Hello!

I got a BFP this morning and think that I am approximately 4 weeks pregnant.
Whilst I am of course delighted, I had a chemical pregnancy last month and so my initial elation has quickly been replaced with fear and wishing that I didn't know so early!

Just wondering if there is anyone in the same boat? If really appreciate some company and morale support during the wait!

Thank you x

I’m not pregnant (yet, here’s to hoping!) but congratulations! ❤️

peaky297 · 06/08/2023 20:03

@Newandtrying thank you ♥️
All the very best to you - hope you get your BFP soon 🤞 x

Hi @peaky297 I'm 9dpo so still hoping for that BFP in the next few days! But if I am (theoretically speaking) i use the flo app and it says Due date of April 19th if I conceive on this cycle!
How many days PO did you get your BFP?

peaky297 · 06/08/2023 20:08

Hi @jenn88 - firstly, good luck for this month, I hope it's your time!!
I got my BFP this morning at10/11dpo after a negative yesterday morning.
Do you have any symptoms? X

OP posts:
jenn88 · 06/08/2023 20:17

That's good news for me! I have some more sensitive tests coming tomorrow at 10 DPO so I'm hopeful but trying not to get to ahead of myself!!
Will you keep testing as the lines get darker?

jenn88 · 06/08/2023 20:18

Also symptom wise. Bloating, tiredness but insomnia at night (DP has been away so that never helps my sleep!) some cramping and heavy feelings in my uterus area? What have you had?
Oh and a few waves of nausea!

Ttcmumma · 06/08/2023 20:45

Hey Hun, I found out I'm pregnant on Sunday and was only due af sometime between Friday and Monday. So found out super early and kind of regret it too 😅 I had a 14 week MMC in January so unbelievably anxious that I'm going to lose this one too. Definitely know how you feel x

peaky297 · 06/08/2023 20:56

@jenn88 all sounds very positive!! Will you test tomorrow morning? Let us know how it goes if so! And yes, I will more than likely keep testing as it's the only reassurance I can get for now 😵‍💫

@Ttcmumma
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss - 14 weeks must have been so very hard.
Well we can be nervous together (and hopefully have healthy pregnancies and babies together!).how are you feeling? Any symptoms?

OP posts:
Ttcmumma · 06/08/2023 21:00

@peaky297 hopefully so! My symptoms come and go which don't help the worry lol. Most mornings I cannot brush my tongue anymore 🤢, tender breasts to varying degrees daily, lost my appetite so much so, I haven't even told my partner im pregnant yet and he got very suspicious earlier that I didn't want any chocolate lol and some mild cramping which I'm hoping is just everything happening in there!

How are you feeling besides anxious?

peaky297 · 06/08/2023 21:13

Sounds like you have a few bits going on!
Are you going to tell your partner? Mine would def think something was up if I said no to chocolate 😂

Same with mine being inconsistent - boobs sore to varying degrees, spells of tiredness and intermittent cramps / a pinching sensation on the sides low down. No nausea as of yet - think that started around 6/7 weeks with my first.

Ttcmumma · 06/08/2023 21:29

@peaky297 yeah I will of course haha I think I need to get my head around it first myself. Its a lot to process after a loss.

Ah yeah you sound similar to me, I think a lot of people have no symptoms at this stage tbh. I kind of find comfort in the symptoms tho 😅

Plumchumm · 07/08/2023 03:58

Hi, I got my bfp 2nd of August, so I’m due in April too. This is my first baby :)

glad to hear I’m not the only one super anxious. I’m 15dpo today and tested positive at 11dpo, but still doing pregnancy tests because I’m currently obsessed with checking progression. I still haven’t got 1-2 weeks on digital indicator 😭 but I did get a faint line on the 25miu tests. (Was testing with early 10miu ones before)

good luck to us!

Plumchumm · 07/08/2023 03:58

Also my symptoms so far are just heavy sore boobs, and kinda lost my appetite completely/feel queasy here and there. Also very tired

2020newbie · 07/08/2023 08:18

Cautiously joining. Got a bfp today at 9dpo and will be due between 19-21 April. I ovulated a little later than usual this cycle. Have a 20 month old already

peaky297 · 07/08/2023 08:55

@Ttcmumma completely understand - hopefully you will feel ready to share your news in a few days all being well.

@2020newbie and @Plumchumm welcome and congratulations!! How are you both feeling?

I did another test this morning as I am also keen to check line progression - probably not helping my fear or paranoia in reality, but I need to feel like I'm doing something! 🙈😂

Couldn’t help myself done a clear blue digital and I’m definitely pregnant

peaky297 · 07/08/2023 09:10

@2020newbie lovely news! I feel like it's official when a digital comes back positive! How exciting!

I've got a digital in my bathroom cabinet ready to go - think I'll go for it tomorrow morning! I know they are less sensitive than the tests I've been using so don't want to freak myself out by using one too soon!

OP posts:
2020newbie · 07/08/2023 09:16

@peaky297 it does feel very real once you see it on a digital. To be honest I think they’re as sensitive now a days. I done two line ones that are so faint

peaky297 · 07/08/2023 09:23

@2020newbie will have a go tomorrow morning 🤞

Would be nice to have the reassurance as I feel like todays test line isn't any darker than yesterdays...? Is that normal with cheapie tests?
Yesterday was 10dpo, today 11dpo

@peaky297 they look like good lines congratulations! When will you be due?

peaky297 · 07/08/2023 09:33

@2020newbie 11th April is my due date from LMP, but I ovulated late so suspect in reality it may be a few days after that. Here's hoping for healthy sticky babies! My daughter was born in December, so will be nice to have a spring baby this time!

Yolo2023 · 07/08/2023 09:35

Jumping on 😁 according to goodle my due date is the 14th April BUT I've had a 2-3 week clear blue 2 days before my AF and a BFP on a super drug early detection 9 days before AF. It was a real squinted but it was there. So am I further gone than I am, who knows suppose will know when I go for a private scan in 2 weeks. This will be my 4th baby, its not my first rodeo but on my other pregnancies I have a very rough idea when I ovulated so knew exactly when book a scan not this time. I had a wierd period in July was 5 days late and only lasted 2 days I put it down to taking the morning after pill in June.

peaky297 · 07/08/2023 10:16

Welcome
@Yolo2023 and congratulations!!
I think I'll be booking an early private scan too - had one with our daughter and it was reassuring! How are you feeling?

So after the easy at home cheapie tests didn't show any line progression I did another of the boots ones... think todays is a bit darker on those despite it being second morning urine? X
