@nearly8 there was a point where they told me I wasn't allowed to push (which was mad because it wasn't me doing it🤣). They gave me gas and air and I took one go and didn't like it so just gave it back. Apart from that I took some paracetamol during the day because I was very tired and wanted some relief from it.

nearly8 · 17/04/2022 21:55

@stimpyyouidiot awww that's lovely - I usually use just gas and air absolutely hated having the epidural when I needed the CSec. Do you plan to do the same this time round?

nearly8 · 17/04/2022 22:12

if anyone is still after a pregnancy pillow my bounty app has a voucher available until 30/04 for £11.99 which is discounted by 73% - worth a dload of the app even if only for the pillow

Yeah hope so! I managed last time ok but I'll see what happens this time. I'd like it to be a tiiiiny bit faster this time though 🤣

nearly8 · 17/04/2022 22:29

@stimpyyouidiot So do I!! There's no exact science to it as every birth/labour is different but if it's any consolation my first was my longest labour.

SoOverThisCrap · 18/04/2022 07:42

@nearly8 front and back waters? I didn't realise there was more than one type! I have no idea what mine was 🤣
I was in hospital for 4 days due to blood pressure issues. No issues at all during the pregnancy so it was quite annoying having to stay in. I was stitched up and my DD will be 6 in November 🥰

SoOverThisCrap · 18/04/2022 07:43

I have my private scan at 10am and I'm starting to feel really nervous... 😕

HaresHoping · 18/04/2022 07:58

Good luck @SoOverThisCrap I'll be thinking of you ❤️ hope it all goes smoothly, let us know how you get on xxx

HaresHoping · 18/04/2022 07:59

PS I think we need a new thread soon but I have no idea how to start one and link it to here 😅🙈 any ideas?!

SoOverThisCrap · 18/04/2022 08:13

@HaresHoping thank you. I just feel so nervous and my tummy feels in knots 😕 the build up to scans is just so anxiety inducing but I'm acting like everything is ok as DD is only 5 and DH doesn't really understand why I want a scan for reassurance 🙄🤦‍♀️ x

HaresHoping · 18/04/2022 09:29

@SoOverThisCrap yeah I remember you saying before that he doesn't really get it. I completely understand the anxiety, it's so nerve wracking. There's nothing I can say to make that better but you are firmly in my thoughts today and we're all here for a hand hold when you need it 💐 not long to wait now ♥️

SoOverThisCrap · 18/04/2022 11:17

Thank you @HaresHoping the scan was amazing and everything is progressing as it should.

SoOverThisCrap · 18/04/2022 11:18

@SoOverThisCrap CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 That is brilliant news! What lovely pictures too! I'm so pleased for you. How are you feeling now? I'm having a boy too so we can compare pics when I have my scan on Thurs 🥰

Carebear99 · 18/04/2022 11:45

Awww lovely! I'm feeling super anxious today especially as my 20w scan isn't until next Wed 27th and I haven't felt movements so I've just booked a last minute scan at 12.15pm

IzzyLeigh · 18/04/2022 12:06

I’m going to catch up on everyone’s posts from the weekend in a moment, but figured I should start a new thread asap as we were just about at thread 5’s max already!
