@Chunks1376 We'll be reusing our Doona car seat from DC1 but she was pretty recent so it's not been sat in storage for very long.

I'm curious as to how a car seat could "go off"? I'd think as long as you know it's not been in any crashes it should be fine.

@Unknown6 Glad you've finally got an answer and solution! I'm quite curious to know what my haemoglobin is when I get checked in the week. If it's dropped any further I'll be getting the infusion :/

@Chunks1376 we're reusing from #2 as it's only been 2.5 years and we've just had it in the car but we binned the one from #1 as it had a bad experience in the loft so I wasn't confident it was ok. The trouble is the foam crumbles but it tends to look fine from the outside, we've seen one it happened to and it was scary how ok it looked with the covers on. How old is the seat? My rule is up to six years and stored in a place at least as dry as a car and not dropped.

@CoalCraft lucky you, I like the look of those but can't justify another car seat 😂

@CoalCraft, my haemoglobin levels are 117, so ok, if you think you have iron issues ask for the ferratin test too, it checks iron stores....mine was very low! They normally work hand in hand so I'm not sure mine weren't in correlation. It's very strange. I'm just glad to see a resting heart rate of below 100 rather than 120.

Feeling a bit sorry for myself today was at an all day wedding yesterday and completely over done it stayed until my back felt like it was breaking and my leg cramps are horrendous from being in heels all day. Spent the full day with people wanting to touch my bump, telling me how big my boobs were and saying they can't believe I still have 7 weeks to go I'm so big 😔 today I feel like all my energy has been taken away can barely get out of bed!

I just don't understand bump touchers. I've never felt the need to do it to anyone.

@Gem2811 I get the oh your bumps so big, are you going to make it to term all the time.

I have been very firm with bump touchers that I'm not ok with it!

Sorry you are feeling so tired today, but respect for wearing heels all day!

@Unknown6 thank you, I don't know how I managed it tbh 😂 my feet were so swollen when I got home so glamorous 😂

I find the bump touching very strange too, especially when it comes from people I really don't know very well. It's just do odd! You'd never normally touch a stranger's belly...

I also get both the "wow you're huge!" comments and the "you're so tiny still, can't believe your seven months!" comments depending on what I'm wearing 😂 Funnily no one feels the need to comment "you look exactly how I'd expect given you're gestation"...

😂😂 cause obviously what woman doesn't want to hear that! I don't understand the bump touching either it was all people I have met once or never at all!

I get told my bump is really small, too small for 7 months with twins, by people all the time 🙄 leave me alone! Why do you think that's useful or helpful to hear?

I had my baby shower at 32 weeks and was told I look small and about 5 months pregnant😂
It never bothered me though, as my bump is on the smaller side tbf

Anyone having nose bleeds? I had a couple of small ones but just had it happen this morning again and much more worse than before

If anyone comments on my bump and my partner is there he attempts to deflect by patting his own belly and saying he's been eating for two 😂

@Unknown6 Yes, I've been getting lots of small ones with the odd bigger one. I rang the GP but she said it wasn't concerning unless the bleeds were lasting longer than 20 minutes. I'm quite prone to them anyway, and they do get more common in pregnancy, plus I'm on aspirin which can make you more likely to bleed.

Wouldn't hurt to ring though if you're concerned xx

Starting a really successful day at work. Already misread 'entails' as email and 'academics' as alcoholics.

@ToCaden have called 3 people at work today and then said oh can't remember why I called lol.

Anyone else struggling with the constant hunger? I'm supposed to be working but instead I'm just fantasising about getting home and eating my tea 😟

I'm the other way @CoalCraft no appetite at all. But then I'm having horrendous heartburn and it's totally putting me off eating.

@Unknown6 finished for the day, and last day before maternity will be 26th July.

@CoalCraft my days veer between 'ugh I don't want to eat'and 'I'm starving.' Worst thing about the starving days is I want so much food, but my stomach is very squished and more than happy to kick out anything it decides doesn't fit. I thought it was after the baby comes when we'd deal with spit up.

Yes I swap between being starving, but then there doesn't seem to be enough room to eat much, plus doing acidic wet burps regularly :(

@Beth262 , I feel you this heartburn makes me feel sick!

I was starving about 2/ 3 weeks ago though, must be to do with growth spurts.

@Unknown6 yes me too with the sick feeling! Literally like it's burning its way back up my throat. Nothing seems to help either 😩

Yes, late morning I'm totally stuffing my face, then by the time I've had my tea in the evening I feel sooo full. I don't seem to be able to get the balance at all!

I'm honestly mostly just... Constantly hungry. It's a good thing I don't take snacks to work or I think I'd just graze all day D:
