Finally managed to speak with my doctor regarding nausea, he's prescribed me promethazine teoclate. Has anyone taken this for sickness/nausea?

Glad you’re okay, ugh yes know exactly what you mean. Good for you for going to hr, hopefully they’ll be all over it as it opens them up to a legal minefield if that behaviour continues!!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last 2 weeks nausea hasn’t been as bad. I thought I’d sussed that as long as I didn’t let myself get too hungry I was okay. Today it’s back with a vengeance.

How can something so small cause you to feel so crap 😫

Does anyone else feel like they look really pregnant already? I'm 8w4d and i honestly feel I look about 6 months pregnant! It's my second but surely a bump doesn't come this early and it must all be bloat somehow even though it feels hard 🤔

@Silverpixieflorence does yours come and go or is it permanent? I bloat but it comes and goes. In the evening I can look six months pregnant but by the morning it's flat stomach again

@SmartiesParty it's permanent! Unless I'm just bloated all day every day I think it might be here to stay 😅

@Mummapenguin20 yes exactly the same as me! I went into the office yesterday (normally work from home) and I swear people were looking at my stomach 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thanks for all the info on the cats, I think we'll do that, lock them out a few weeks before baby time. I think the girl wouldn't be too interested in a baby but our tomcat is a curious little rascal and he loves to burrow under any and all blankets. I think a cot or moses basket would be very enticing to him.

It sounds really odd but apparently set the Moses basket up a little early and put tin foil in it. It'll be noisy and not soft and put them off going in it once they've tried a couple of times.

I don't have cats though, a friend mentioned the above. I have a rescue dog who has been amazing with my little boy though, despite not liking many children

@Meeting I confess I only drink half the water they suggest and have been fine! Nothing worse than someone prodding you whilst you're holding it!

@amyg1985 I have to agree, in fact when I went for my early scan at 10+5 the sonographer commented on how great my full bladder was and I'd only had a 500ml bottle of water!

I drank far too much before mine I was in so much pain I literally couldn't walk properly. She even suggested I empty my bladder before the scan cause but I said as long as she was doing it straight away id be fine. Then I couldn't get off the table properly cause it hurt. It was the longest after wee ever!

For my 8 week the scan centre only said a pint 40s before and said I had a full bladder. The NHS wants two pints an hour before - I'd pee myself before the scan. I do make sure I drink loads in the 24 hrs before as didn't do that for a scan and I was dehydrated even after drinking so bladder was empty.

Hello all, I’ve found you again ☺️. Lovely to hear all the news on scans. I also had a quick scan yesterday before harmony bloods. Still measuring bang on- 10+4 weeks yesterday. Also got a photo of the little frog legs 😆. Any guesses on sex, sonographer is predicting boy. I’m in shock as thought I only made girls 🫢😅.

Just had scan, baby is doing fine. They have found a hematoma which explains the bleeding but sonographer wasn’t concerned. Measuring at 12+6weeks🤗

Such a relief, had my scan this morning, measuring 11 +5 and doing back flips 😂 feel like I can breath again (for a few days🙈) 🎉

When are people planning to make it public if they are? We've not told his family yet but we will be seeing them next Wednesday by which I'll be 14 weeks. Told me friend and she said 'are you gonna tell them, do you not want to wait a bit?' and its got me wondering if I should wait!
