Hi I’m 5.5 weeks pregnant with previous miscarriages. Iv only started cramping yesterday but it’s like a period pain not heavy at all. Lost my pregnancy symptoms but have no bleeding either. Iv got a scan in a few days any one going through the same?

Hello @kateHarrison don’t want to read and run as I know how you feel, I had the exact same post a few weeks ago re. Worried about loss of symptoms. When I spoke to midwife she didn’t seem to read anything into symptoms.

I know it’s impossible but try and distract yourself until your scan xx

This might be too much information ladies but looking for some reassurance.

I had a tiny bit of bleeding on Sunday night (only on wiping) then nothing until about 5pm today … see below. No clots or cramping. I’m hoping it’s an infection given I am dry and only managing a little wee at a time.

We had a scan on Thursday measuring ahead at 11 + 1 so bit scared something has happened since then. EPAS are giving me a reassurance scan Thursday.

Anyone had similar? Is this the type of bleeding k should worry about? Xx

@Hoping4amiracle Thank you so much for the reply. Was you cramping aswell ? Iv got constant period like cramps in abdomen hoping for the best xx

@kateHarrison I had the constant cramping at the start of this pregnancy.

@Hoping4amiracle a bit better, just struggling with constipation which is driving me round the bend ha! Could the bleeding be cervix irritation? Xx

Aw constipation is the worst - especially when there’s nothing you can take for it!

i haven’t had sex in the last week - not sure what would have irritated the cervix … apart from me digging around there maybe trying to see if there was blood. I might have used a cotton bud and there was blood on it - I’m now in A&E

@Hoping4amiracle oh no! Have you been seen yet?

Still waiting - not even sure what they can do at A&E I just felt I had to see someone 🥺

@kateHarrison I had lower back period type pains for a lot of the first trimester this time round and all was well.

Finally got home at 5am but no answers - they took bloods and a urine sample. I have a UTI and low blood levels but that wouldn’t explain the vaginal bleeding.

I already had a scan booked for tomorrow which they said to wait for but managed to get a private one for today as we just have to know. Losing hope for this little one - every time I wipe it’s the same pinkish discharge and it doesn’t seem to be going away 😢. Lot of tears being cried. Xx

@Hoping4amiracle I really hope it's just down to irritation from the UTI and that all is still well with your little one <3

Hi @Hoping4amiracle, sorry you’re going through this. It’s my first time posting on this thread but I’ve been reading it for some time. I’m currently 17+3 weeks (one son 11 years and then 4 miscarriages in the last few years). I had my dating scan at 12+1 which was fine and then a few days later some pinkish when wiping and then a big bleed. I got a scan the next day and they found a subchronic heamatoma which was the cause, this was in the EPU and they didn’t seem concerned. I didn’t have any more fresh bleeding after this but old brown blood for 2 weeks and then it stopped. I had a consultant appointment this week and they couldn’t find the heamatoma anymore so it’s probably absorbed in. I hope everything goes well with you.

Thanks - I have EPU tomorrow but we did book a private scan for later this afternoon as the ‘not knowing’ is killing us.

The spotting isn’t on a pad now and I don’t have clots but it’s there’s a bit of pink discharge every time I wipe which is worrying. xx

Thankfully all was ok and we are so relieved.

They could see a haematoma on the scan and they believe that’s were the bleeding is coming from!

Main this is that the baby is ok xx

Hello you lovely bunch 👋🏼 Do you mind if I join on this thread, I haven't caught up on all of the comments yet, I have only just found this side of Mumsnet if I'm honest 😂🙏🏼 I am currently 5 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby 🌈 We have a DS who will soon be 5.... we unfortunately had a MMC in October at 9 weeks and had a D&C 😔 I am so so soooo nervous this time around, I feel sad that I don't feel the excitement and happiness that I should feeling as all I feel at the moment is worry things might not be going right 🙏🏼 My test lines seem to be getting slightly stronger every 48 hours which I am over the moon about 🌙

But it's hard when everyone says it's positive to have strong lines and pregnancy symptoms as I had dye stealers with my last and was sick as a dog up until the day of my D&C 😢

Sorry for the long post, it's just nice to be able to get it out this early on when no one else knows and speak to others who have experienced the same ✨
