Hi all! I'm 4 weeks exactly today, due date is 4th August ☺️ This will (hopefully) be DC2!

How is everyone feeling? I've got sore boobs, mild cramps and waves of nausea that I didn't get until week 6 with my DD so I guess it's starting early, lucky me 🥳

@fr4zzledmum keeping everything crossed for you lovely 🤞🏼 I had spotting on and off in my first pregnancy and everything was textbook and healthy. Rest up and take it easy xx

SunSparkle · 04/12/2023 19:46

@fr4zzledmum you can always contact your GP and ask if progesterone supplementation might help with the spotting. Some feel they can prescribe it, others feel you need to be under a fertility consultant. Fingers crossed for you.

@CurlyWurly1991 I didn't even think of the covid booster. I will contact my GP tomorrow.

CurlyWurly1991 · 04/12/2023 20:04

@fr4zzledmum hope it is just spotting and doesn’t come to anything. I’m another that spotted during my first pregnancy and all was well.
@SunSparkle i booked both the flu and covid jabs via the nhs app, when I called the gp reception earlier to be registered with midwives they said that’s fine. Was surprised no proof/form needed etc.

SnookyPook · 04/12/2023 20:08

@fr4zzledmum ah it's so nerve-wracking. Really hope it's just early pregnancy spotting for you and that all is well. 💕

SouthwestSis · 04/12/2023 20:40

Sending hugs @fr4zzledmum
Take extra care of yourself and let OH know you need some tlc tonight.

Thanks for the reminder about covid and flu jabs, I will get on with booking those.
Had a crap nights sleep last night with my toddler up twice and my husband trying to cook me by turbo charging the heating just after midnight so really looking forward to bedtime tonight, so rock n roll!

SnookyPook · 04/12/2023 21:27

@CurlyWurly1991 ooh interesting about the jabs. I had thought about it but assumed I'd need to register and have that form thing they send out before I'd get them for free. Will have to check that out. Thanks for the reminder!

warmbutteredtoast · 04/12/2023 21:28

@fr4zzledmum Definitely not over yet, I've had spotting, bleeding, clots with all 3 of my pregnancies and only 1 was a miscarriage. It's such a horrible experience though, thinking of you xx

warmbutteredtoast · 04/12/2023 21:29

@etaketak1991 I'm the opposite, kinda fine in the morning then sicker in the evening. I'm a bit worried it's started so early!!

warmbutteredtoast · 04/12/2023 21:30

@EMJL Oh hey due date buddy! Really hoping everything goes so well for you!

EMJL · 04/12/2023 21:33

@warmbutteredtoast you too lovely! Hope you're feeling okay so far!

MaryHua · 05/12/2023 00:46

Hi everyone! I'm joining too if that's ok, as I got a BFP today (12DPO) and also a positive clearblue digital. This is my first pregnancy and estimate due date between 10th-15th August.
I ovulated on CD22 so not sure where that puts me on the gestational pregnancy timeline...?
I'm tentatively excited but also cautious as I know the next 8 weeks are very important.
I also have to ring my GP practice in the morning to start the first steps.

earlytwentiesmama · 05/12/2023 09:03

Hi Everyone

Please can I join 🦋

Got my BFP yesterday on digital and clear blue early at 12dpo!

Due date around 13th August. Second baby, third pregnancy so dealing with anxiety around miscarriage but hoping for the best!

Started to feel tired yesterday and was asleep by 8:15pm and had a very short wave of nausea too.

Wishing everyone healthy and happy pregnancies ✨

EMJL · 01/12/2023 16:18

Hi ladies,

Hope you don't mind me joining! I got my BFP this morning for baby no2. I already have a 2.5 yr old DS.

I had a chemical pregnancy at the beginning of October so being cautious and trying not to get my hopes up too much.

Expected due date is 12th August 🥰

Happy to have others to share this journey with!

Hi!

I think we have the same due date and I also have an almost 2.5 year old ❤️

EMJL · 05/12/2023 09:15

@earlytwentiesmama Hey!

Congratulations 💕

How exciting we have the same due date & same age son!! It'll be lovely to share this journey together. We're planning on making a Due in August 2024 Facebook group in the new year, you would be more than welcome to join!

Hope you're feeling okay so far!xx

Pearlandmoon · 05/12/2023 10:07

Hi everyone 🫶

So lovely to read of all your BFPs! I got my BFP 2 days ago and it's still sinking in... I still don't really believe it!

I'm 34 and this is my first so I'm very nervous and don't know what to expect but hoping I can get some tips and advice from people in this thread / the Facebook group when it's started up, if all goes well 🙏

MaryHua · 05/12/2023 10:08

Hi @EMJL my due date is around the same as yours and @earlytwentiesmama

I'd to join the Facebook group too please! If you know of a link when it's created could you send it on? Thanks!

Congratulations to all the newly expectant mums on here!! ✨🌟✨

EMJL · 05/12/2023 10:11

@MaryHua Hi lovely! Congratulations 💕

Of course you would be more than welcome to join! I think we agreed I would set one up in January once we're all a little bit further along and all of the Christmas madness was out of the way! I will pop a link in this thread when it's up and running 🥰

Hope you're feeling okay so far!xxx

MaryHua · 05/12/2023 10:13

Ah that's great @EMJL !
Sorry if I missed your earlier comment on this.
Congratulations to you too! Here's hoping we all have a happy and healthy Christmas and see each other in January 🤞🌟✨

EMJL · 05/12/2023 10:15

@MaryHua 💕💕

Absolutely!! Hoping we'll all be feeling a little bit better in January (less exhausted and nauseous 😂) but that could be wishful thinking!!xx

CRbear · 05/12/2023 10:29

Thanks for the tip off about the vaccines! I’ve booked a covid and flu combo jab for next Tuesday. Asked if I was pregnant but no proof required.

I can only ring and book with midwives from the same day (6 weeks here).

Sorry to hear so many others are also pregnant off the back of a miscarriage! Hope everyone managing ok. I’m simultaneously madly confident it will be fine but also cautious - real head and heart stuff. I haven’t downloaded any apps etc. I can’t wait to get past 6 weeks and then past the equivalent date to when I miscarried. I don’t feel any pull for an early scan as I miscarried 3 days after seeing the heartbeat so a good scan means nothing to me.

newjourney21 · 05/12/2023 11:23

Hi all, been a bit quiet over the last few days and have been feeling quite nervous and trying not to overthink too much! My clearblue digital changed to 2-3 weeks which has been somewhat reassuring and I have an early scan booked in for 22nd December so now just going to be patient til then!

I hope everyone is doing well Smile the exhaustion has been the biggest thing for me this week.

SnookyPook · 05/12/2023 11:33

@newjourney21 completely get that! Also trying not to overthink! My first scan is for 21st Dec so we'll be feeling nervous at the same time! X

blackcat33 · 05/12/2023 11:37

Hello.

Got my positive on Saturday. This will be our second. We have an 19 month old girl. Looking forward to sharing this journey with you all. Think i'm due around the 12 August.

newjourney21 · 05/12/2023 11:38

@SnookyPook good luck will be thinking of you too and I hope all goes well for us both x

MaryHua · 05/12/2023 11:43

@SnookyPook I also have my first scan on 21st.
For me it's just on 6 weeks though so I'm apprehensive about that. I wanted to wait until at least 7 weeks but it will be Christmas week by then.
How many weeks will you be by 21st Dec?
