Hello!

I got a BFP this morning and think that I am approximately 4 weeks pregnant.
Whilst I am of course delighted, I had a chemical pregnancy last month and so my initial elation has quickly been replaced with fear and wishing that I didn't know so early!

Just wondering if there is anyone in the same boat? If really appreciate some company and morale support during the wait!

Thank you x

@bettyha - I'm about 4 weeks give or take I think. My cycles aren't 100% regular and I'm pretty sure I ovulated on the later side.
Everyone is different symptom wise I think and I wouldn't take a lack of symptoms as a worry at this point. You may well be riddled with them in a couple of weeks time 😂

@faban so exciting!! That will be here before you know it!

@jenn88 congratulations and welcome!!

Ps - caved and took a digital. As of this moment I am def pregnant ♥️🌈

I can see something @claireemma88

jodie000 · 07/08/2023 18:47

@peaky297 congratulations! I am also 4 wks, first pregnancy, unbelievably on the first time trying, within a month of getting my coil removed. Can't get my head around it yet as I had/have no expectations and I know everyone's journey is not straightforward. Friends around me have had early losses. I am worried about pretty much everything and things I don't know - which is a lot! But trying to go with the flow and slowly learning from others here xxx

Good morning ladies!
I thought it would be nice to check in most days during this critical first few weeks to make sure that everyone is ok... how are you all? X

Hi ladies hope it's okay to join!
Think I'm slightly further than some of yous. Currently 5+5 after my first round of IVF and a 5 day transfer. Finally got my 3+ on a clearblue yesterday :) it's my first pregnancy but I currently have a 19 month old DD who my wife carried last time.
Symptom wise I don't have many atm which is worrying me.. period like cramps that come and go. Rather than nausea I've been a lot more hungry than usual and craving salty foods! The sickness didn't kick in for my wife until 6.5 weeks so I'm thinking I might have it all to come yet and enjoying food while I can!
Got my 7 week scan booked for next Thursday. I think this 3ww for the scan is a lot more nerve-wracking than the 2ww.

cdn298 · 08/08/2023 08:58

Morning I'm feeling good! Just very tired 😴

Was wondering.. obviously I'm taking folic acid but can't remember if I need to swap to pregnacare now?x

Yolo2023 · 08/08/2023 09:10

@peaky297 Ithe same really tired spotty and nausea on and off. Im worried about flying next week I go on holiday. I have googled it says its ok but still a worry isn't it

cdn298 · 08/08/2023 09:11

@Yolo2023 I'm really spotty as well actually!x

jeepjeep4 · 08/08/2023 10:09

Morning everyone I've done the self referral to the midwife today has anyone else? Didn't know whether to wait to nearer six weeks but thought best to be organised (and optimistic) as I remember my last pregnancy the appointments took a while to be booked in.

Ttcmumma · 08/08/2023 10:13

@jeepjeep4 I've done it too, I spoke to th doctor as soon as I found out as I have high prolactin and was worried about that causing miscarriage. I asked if it was too early to self refer and she said no, you do it as soon as you get a positive test x

Ttcmumma · 08/08/2023 10:21

Are these dye stealers or invalid tests? I'm only about 4 weeks 4 days so thought it may be a little early x

jodie000 · 08/08/2023 13:31

@Yolo2023 same about skin breakouts! I have just taken a flight and was surprisingly ok, just had lots of different snacks to nibble on just in case, water to sip, fruit etc.
@jeepjeep4 @Ttcmumma My local hospital has a 'register your pregnancy' online form but states you must be at least 6 weeks (I'm 4) my village GP advised me to attend their walk in clinic or phone the early pregnancy unit at the hospital. So you think I should phone or wait another 2 weeks?

Ttcmumma · 08/08/2023 13:45

@jodie000 I just got my booking and first scan appointment sent to me, I'm only 4 weeks 5 days. It's all for the correct times too, when I'd be about 8 weeks and then 12 for the scan x
