@DrinkingAllTheGin eat of luck for tomorrow, let me know how you get on, sending you lots of luck

Marmiteontoastyum · 27/11/2022 21:31

@firsttimelondonmummy Im really knackered. I don’t know if it’s coz I’m older. I’m 37 this time. Was 28 with my DD. I find I’m napping when she’s at school sometimes.

This is an IVF pregnancy and I’ve really been feeling the symptoms of cyclogest now (wind, diarrhoea). My nurse said it’s okay to stop a little early.

So then just the ongoing waves of nausea, exhaustion and bloating to deal with. Lol. 😂

The only symptom I haven’t got this time is hives. I had that all over my body with DD. I mean really it was insane. In childbirth I looked ridiculous. Well I seem to have avoided it this time. But maybe it’ll come in a few weeks.

@DrinkingAllTheGin Good luck tomorrow!! Be lovely to see bubba picture 👶

PrincessLeia22 · 27/11/2022 21:32

I’ve been experiencing awful insomnia - not even waking up needing to go to the bathroom, just consistently waking at 3/4am and being completely unable to get back to sleep. It’s definitely impacting my energy levels and productivity at work - some days I’m a total zombie.

Is anyone else doing a Harmony test? I had one eight days ago and still now results…

Marmiteontoastyum · 27/11/2022 21:33

@BobbySD345 Defos marmite on toast for the win! I’m living on marmite on toast! I’ve always loved it but it’s a massive craving too now 😂

DrinkingAllTheGin · 27/11/2022 21:35

I'm very much looking forward to sharing my pic.
I had lost my last pregnancy by this stage last year. Just want to see a wriggly little bubba.

Marmiteontoastyum · 27/11/2022 21:44

@DrinkingAllTheGin 💐 I know exactly how you feel. Our last IVF cycle ended in a miscarriage on Boxing Day last year. What comforts me is statistics. It’s very unlikely to happen again. 🌈 👶 ❤️

dresslol · 27/11/2022 22:13

@PrincessLeia22 i did the panorama test and got the results back on Thursday just gone. Good luck for your results, hope you don’t have to wait too much longer.

fifi113 · 28/11/2022 08:23

Hey everyone hope everyone's feeling good today, good luck to those having scans and waiting for test results!

I had my 12 week scan on Friday, I was dated at 13 weeks instead so June 2nd due date which is exciting! Everything else was perfect apart from it being quite uncomfortable as he was really digging in my tummy to get all the measurements 😩

As soon as I got home I had spotting till the following morning and I was so scared but thankfully it's stopped I wonder if it could've been caused by the ultrasound?

@PrincessLeia22 I'm exactly the same especially the past few weeks I've not been able to go back to sleep after waking up around 3 am and then my toddlers up at 6 so it's been really hard 😭

Zaalfruit · 28/11/2022 08:27

Any one else doing the diabetics gd test . For some reason I have been given it for this upcoming week via a letter ? I thought it was meant to be done past 20 weeks? Confused !!!

tigerlily0 · 28/11/2022 10:09

@Marmiteontoastyum I was literally up at 4am went for a wee and sat in the dark eating a dry cracker thinking my body already feels broken. My SPD has defo come earlier and this time in my pubic bone, I'm already huffing and puffing and I'm walking like a penguin. I'm only 14 weeks.

And iv put it down to age also, and this is my third at age 37. And with my other 2 I was 28 and 30. They do say it's harder when ure older and I totally get it. I was just as sick last time but used to go to work for 8 hrs straight on my feet, now I have to sit /lie down every hour it seems!

MrsP4 · 28/11/2022 10:21

Nub isn't very clear but looks like a boy to me! Congrats on the scan 😊

MrsP4 · 28/11/2022 10:42

@Algor1thm Ahh thank you! She said my bladder wasn't as full as they'd like so image couldn't get any clearer but I was busting for a wee so no way I could've drank anymore x

Zaalfruit · 28/11/2022 10:49

@MrsP4 thats a way clearer pic than mine! Are you going to find out the gender during your 20 weeks scan. Also I have no clue about nub theory !

( So I already have a daughter and everyone wants this next one to be a boy - so I'm really nervous about finding out the gender - what if no likes baby number 2 because its a girl - I will be happy with either )

@tigerlily0 that must be so painful with SPD , I really hope it eases . Sending you well wishes. Can you take anything to help with the Spd pain? (I'm older this time and I can feel the difference too - my hips started to hurt way faster and I don't have that glowly look)

MrsP4 · 28/11/2022 10:51

@Zaalfruit Ahh really! Let's see yours, yes we're going to find out this time around as we had a surprise last time we're gonna have a private gender scan on Christmas Eve and having family round Christmas Eve night so will tell everyone then, everyone wants a big for us too because we have a girl but I'm really not bothered my little girl keeps saying she wants a sister so I'd love a sister for her xx

Ahh that's lovely! ❤️ I think your having a boy 💙

Zaalfruit · 28/11/2022 11:20

This is the blurry pics … my scan took like an hour . I had to drink more water , then sprite and do jumping jacks . The nub was facing the wrong way for ages .

Also the nub looks way different than my first baby - my first baby was way smaller and more pronounced . I am worried :/

Has it always said goose specificially on the NHS website? My mum has ordered a goose for Christmas. Fairly sure it will be farmed though - surely they won't be shooting them?? So it will be fine right? If I end up with no meat as well as no wine it is very likely there will be tears... 😂

Anyone else started to think of baby names? I've tried not too as still haven't had my first scan but can't help but run names though my head.

I like Charlotte and penelope or matilda for a girl and I like all the names they can be shorted too ( lotte, penny, tilly or tilda) and for a boy I like Frederick but don't like Freddie 😂 really struggling with boy names

AstroH · 28/11/2022 12:19

Loving all of the scan pics! 🥰🥰🥰

I just got home from mine and now I’m knackered! Found it really stressful with all the measurements. I think I also had a student so he kept asking the other doctor about things & I got into a huge panic that something was wrong. Everything was fine though and a very low risk of Downs etc. Due date is 3rd June which is spot on from when we conceived, I think. At the end they booked my 20 week and 34 week scan.

Hoping now I might be able to relax into it a bit more and get excited about Christmas 🎄

AstroH · 28/11/2022 12:20

Oh and here is the pic 🤦🏽‍♀️

My scan pic is scary 😂😂😂😂😂 I think I had a newbie - she pressed so hard , I thought I would wet my pants !

Loving the scan pics - my nub is measuring small, I know in the pics nub looks huge . I have to see a consultant on Monday :(
