Hi all! I'm 4 weeks exactly today, due date is 4th August ☺️ This will (hopefully) be DC2!

How is everyone feeling? I've got sore boobs, mild cramps and waves of nausea that I didn't get until week 6 with my DD so I guess it's starting early, lucky me 🥳

Hi all! I had my early scan and booking appt today.
Baby is measuring 6w+3. Slightly overwhelmed with the number of appointments they said I will have (high risk pregnancy) but am glad they are monitoring. Felt very weird to see the little heartbeat!

Due August 2024!
pontipinemum · 20/12/2023 11:55

@Blueberry1990 I just set one up, a lot of people are asking for one. I called it "When the poppies will bloom" because supposedly poppies are the flower of August

I'm happy to change the name so let me know any suggestions. Also would one/two of you be able to be admins as well?

Hi everyone, am I okay to join in? I got my positive last week. I'm currently 3 weeks 6 days so still super early! It will be baby #1, due 29th August ☺️

warmbutteredtoast · 20/12/2023 13:12

Just wondering, is there anyone on here who was on the Due June 2022 thread as well? Would be fun to reconnect!

Saffie920 · 20/12/2023 13:18

Hi @Karinx congratulations! I think we share an expected due date! Hope all is going well for you so far 😊

Karinx · 20/12/2023 13:26

@Saffie920 how exciting! All good so far, it just feels very surreal, I still can't quite believe it. Hope all is going well for you so far too ☺️

brbttc · 20/12/2023 13:33

Can I ask if anyone else is experiencing cramping on and off? I'm only 4+4, got my bfp at 3+3.

This is my second, but I don't remember having cramping the first time around. I know some cramping is totally normal, but I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this for so long (over a week now). I've not had any bleeding at all, so at least that's something. But the cramping is noticeable. Not crippling painful or anything, just.. noticeable.

Anyone else??

CurlyWurly1991 · 20/12/2023 14:07

@brbttc yes I had period like cramping after my period was due which only tailed off recently (I’m 6-7weeks now). I have also had a lot of the bloaty/pulling/stretching type cramps as well. Hope that reassures you x

brbttc · 20/12/2023 14:10

@CurlyWurly1991 thank you for replying! It really is reassuring to hear. I had some pulling feeling last week and I'm definitely bloated. The cramping and pulling is new for me this time around, but I bloated really early last time too.

hotpotato64 · 20/12/2023 14:23

Have just caught up with this thread- it’s moving so fast! So lovely to see scan pics and welcome to new joiners!

Struggling with first tri symptoms here- as previous poster said it’s tricky juggling symptoms with toddler! Also have loads of Christmas prep to do but just feel too tired!

@pontipinemum thanks for setting up FB group, have requested to join

SV12 · 20/12/2023 14:25

@pontipinemum I've requested the Facebook group, I don't mind being an admin if you need one, initials VON.
Love the group name 😊

CharTT33 · 20/12/2023 14:27

@Isitisit Yaaaay! Love this for you! I’m so happy you got your positive scan! ❤️❤️

SMD16 · 20/12/2023 14:58

Symptom wise I'm just bloated and a groggy nose.. had a week of feeling off it and off food which has now passed. Ironically exactly the same as last time around. Little one is nearly 11 months so looking forward to her first Christmas x

MaryHua · 20/12/2023 16:07

@pontipinemum hi I have also requested to join the Facebook group, I'm 6 weeks today or tomorrow. My initials are SH ✨

CurlyWurly1991 · 20/12/2023 16:35

Anyone else feeling their jeans getting a bit tight or is that just me? 😆 all my work clothes are a bit too nipped in at the waist, I am going to need maternity clothes sooner than I did first time! Any recommendations for cheap basics? I know H&M used to do a range. Had a look on vinted but a lot of it looks quite heavily used. I need professional clothing…

etaketak1991 · 20/12/2023 16:43

@pontipinemum Thank you for setting up the FB group ❤️ I'm KS.

@CurlyWurly1991 I love Seraphine's stuff but can only afford their sale prices 😂 They have some very professional looking blouses and trousers etc.

@CurlyWurly1991 im only 5 weeks (and very bloated) and have already sacked off my jeans! I was on holiday last week and had only taken jeans and I was SO uncomfortable! I spent the majority of the day walking round with the button undone 😂
