Hi all :) I'm 13+3 today and feel like I've got the start of a little bump forming. It doesn't feel like bloat anymore and I can't suck it in haha. I didn't have great stomach muscles before but they will have completely given up after having my first so I'm not surprised I'm starting to show early 🤣

Ttcmumma · 14/10/2023 12:43

@sugarplum33 same! I'm 14+4 and definitely had somewhat of a bump for a couple weeks now. I can only partially suck it in at the end of the day so I'm guessing that little bit is the added bloat and what I start the day with is actual bump! I usually wear high waisted cycling shorts everyday but they're starting to feel like they're squeezing me a little so changed to dressed/joggers haha. Actually so excited to have a proper bump!!

BVIre · 14/10/2023 13:28

I’m 14+2 & jeans are definitely a struggle

Hopefulfirstround · 14/10/2023 14:55

15+4 today , due April 1st and the bump seems to have arrived ! Now just trying to figure out what buggie to buy 😂 it’s a minefield

sugarplum33 · 14/10/2023 15:01

Ahh how lovely there are lots of little bumps appearing :)

@Hopefulfirstround I can recommend the Uppababy Vista, ours was used for 3 years with DD and is still in great condition and ready for number 2.

sweetdreams23 · 14/10/2023 19:27

Thanks for setting up a new thread. 13 weeks today and had to use the hair grip trick on the jeans. It’s defiantly that awkward time now for clothes with finding things that are comfy. Think il be living in leggings for the next few weeks!

Janeykat · 14/10/2023 20:09

Hi all! 12+5 today and getting excited about my 12 week scan next Wednesday:) have already had 2 early scans due to previous losses but next week feels significant.

very bloated and have already started wearing some of my maternity jeans from the last time.. its probably too early to be an actual bump so I cant even blame the baby🤣

XenaTheWarriorPrincess · 14/10/2023 20:09

I'm 12 weeks and gave up on jeans weeks ago 😅

The bloating was/is pretty bad so I've only really been comfy in joggers and leggings.

Thanks @XenaTheWarriorPrincess for new thread.

I’m 14+2 and def have bump/bloat (can’t really tell the difference at the moment!) It’s goodbye to all jeans, have started wearing maternity trousers/leggings which are bliss!

dory0 · 15/10/2023 07:13

I’m 13+1 and think I’m mostly just a bit bloated! I’ve still got a bit of nausea and have been funny about clothes pressing on my stomach for weeks so have been living in leggings or loose dresses. Pleased we are heading into winter and the big cosy jumpers can be worn!

ASGIRC · 15/10/2023 07:14

I am 15+4 today and no signs of bump... My jeans still button up comfortably, but I did buy them when I was a bit heavier, and Ive lost weight during pregnancy.

But even lying in bed, and sucking in, there is nothing bulging...
If I press it, there might be something hard under many layers of fat, but it is definitely buried deep in my belly.

Butterfliesandroses · 15/10/2023 08:01

Has anyone found a good brand of maternity leggings that aren't see through? I really need to buy some, but I don't know where to start! X

sweetdreams23 · 15/10/2023 08:48

Last time I loved H&M just basic maternity leggings. They also do ones that are more like gym leggings which are thicker. Their maternity stuff is great for the basics. Once you’ve got some good maternity jeans/ leggings/ tights you may find you can just incorporate that into your normal wardrobe for the time being

CB23CB · 15/10/2023 09:37

Does anyone else just crash and burn at the weekends? I'm so busy during the week working etc that come the weekend I just have no energy and all the tiredness catches up on me!
I've showered and washed my hair this morning and now need a rest before I can be bothered to dry it! 13+4 today, the tiredness just goes on!!!!!!!!!
Happy Sunday!

BVIre · 15/10/2023 13:48

@CB23CB 100% I hadn’t that many 1st trimester symptoms or anything & I’m 14 weeks now and really feel tiredness coming on, especially coming home from work & weekends! Haven’t really had any of that until now so thought I had skipped the tiredness symptoms. Just cooked a roast dinner and feel like I could nap!

CinderRosie · 15/10/2023 15:25

Just checking in on the new thread. 13+1 today definitely have a bump as well as the old bloat. No jeans fit! Finally got the dating scan and bloods tomorrow so I’m looking forward to being able to buy some more clothes that fit once we’ve hopefully got the all clear.

theodora2146 · 15/10/2023 16:19

Just doesn't feel real to be this far after previous losses! I have my 12 week scan on Thursday this week 😱

wiedehopf · 15/10/2023 18:36

Hi everyone! I'm 14+5 today and agree with @CB23CB that something about the weekends makes me crash extra hard. Nausea mostly gone now, but I'm exhausted! Like @ASGIRC I don't have a bump at all yet -- if anything, now that I'm less bloated I look less pregnant than at 6/7/8 weeks 😅 Kinda makes me worried that it's not real, even though I had a great 12 week scan...
@theodora2146 good luck with your scan on Thursday!

Poppins2016 · 15/10/2023 19:03

Hi all, just checking into the new thread (thanks Xena)!

I'm just over 14 weeks and have a tiny bump starting to form!

sugarplum33 · 15/10/2023 20:47

13+4 and nighttime tooth brushing is still my nemesis 🤢 I was a lot sicker in my first pregnancy but I'm sure the nausea and retching had gone by this point whereas I'm still pretty peaky unless I keep up with the snacking and tooth brushing in particular sets me off every night. How is the sickness for everyone else?

sugarplum33 · 15/10/2023 20:48

Oh and the insomnia is still kicking my ass too and I was up for over 3 hours in the night with it. 🥱

ForgetMeNots24 · 15/10/2023 21:16

Hey, joining the chat. 12w+2, with my first. Feeling absolutely shattered this weekend and constantly slightly nauseous, very much looking forward to that ending!
Still doesn't feel real!

theodora2146 · 15/10/2023 21:38

Someone shared this link with me for maternity leggings, they look nice and cosy lovall.com/collections/maternity-fleece-leggings

Daisy4569 · 15/10/2023 21:47

Hi all,
Hope it’s ok if I join. I’m 13+2. Didn’t want to join until after my scan due to a previous loss. Feeling the insomnia, sickness and tiredness along with the jeans struggle!

Pinkstuffs · 16/10/2023 06:58

Just checking in from previous thread. I’m having my 12 week scan this morning (although I’m 13+1 now). So nervous especially as I’ve started having cramping last night and this morning! No bleeding so hoping it’s normal
