Finally managed to speak with my doctor regarding nausea, he's prescribed me promethazine teoclate. Has anyone taken this for sickness/nausea?

I’m okay, but you know how it is when your so hormonal and really trying not to cry when someone’s being a dick!
Glad you’re okay, ugh yes know exactly what you mean. Good for you for going to hr, hopefully they’ll be all over it as it opens them up to a legal minefield if that behaviour continues!!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last 2 weeks nausea hasn’t been as bad. I thought I’d sussed that as long as I didn’t let myself get too hungry I was okay. Today it’s back with a vengeance.

How can something so small cause you to feel so crap 😫

Does anyone else feel like they look really pregnant already? I'm 8w4d and i honestly feel I look about 6 months pregnant! It's my second but surely a bump doesn't come this early and it must all be bloat somehow even though it feels hard 🤔

@Silverpixieflorence does yours come and go or is it permanent? I bloat but it comes and goes. In the evening I can look six months pregnant but by the morning it's flat stomach again

@SmartiesParty it's permanent! Unless I'm just bloated all day every day I think it might be here to stay 😅

@Mummapenguin20 yes exactly the same as me! I went into the office yesterday (normally work from home) and I swear people were looking at my stomach 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi all

I've been very quiet on the thread cause I've been having major anxiety in the lead up to my 12 week scan which was on Friday.

Some of you may remember I opted not to have an early private scan, despite lack of symptoms and I am so glad I waited and trusted my body cause it was just perfect! Thought I was 12+3 but they dated me at 12+1 so pretty much bang on and I am now due February 8th. Baby was wriggling around so much and even turned to wave to us it was so cute! Amazing to think all that is happening and I can't feel a thing!

I feel I didn't really take it all in cause I was in so much pain dying for a wee! But I think it was more anxious tension. I burst into tears as soon as she said 'well there's definitely a baby there'.

Wishing everyone the best of luck with their scans and pregnancies.

@Strawberry06 how amazing!! I should be 12+1 on 16th August for my 12 week scan and honestly I am struggling with anxiety and I know I will be a wreck on the lead up to it, the closer it gets! Cannot wait to reach that milestone and have it out in the open to make it feel more real!

Also good news here :) baby would be 10 weeks by LMP but measured 9+5 today so that puts my due date at 28th February! Leap year baby haha. No sign of the haemorrhage from 3 weeks ago 🎉🎉🎉

@User0224 Congrats on your lovely scan, baby looks so snug in there. I know a couple of people with leap year birthdays and they really enjoy the novelty of it.

Hi All

Hope you don't mind me joining the thread. I have been holding off as after a successful pregnancy with no complications in 2019 we have had 3 losses (9,12,8) all MMC since. I am under Dr. S in Epson with a complex plan but went today for my 10+6 (according to LMP) and baby was measuring 11+4 this is the furthest we have got since or son. I feel ready to try and be positive this might be our rainbow baby.

I have been reading the group and its lovely to see all your stories and no I am not alone. got my 12 week scan with the NHS on the 7th so will have my due date then hopefully xx

I’m in tomorrow morning 11.5 but so so anxious, I slept so bad last night just kept having dreams of the dr turning to say there’s no heartbeat 😔 I really hope if all is ok I can start to relax and start to believe it’s real

I had a dream on the Thursday night a week before my scan. Baby was ok but then I started random bleeding everywhere - like all over the floor like something from a horror movie! Nurse said it was fine cause we'd just seen the baby. It was horrible though and so vivid. I've read these dreams can happen!

Try to relax, I know its horrible though. My bladder was so full for mine it was literally all I could think about in the end!

I'm 12+2 and feeling pretty normal now apart from tiredness still.
Bloating etc has gone so my stomach is feeling 'back to normal' which is freaking me out as if there's nothing in there 😂

I'm still heavily bloated and the past 2 weeks I've been getting heartburn more frequently - especially at night.

I think my waist is thickening as especially round the sides it feels hard!

Hi lovely ladies! I had my 12 week scan today and dated 12+5 and my due date is Feb 7th so predicted corrected. Baby was bouncing around and I cried with joy. Here is the scan pic, anyone want to have a guess at the sex, feel free, my family think it’s a boy 🤷🏿‍♀️

Oh wow how do you tell? Just gone back to look at my scan and it's kind of an indistinct face, can't see a nub (prob wouldn't recognise it if I did) and some waving limbs.
