hide it still (obvs!)

Anyone else the same? What are you wearing? I feel like none of my clothes fit me and I’m just in jumpers and leggings every day which is starting to wear me down as the weather is getting nicer.

luc243 · 23/03/2024 10:57

Happy Saturday ladies! I think my boobs have grown a cup size overnight 😂 other than that just dealing with major tiredness. Cannot stay awake on the sofa in the evenings. My first pregnancy so I’ve been wondering about when and if any nausea will start. Only had weird tastes in my mouth so far really. Also majorly thirsty in the evening!

@Sparksi So bloated too! I’m just unbuttoning my jeans or doing the hair tie thing through the loop and over the button while I’m sitting in them. Other than that, I’m in joggers at home and folding them down as to not cut in

waryandbored · 23/03/2024 13:05

Well my HCG has doubled since Thursday. So I’m going for another scan Monday morning and hopefully they will see something this time 🤞🏼

UnravellingTheWorld · 23/03/2024 13:28

Ugh my migraine is back 😩 (not that it ever went away), and I was out so got home late for lunch. Which made me nauseaus because I hadn't eaten in an hour.

I would like to fast forward to November, please!

PennySong · 23/03/2024 13:54

I'm due mid-November - I'd like to join in the thread ☺️ I'll be six weeks tomorrow and get my first scan next Thursday.

Starting to get nervous about it and doing a test every few days. The second dark line is so reassuring!

That's great news, keeping everything crossed that you'll see the heartbeat on Monday.

Loz365 · 23/03/2024 14:37

@waryandbored that's good news! Fingers crossed!

I've had some red bleeding this morning, only when wiping but it's happened a few times. Also getting some very mild cramps too 😔😔
My local EPU isn't open on the weekends so going to have to wait until Monday to give them a call. Hoping it's going to be okay but also trying to prepare myself for bad news 😞

Sorry to hear that, hope it’s not getting any worse? How many weeks are you now? It’s all just such a worry isn’t it 😔

Thank you. Trying not to get ahead of myself still. I’m still having really light spotting/bleeding and not feeling any symptoms. But the doctor said the results are encouraging so I shall try and feel encouraged!

Sparksi · 23/03/2024 16:15

We had sex this afternoon and immediately after I went to wipe and found blood on the tissue. It is only when I wipe and looks like spotting (pinkish/light red in colour). I’m terrified and both DH and I are wishing we didn’t - it was the first time since I got a BFP.
Finding it really triggering because it was this exact gestation to the day that I began to spot in my last pregnancy, but with that the bleeding just got heavier and ended in MC the following day.
Praying it’s just my cervix that’s been irritated. Feel sick at the thought of anything else.

piechipsgravy · 23/03/2024 16:17

@Loz365 sorry to hear that- hopefully it doesn't continue and you can get some reassurance soon

@Sparksi I replied on your other thread but it could well be cervical ectropion which is common and not a cause for concern (but deffo ring EPU anyway- they told me I should still be checked if it happens regardless)

@waryandbored I'm 7+3 weeks, and we had a scan last week and couple see a heartbeat and in the right place. Really hoping it's nothing... it seems to be easing up, tiny bit every time I wipe but still got some cramps. Will just have to see what happens over the weekend I think.
These early weeks are such a stress!!

I had cramps and bleeding last Sunday/Monday. I’ve been spotting ever since. No pain since Tuesday.. no idea what it all means. Hope it all settles for you.

y0rkier0se · 23/03/2024 19:54

@Sparksi I had exactly the same last week. I haven’t had any other bleeding, was just a tiny bit of pink after sex. Google says it’s very normal, as long as it doesn’t get heavier. Try not to worry x

New on here.

Due Nov !

3rd pregnancy.

1st was stillborn gorgeous baby boy 💔
2nd healthy toddler aged 2 1/2 now 🌈
3rd baby now (having CVS done soon to check this baby is healthy 😭🙏)

I have never felt so tired and nauseated when pregnant like I do this time! I'm 7 weeks and tired from am to pm, gagging all the time (but hungry constantly) I feel hung over😩 hate complaining as I am super blessed (we weren't actively trying and boom surprise surprise) but I can't help feel so rubbish. I'm also full of anxiety because we have a 1-4 chance this baby may have what my first little boy had, so the mix of emotions are insane.

Currently trying to stay awake but body is like nope! 😴 😴 😴

I feel you! I have a 15 month old and she keeps me busy! She's also not a good sleeper so the exhaustion is building with multiple night wake ups. Are you still BF? I am and the nipple sensitivity has really kicked in over the last few days which is making BF very challenging and sore :(

Hello. I’m not, I stopped breastfeeding just after his first birthday. He was an awful sleeper with very long night wakes, but then just started sleeping perfectly through at 14 months after some gentle sleep training. I hope you get some decent sleep soon!

BellatrixK · 23/03/2024 22:47

So sorry that’s there’s so many of us anxious due to past experience or bleeding etc. Just a few weeks to get through and then I’m sure we will all feel much better ❤️

Twinklebell7 · 24/03/2024 05:52

@PennySong i have my first scan next Thurs too! I’ll be 7+1

mrssunshinexxx · 24/03/2024 07:17

@whoops2024 so sorry you lost your son, this sounds a mentally challenging time take care of yourself and have good chats with your midwife ❤️

SouthwestSis · 24/03/2024 08:03

Welcome @whoops2024 and congrats on your pregnancy,
I'm feeling very similar to your symptoms and I have a 2yr old son, being pregnant whilst you have a toddler is a different ball game isn't it!
Is your partner supporting you by doing a bit more at home whilst you're feeling rough?

Kinsters · 24/03/2024 08:06

Hi everyone. I'm 8 weeks today and due 2nd November. I've had some bleeding and am taking progesterone for that.

The indigestion and nausea is horrible although I seem to be over the worst of the nausea now, I was last sick over a week ago. I've started taking an omperazole every few days which helps with the indigestion. I have some left over from my previous pregnancy but will have to get some more soon.

Starrysky812 · 24/03/2024 08:10

@BellatrixK thank you! I hope so too! I need to do something soon, as the situation won't be sustainable with a newborn. Even bending to put her back into her cot so many times overnight worries me as my bump gets bigger. DH and I plan to reassess next month when she's 16 months, possibly looking first at night weaning with him taking over all night wakes. I've read quite a lot of other mums whose babies have then started sleeping through (after initial protesting!) because they know they're not getting a breast anymore. Do you mind me asking what your approach to weaning / sleep training was? Always keen to have any tips and experiences 🙏❤️

PS. Love the username!

I weaned both of mine during pregnancy and after weaning they did sleep better (DD more so than DS). It's somewhat easier to do during pregnancy as your milk can start to dry up. It was a slow process with a lot of tears though!

CurlyWurly1991 · 24/03/2024 09:58

@Starrysky812 we did similar and night weaned DD (now 10!!) at about 15 months. DH just lay with her when she woke in the night and after a while she stopped waking to ask for milk. I was so tired by that point working FT I remember the exhaustion.

RedCords · 24/03/2024 10:12

Ah, found the new thread! Hi everyone.

Feeling really low and having a bit of a wobble. Strangest thing, been ttc for a few months and was immediately delighted with my BFP. Its been 2 weeks since and I am just feeling really overwhelmed and worried that I've made a bad decision. I wish I didn't feel like this and I feel ashamed to :(

I have a supportive DH, my own home, a good job. I have no idea why I'm having this wobble when I know that I'm in a good position for a baby. At the same time, I'd be heartbroken to miscarry I think. Maybe the reality is creeping in.

Ugh, not sure what's going on :(
