@mol2mum yes! 13th September oooh i've never had a due date buddy before even with my large brood I'm actually quite excited lol. I know what you mean about not feeling movements and it being unnerving but seriously until you've got a regular pattern it's pointless worrying yourself. It's usually around 24-28 weeks that they settle into a pattern (all 7 of my children were night time movers - which was highly frustrating lol) so try not to focus too much on it for now.
@Carebear99 yes! the placenta can move. I found this out with a few of my babies. Sometimes it stays put but as the uterus stretches it can cause the placenta to move too. Highly frustrating again. With my 5th baby it was all over the bloody place lol. And as my uterus stretches A LOT I'm expecting it to have moved by my scan next Wednesday.
@ShiningStarz it's only different in so far as feeling movements a bit later on but as I said to CareBear your placenta can also move so where you might not feel them now if you notice a growth spurt in your belly it could cause the placenta to move to the front, back, side and then you'll know about it lol. If it does stay at the front trust me you still feel the movements in the end!!
The strangest 'movement' for me is always when they start messing with the cord.... I can really feel it in my belly button and it feels so weird lol.
Also for any ladies who have already had babies how did you give birth? Vaginally, Elective CSec or Emergency CSec? I've had 6 vaginally and one emergency CSec (one VBAC) - The emergency one was my 6th - she was 10 days early and transverse - I got to the hospital when my contractions were only 2 mins apart so it was too late to try and turn her. However I was actually really happy she did chose to make an early appearance as she was born 10/03/2020 - 13 days before the first lockdown!! She was due the 20th. I think she knew mama bear DID NOT want to be trapped in lockdown hospital!! I had that CSec and left hospital literally 19 hours after!! If anyone wants any advice regarding any of this I'm happy to lend an ear and my experiences.
I had a homebirth for my first - I was low risk, refused induction and went into labour that day anyway. All was well. No tears at all either so I was very lucky. Hoping for another.
