Tentatively seeing if anyone else is due then yet?

I got a positive digital this morning and based on Ovulation I'd be due 30th April and 2nd May based on LMP, but until the dating scan that could easily change a week either way based on previous babies!

Hi! Due 28th April based on ovulation but my last pregnancy ended in a MMC at 13 weeks so I’m trying not to think too far ahead yet 🙈

@KatieJ345 oh I'm so sorry, that is devestating!

When did you get your positive?

Hi, I think I'm due around 22nd April based on my embryo transfer date. I'm still terrified though, trying not to get ahead of myself because it's still early days

Ahh it's so scary isn't it, the first few weeks. It's nice sometimes to just have someone else going through the same things. I mentioned I was cramping a lot today and my husband freaked out! One the outside I was all, it's fine, cramping is totally normal. But inside mildly panicking - even though I know it actually IS normal.

Hi, I'm due 26th April based on ovulation - completely new to all this, it'll be our first and we weren't actively trying but decided to come off contraception a few months ago and see what happened! I have a lot to learn and it all seems quite daunting, but I'm excited. Trying not to think about it too much, nervous it won't all go to plan, but hoping for the best! Hope you are all feeling well, I don't feel any different yet but I suppose it's early days.

How is everyone feeling? How many weeks are you?

I'm 5 weeks today and still don't have any symptoms and starting to panic. All I have is cramping, I constantly have waves of period cramps 😩

Hey I’ll join
I’m a bit nervous to be on this board, it feels a bit preemptive until I’m further into the ‘safety’ part of the pregnancy
but all being well I’m due 25th April
I’m 4 weeks 2 days, I’m nauseous most days until around 2pm but nothing too bad, no vomiting or anything and I have some really light cramping

Nynm23 · 21/08/2023 09:38

Same due date as Wanderingthroughwildflowers. I only tested on Saturday so still very early days - dtd on day 20 of my cycle, we were not actively trying - so the saying ‘it only takes once’ which my mother had on repeat my whole teenage years actually was right in our case.

We were going to start trying in October so we as ready as one can be, but still a bit surprised/in disbelief. Obviously very lucky and understand that is not the case for everyone 💕

In terms of symptoms some light cramping and a horrible metallic taste in my mouth which is what drove me to do a test! But other than that, still feel myself and made it to the gym this morning, which I’m to try to continue as long as I can.

Congratulations @Maplestars and @Nynm23 that's great news! It's and exciting but scary journey to be on.

I had my bloods done on Friday and hcg levels of 1222. I decided to try a clearblue dated test and got pregnant 3+ weeks which has made me feel better must mean my levels are going up and the little bean is sticking

Maplestars · 21/08/2023 11:41

Thanks! It feels a bit strange, I haven’t told the drs yet, and no one except DH knows so I can’t really talk to anyone about anything.

thats great on your bloods! My clear blue said 1-2 weeks which made me a bit nervous but I read somewhere else it’s ok. Just have to wait and see.!

KatieJ345 · 21/08/2023 12:21

@Maplestars I’m also 4+2 and my clear blue says 1-2 weeks still. I don’t really have any symptoms apart from cramps so am a little bit worried.

Thank you @Belle26 Congrats @Maplestars @KatieJ345. When do you tell the docs? I suddenly feel a bit clueless.

I also just remembered I donated blood last week, so had to call the clinic in case that affected the donation! Turns out it doesn’t, they just wouldn’t have allowed me to donate if I had of known I was pregnant.

Belle26 · 21/08/2023 12:58

@Maplestars it's perfectly normal to have 1-2 weeks on a clear blue at this stage. I read it all depends on your hcg levels.

@KatieJ345 I've been cramping a lot too. I think it's normal it's just your uterus expanding and baby implanting deeper. I'm trying not to panic about it to much, I keep reminding myself there's no blood so there's no need to worry but it's so hard 🙈

@Nynm23 I'm not really sure when you tell your gp. I would give them a call and get booked with a midwife. My journey might be a little different because I did IVF so I'm with the fertility clinic until 8 weeks. They do an early scan at 7 weeks then if all OK I'm released from the clinic and can arrange appointments with the NHS after that

@KatieJ345 thank you, I think it’s normal to not have symptoms, think about all the women who don’t even realise they’re pregnant yet. If I didn’t know, I wouldn’t think much of mine (besides the missed period obviously), they’re not that strong.
and I have cramps too, I read it’s normal

@Nynm23 im not sure about when to tell the drs, I was thinking 5 or 6 weeks. It does say to do it straight away though.

@Nynm23 due date buddies! We are the same, not actively trying but off contraception and seeing what happened.

I haven't contacted GP yet, although I think I just have to self refer online via local NHS midwife service so might not have to contact GP at all? I'm not really sure.

Hi ladies. I hope you don't mind if I join you. BFP on Saturday on cheap internet tests then on a clearblue digital. Haven't got my GP app until next week. Due April 28th but, if all goes well, I'll likely be delivered earlier by csection(only had my first by csection in January). Total surprise for us but we are getting our heads around the idea. Wishing you all so much luck 🍀

Hiya! I think we chatted on the TTC thread! I’m due 28th April based on LMP, but I think maybe 26th April based on ovulation, so I’m going with the earlier one 😁

Self referral here too, but because it’s NI (prehistoric health care infrastructure) the self referral form is an uneditable PDF, meaning you either 1. Have to print it off then, fill it in, scan and email it to them 2. Wait for them post a paper form or 3. Drive to the hospital and pick one up.. I can sense I’m going to be wildly frustrated throughout 😂

Hello all :)

I think I'm the latest due here 🙈 but I like to be positive when pregnant and just tell myself all is ok until I have reason to not think so.

Doing okay here - similar to you, I’m getting the waves of cramps too which is making me nervous. Keep feeling like my period is about to start. Baby number 1 so no idea what to expect with all of this!

5 weeks here and due around 22nd April. I have had nausea on and off (it went away for two days which scared me but is back so I've learnt to trust things come and go), tiredness, metallic taste, light cramps and sore boobs. I self referred to the hospital. It is my first so I panicked and googled what to do. Know it is very early days so just hoping it all keeps going ok.

I wasn't going to but then got tempted into an early scan at 7 weeks to try and ease anxiety so have that in two weeks time.

Exciting but nerve wracking times.

@Finn33 Wow congrats what a surprise for you both. Sending you lots of luck too 😊hope your appointment goes well next week

@Nynm23 @WanderingthroughWildflowers also wondering here what to do about the first booking appointment. I think I need to self refer to maternity services rather than through GP. I haven’t done it yet though as still processing everything!

Same here, I really need to stop googling everything it's just adding to the anxiety 🙈
Are you planning on doing an early scan?
