Hi all! I'm 4 weeks exactly today, due date is 4th August ☺️ This will (hopefully) be DC2!

How is everyone feeling? I've got sore boobs, mild cramps and waves of nausea that I didn't get until week 6 with my DD so I guess it's starting early, lucky me 🥳

@fr4zzledmum I'm having the same issue! Got my booking appointment through but I need to change it, have tried phoning the midwives office about 20 times and left a message and heard nothing back! I really can't make the appointment so I'm desperate to change it!xx

@deliwoman1 Im ok today, just trying to shift my mind into the ‘what will be will be mindset’. I’m off work again today, my head teachers is great… I’ve got outta bed, cleaned my house and now just going to visit my parents who live 5 mins away from him. Put on some make up and combed my hair 😂🤣😂 you’ll be surprised what a little makeup can do! I’m just literally over thinking al the time so trying to stay busy without doing too much.. weird!

Sorry to hear about your scan but it doesn’t mean it’s all baddddd as you ovulated later. When is your next scan? My next one is 19th dec, feels so far away! I was contemplating booking a private scan but I don’t like the idea of having the internal scan all the time. So I dunno!

We just have to be positive! As hard as that can be.. Sending hugs!!!! 🤗

So I've finally managed to get through to the midwives office, who have taken my details but won't give me an appointment yet. They're going to ring me back in a couple of weeks.

Bit awkward with work but never mind!

@fr4zzledmum that's what they told me too, they should be in touch when I'm nearing the 8 week mark... don't know how I'll keep myself entertained until then 😆

Finally heard back from the midwives, I've swapped my appointment at 6 weeks for one at 9 weeks in the beginning of January! Should get a scan letter through soon 🤞🏼

@CharTT33 sorry I’m just catching up - I’m so sorry to read you’re going through a scare!

Ugh, so just been to pick my folic acid prescription up and been given 0.4mg instead of 5mg.

Ugh been feeling so rough this week. Lots of nausea on and off all day. Really hoping it eases off by Xmas. I want to enjoy all the Xmas food without feeling sick 😂

Think I should be 6 weeks tomorrow. Hope everyone else is doing okay x

just found out today at 12dpo that I’m expecting this will be our first and estimated due date of 16th of August for now 😊

about 4 weeks only so early days but got my 8 week appointment with the midwife booked in early Jan. They only do a phone call so that’s interesting I guess 😂

Have no symptoms whatsoever so we’ll see what the future brings !

Hi. Due early August. Had one evening where I had spotting on wiping at 4 weeks 5 days. Have had occasional cramping but no further blood or signs of pregnancy! Hoping it was implantation bleeding but feeling a bit meh that it might be a miscarriage. Such a long wait for a scan!

Also do not feel pregnant yet either which isn’t reassuring!

And the lady at the pharmacy was one of the mums from school, so she'll clearly know what my prescription was for! So that's the first people outside me and DH to know

@Mc36 I had exactly the same as you earlier this week - one occasion of wiping and seeing blood, then nothing since. I do think it's quite normal, and most likely implantation bleeding, especially when only for a small period of time.

And if it makes you feel any better, I don't think I ever truly felt pregnant until after 20 weeks with my DD - morning sickness was like a drawn-out tummy bug.

It's early days yet - and plenty of time ahead to 'feel' pregnant.

@Slowcookertea Hey no worries my love, I’m just home relaxing now trying to chill and take each day as it comes. I had the blood results back and they said my HCG levels are raised 6000 and something lool sooooo here we go… Roll on the 19th! I’ve haven’t been able to get out and about to do ANYYYYY Xmas shopping yet! Loool plan to do a bit tomorrow. Xx

felt the nausea today, low appetite and then once I eat feeling like I want to throw up 🤢
MW called me back and she is coming to do the booking appointment at my house when I’ll be about 8-9 weeks, all being well 🤞

@CharTT33 ahh that’s really good news. Just resting now, and remember that a job is just a job - take the time you need! And I’m saying that as I am also a teacher 😂

Since yesterday, I have felt horrendous. Just feel so hungover and sicky. So this is me from now for a good few weeks I think 🤢

I've just been out for a meal and ate like half teaspoon of homemade garlic mayo without thinking! Stopped once I realised but this has made me realise that I need to study on what I can and can't eat.... does anyone have a handy list 😅

I wouldn't worry about this - 99% sure the mayo would've been made with Red Lion eggs, which are safe to eat in pregnancy runny and in mayo.

What's wrong with garlic mayo? I avoided alcohol, pate and blue cheese with my son but that's about it from memory...!

@Sunny1986 mayo is made with raw egg so it's not advisable that you have it if it's homemade - the ones in jars are fine I think! Thanks for the link 😁

I think it's avoid:
non Lion eggs
undercooked meat e.g. salami
undercooked fish e.g. smoked salmon
cheese with a rind (Goat's cheese) or blue
too much tuna
alcohol (obviously)

I remember with my first being incredibly annoyed on finding out (at 8 months preg) that baked camembert is allowed as its cooked. So cross I'd been missing out!

Also, my friend was due a month before me and bought a Bookers size smoked salmon packet immediately after birth and ate it within the week 😅

I got my BFP on 2nd December, but have been taking some time to believe it after a MC in early November.

I think I'm due 12th August, but I'm not certain as I didn't track this month!
