Hi all! I'm 4 weeks exactly today, due date is 4th August ☺️ This will (hopefully) be DC2!

How is everyone feeling? I've got sore boobs, mild cramps and waves of nausea that I didn't get until week 6 with my DD so I guess it's starting early, lucky me 🥳

@GeographyTeacher how excited!! May have had a little cry at your news! Congratulations ❤️ did you have any idea that you may have 2 hiding in there?

fr4zzledmum · 15/12/2023 21:41

YES @GeographyTeacher - the best update!

Have you told anyone yet?

fr4zzledmum · 15/12/2023 21:42

justlonelystars · 15/12/2023 19:23

@fr4zzledmum could it be that your sense of smell is more sensitive? Ask your DP if you’re more stinky than usual and if he doesn’t think so, probably your sense of smell!

I presume it is - DH has said he's not noticed. I just feel like I smell like a teenage boy 😂

RiverBear · 15/12/2023 21:43

@GeographyTeacher arghh!!! Amazing! I'm SO happy for you 🥰🥰

Isitisit · 15/12/2023 21:55

@GeographyTeacher

Awww, how lovely!

@fr4zzledmum My husband and I have a virus , he is sat across the room from me now and I swear I can smell the illness on him!

warmbutteredtoast · 15/12/2023 22:39

@GeographyTeacher Aww this is the best news ever!!! And over 7 weeks is so reassuring. So so pleased for you! Will you have any more scans before 12 weeks? X

SnookyPook · 15/12/2023 23:27

@Isitisit my toddler has the cold that everyone seems to have at the moment and I swear he has stunk of mucus to me! I've only just realised that maybe not everyone is smelling it quite the same! 🤔

ElizaGolightly · 16/12/2023 05:57

@SnookyPook I can completely relate. My sense of smell isn't usually very good but now I'm on it, chasing my toddler round until she let's me change her nappy as I can smell everything 🤮

ElizaGolightly · 16/12/2023 05:58

Congratulations @GeographyTeacher that's such lovely news!

CatLadyH · 16/12/2023 08:09

@GeographyTeacher this is wonderful news for you! Congratulations 🙌

how is everyone doing? Had my works Christmas party last night, left relatively early as I was shattered but managed to avoid any questions about not drinking by having mocktails and soda and lime in a tumbler so it looked like a g&t 😆. Got booking in appt with midwife next Friday and we are going for a ravage scan after I should be 8wk+1 by then going off LMP.

have a great weekend everybody 💖

SnookyPook · 16/12/2023 09:08

@CatLadyH haha I went for mocktails at my work do as well. One of my colleagues heard I'd got one with passion fruit in and was asking if it was the one with vodka or rum 🤔 😂 Thought she was going to ask for a sip!

My booking appointment has come through for 5th Jan. All being well I should be 9+4 by then. Feels more real seeing appointments coming in.

newjourney21 · 16/12/2023 09:26

Congratulations @GeographyTeacher that's amazing news!!

fr4zzledmum · 16/12/2023 09:31

So I've woken up to more spotting this morning at 6+1. I'm not panicking but I am, haha! I know it's common - just trying to keep that in my head.

No cramps or anything.

Had our scan this morning. Measuring 6 weeks which is a few days behind what we thought but apparently within normal limits. Was very easy to spot right away Inc their little heartbeat.

Due August 2024!
ThelastRolo20 · 16/12/2023 10:55

@GeographyTeacher wow! Amazing news 🎉😍 congratulations @fr4zzledmum it's more than likely to be nothing to worry about but of course it makes us instantly anxious, I hope it's short-lived for you!

I've had my 12 week scan date through and I have very mixed emotions about it as that's when I found out last time about the MMC! A long 7.5 weeks ahead

winterspinach · 16/12/2023 11:55

Hi ladies, anyone wake up feeling totally fine and then symptoms will hit them in the middle of the day like fatigue and nausea? I’m 5+2 at the moment and sometimes get scared that i feel totally fine at the beginning of the day lol

Sav2023 · 16/12/2023 12:13

@winterspinach yes this is me! I’m 6+3 and every morning I wake up with only slight nausea and boobs aren’t that sore. Later in the day the nausea and sore boobs hit and wipe me out for half the day 😅 though I’m thankful when I do feel nauseous. Im trying to not panic every morning which is easier said than done after a recent MMC!

Isitisit · 16/12/2023 12:18

Congratulations @Bells3032 ! Glad you had a positive scan.

winterspinach · 16/12/2023 12:52

@Sav2023 ah that’s so reassuring thank you! Crazy how you’re halfway through the day and suddenly your body feels like it’s been through an obstacle course😭
Hope you have a very healthy pregnancy, so sorry to hear about the MMC 💗
