@annlee3817 plain Cheerios or one of the variations? I haven’t had Cheerios in so long! I can’t wait until this baby is old enough to have some so I can steal some
@stimpyyouidiot oh man, I haven’t thought about Pizza Hut pizza in ages! Such a distinct pizza
@TotoAnnihiliation nooooo! I’m so sorry to hear that it’s covid! Fingers crossed that it’ll be a mild case that’s over quickly. Rest up and take it easy mama
@madeleine85 oh, interesting! So you really did have the craving cravings! Is it actually like how they make it out to be in movies?
@amorningperson mmmm now you’ve got me thinking about olives! Especially those ones with the entire garlic clove in the middle. That sounds incredible right now
And so lucky on the food aversions! Mine were horrendous. I didn’t get sick at all, thankfully, but all of a sudden I couldn’t stand to even think about most vegetables (which was massively inconvenient what with me being vegan and all haha). Thankfully I’m over the aversions now. Well, mostly. There’s some lingering aversions. Kind of like when you get really drunk and sick on one specific drink and then just thinking about that drink makes you queasy again? That’s how I feel with certain leafy greens still. It’s such a bummer.
@Peauela what lovely scan pics! Congrats!! During my first scan they said that I had a small fibroid but that they weren’t concerned about it. I’ve had three scans since then and no one has brought it up since. Try not to worry too much unless they are worried. According to the internet, something like up to 10% of pregnant women have fibroids and about 3 in 4 women get them at some point in their lives. Small, symptomless ones (like what yours sound like) often go away on their own too.
@HaresHoping hmmm I have no experience since I only just yesterday thought I possibly felt movement for the first time (maybe). But, like stimpy said, I’ve read it’s really normal at this stage for there to be a lot of flux from week to week in what you can feel. I’ve read a lot of stories of women around our section of the second trimester who feel strongly for a week and then not at all for another week or longer. I think that if you’re stressed out about it though, that it wouldn’t hurt to call. I know you said you’re too worried in case it’s bad news, but think about how much better you’ll feel if it’s good news (which it very likely will be!)
