@annlee3817 oh lovely I hope you and little one will be ok!!! Xx

Sweetbabydust1989 · 03/11/2022 10:04

Well we have some progression happening I have been given my own health visitor now finally no calling their poxy call centre and speaking to around 20 different people.. doctors finally admitted to having her letter from the dietitian bet that was a bitter pill for them to swallow.. they got caught out big time.. they have sorted her prescription out for her milk thickener and I will find out tomorrow if they have sorted her referral out when we go for her jabs.. she is being weighed today so we can finally get her medication adjusted.. my little lady slept so well last night and the night before she is finally back to her every 3 hour fed now oz's are still up in the air but shall finally settle when we sort the reflux out!! Scared for her jabs tomorrow hope she doesn't have a reaction.. I feel like I can finally breath a bit now.. she is so happy she smiles so much and even tries to laugh.. unfortunately she still hates her play mat but finally loves her swing xx

annlee3817 · 05/11/2022 03:48

Great news @Sweetbabydust1989

Sweetbabydust1989 · 14/11/2022 16:42

How is everyone doing all our little ones must be coming on for 12 weeks soon!!! Trying to keep the threat alive as it definitely is my life line!!! Weight is starting to grate on me now with my boys I was back in my jeans however this little lady I am not I feel like a house hoping it will start to drop off now I am more active xx

LittlemissMama67 · 14/11/2022 20:40

Doing well but missed daughters first jabs and check up today. Thought tommorow was the 14th! 😫 heads up my arse I blame sleep deprivation.

LittlemissMama67 · 14/11/2022 20:41

And weight loss is meh. Gonna wait till the year now and just enjoy all the food over Christmas, we have just had babies after all

Sweetbabydust1989 · 14/11/2022 23:46

@LittlemissMama67 those first jabs are awful my little one had a delayed reaction to them so was poorly for over a week 😩 me and the other half have called it a day it's been a long time coming he was great when she first arrived but then his narcissistic personality came out of nowhere it's been hard going I have been fat shamed he barely helps with her at all I have to pretty much ask permission to go out on my own as he won't change the nappies it's been hell if I am honest I am so sleep deprived he isn't a nice person at all xx

Butterflytulip · 15/11/2022 03:41

@Sweetbabydust1989 I'm so sorry to hear this, I hope you are ok. From what youv said it sounds like you would be happier without him. Youv had a tough and stressful ride since your daughter was born and you deserve love and support.
Weight is just yuk!! I'm back to pre pregnancy weight but feel like I shouldn't drop calories as I'm breast feeding. Anyone here successfully dropped without affecting supply? I'd highly recommend my fitness pal for calorie tracking, it's helped to control me!!! I'm trying to be good now so I can have a blow out over Christmas 😂😂

Butterflytulip · 15/11/2022 04:20

I feel like a new woman!
Little one had a bath and feed and slept from 9-3!! I went to bed at 1030 so I got 4.5 hrs interrupted sleep!!! How's everyone's little ones sleeping? We are just over a cold so this is amazing!!

Aww bless you, sometimes you've just got to make that decision for the good of you and you're baby. You'll be okay and much better off in the long run. I left my sons dad when he was 5 months old (DV) I put up with it for longer than I should have because I was young (20) and thought I needed to stay with his dad, as if I was failing him if his parents split up. But god I can't Imagine how horrendous my life would be now if I'd never left. Now my son is almost 8, we spent a few years just me and him but now I'm engaged to a lovely man and have just had my second daughter with him. I'm thankful everyday I have the courage to pack up and leave that sorry excuse for a man child.

LittlemissMama67 · 15/11/2022 07:59

It's 8 years later and I have not owned a set of kitchen knifes since 2015. He went bat shit one night because he got beat on his game (my fault 🙄 obviously) and I hid the kitchen knifes because I honestly felt as though me and my son were in serious danger. The next day I called my dad to come get us. And I never took the knifes with me. I've never wanted a new set since. I've always felt like I was safer not having them in the house. I've asked for a set for Christmas this year. Finally over it I think! Also I'm just so sick of cutting veg and meat with a bloody cutlery knife 😂😂

Butterflytulip · 15/11/2022 09:57

@LittlemissMama67 sorry to hear youv been through that but on the flip side well done you for taking charge and getting out of that situation. I was in a similar situation walking on egg shells. He walked out in the end because I never had the strength to not be ashamed of a failed marriage. Fast forward 10 years and I'm a different person and all for the better. The pain is short term and the gain is something special xx

Sweetbabydust1989 · 16/11/2022 00:07

@LittlemissMama67 @Butterflytulip it was the right decision it was getting mentally exhausting and I kinda feel much better already like no more egg shells and it's like he is jealous of our baby well unfortunately baby needs more attention than anyone my other children even understand it more than him.. I am sick of having to ask permission for doing the most basic things it's ridiculous it's weird as he wasn't like this before.. he wasn't very engaging during the pregnancy I kinda did it on my own surprised he came to the birth 🤦🏻‍♀️ I am mentally exhausted have really high blood pressure. I no I have changed I have a newborn and the wicked witch is on her broomstick heading my way I really wish I was pregnant again I took it for granted I just wanted it to hurry up so I could meet my rainbow baby but I no this will be my last kinda have a touch of depression and ptsd.. excuse me I am sleep deprived and a blubbering mess shame I can't blame it on pregnancy hormones 😂 xx

CLC22 · 20/11/2022 21:42

Hi hope your all doing well ❣️, bit of advice please cos I’m panicking something is seriously wrong. I had my daughter 11 weeks ago and I’ve still not had a period 😕 I’m not breastfeeding and not pregnant, is this normal? As with my son it returned within 6 weeks x

Sweetbabydust1989 · 21/11/2022 07:35

@CLC22 apparently it can be normal for periods to not return straight away if you're breastfeeding it happened to my SIL I couldn't breastfeed so I have had 2 periods already how I don't miss those things xx

LittlemissMama67 · 21/11/2022 08:00

I'm unsure sorry, I've had 2 already but they're extremely heavy and only last 3 days which has never been the norm for me. I don't know if this is the new cycle my body has fallen into but it used to be moderate for 5 days. Don't know which is prefer to be honest but it is what it is 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sweetbabydust1989 · 13/12/2022 20:05

I want to keep this thread alive.. so how is everyone doing I bet all the September babies are getting so big and showing their little personalities now.. makes me a little sad my girl is getting bigger especially as we lost so much time sorting her milk allergy out.. she is doing loads better now getting the smiles and laughing it's so cute she is also sleeping longer now.. I honestly cannot believe this time last year I was peeing on ovulation sticks and DTD and now we have a beautiful girl awaiting Santa to come I feel so blessed 💖 xx

I was thinking about this thread the other day and how everyone is getting on! I'm completely the same, can't believe that she's 3 months old - feel like I've blinked and the time has flown. How're you? X

Sweetbabydust1989 · 14/12/2022 11:22

@dkedm15 iam getting there finally getting her milk allergy under control it's taken roughly 12 weeks to sort out she is finally being referred to the children's hospital in London after a very painful 3 months that put me in hospital with a 196 blood pressure reading aswell as undiagnosed preeclampsia that was never picked up even though I had high blood pressure and swollen legs and feet for months 🤦🏻‍♀️ it was also the stress of dealing with incompetent professionals.. took 7 doctors to diagnose her and 6 milk changes within a 3 week period the poor girl was so unwell wheezy and screaming in pain and with the worst rash I have ever seen and they kept saying it was colic, reflux and baby acne I just feel like I have lost such precious time with my rainbow baby but I need to remind myself that our bond is so so strong now we have been through all this.. she is such a happy girl.. how is your little one doing?? Cannot believe it's there first xmas!! I am coming up to the anniversary of my second ectopics due date have my candle at the ready which I will light for a whole day while cradling my little miracle xx

Northernerinwales · 15/12/2022 19:37

Hey everyone. I was thinking about this threat today. Let me give you all an update on my little miracle. Darcie is now 12lbs 4oz. Had terrible tongue tie and took me until she was 10 weeks old to have it separated and she is much better. Drinking 7oz bottles sleeps through the night and now has two naps through the day. I was diagnosed with PTSD and postnatal depression but now with medication I’m feeling much better. How is everyone and their babies? Xx

Hi All, sorry I've been so rubbish with checking back in on the thread.

@Sweetbabydust1989 so pleased to hear you've turned a corner.

@Northernerinwales glad you've got support and medication.

Four months next week and only two months left of Mat leave! Hard to believe time has gone so fast. Getting on better with the new formula and mixing 50/50 with breast milk, will probably continue to do that once I start work as I'll work from home three days a week. Will breastfeed on breaks etc when needed.

annlee3817 · 06/01/2023 18:00

How is everyone doing?

Sweetbabydust1989 · 06/01/2023 21:19

@annlee3817 not too bad what about yourself?? Cannot believe my girl is 18 weeks old now gone so quickly!!! How is little one doing ?? We're just awaiting my daughters 2nd referral going through for the specialist due to the first one being messed up by her 2 consultants 🙄 so the head dietitian got involved and sorted it I really hope we will be getting somewhere now xx

annlee3817 · 08/01/2023 19:59

@Sweetbabydust1989 hope you don't have to wait too long!
We're ok thanks, 19 weeks today I think, got her 12 week jabs on Wednesday, they were delayed from when she was poorly and in hospital, then we had to cancel the rescheduled ones as we were away, keen to get her up to date!

Butterflytulip · 08/01/2023 22:53
