Just went out for a run, and could really feel it in my hips, they felt like they'd jarred, was reading earlier in the week that your centre of gravity starts to shift at 16 weeks, so wondering if it's that, aches so much though now

annlee3817 · 17/03/2022 12:52

Hips and pelvis meant

EverydayIsPJday · 17/03/2022 12:57

Congratulations @Billymay I am really pleased the scan went well.

Mine was also this morning at what I thought was 12w exactly but I've been brought forward to 12+6! Due date now 23rd September.

EverydayIsPJday · 17/03/2022 13:04

No idea why the pics are upside down 🤦

ShiningStarz · 17/03/2022 13:16

Hahahah @EverydayIsPJday I was wondering why the pic wasn't. Very clear 😂😂😂
Congrats guys who had scans !!

ShiningStarz · 17/03/2022 13:30

@annlee3817 good on you for getting out for a run! I stopped running when pregnant with my first born, I haven't ran in 2.5 years now! I am hoping after my 16 week scan to start swimming regularly and lifting light weight and maybe some lunges and light stretching etc.. did you get the all clear for running? I know people who ran right up until birth! Rather then than me !!!

annlee3817 · 17/03/2022 13:33

@ShiningStarz got the all clear for now, but will change if my cervix doesn't behave, so making the most of it. Keeps me sane, so hoping I'll be ok to carry on, allbeit it very slowly

IzzyLeigh · 17/03/2022 13:47

congrats @EverydayIsPJday!

Congrats on the scan @EverydayIsPJday I just turned my phone upside down to see lol

Celyn22 · 17/03/2022 15:02

Congratulations to all of you having scans today! And kudos to all running pregnant ladies!

A symptom question... has anyone else noticed a change in the smell of their sweat? I can’t tell if it’s the sense of smell that’s changed (and I usually smell like this) or if it’s the hormones!? My left armpit in particular is smellier than the right and it’s so foul!
I’m washing every day and sweating from exercise (through physical work), eating well, drinking plenty of water... any ideas?

Sazzy312 · 17/03/2022 15:06

Wow scan today was amazing and they put me 6 days ahead so due date now 23rd September 💕 at least now I can explain my big belly haha

Sazzy312 · 17/03/2022 15:08

Any guesses boy or girl? I'm rubbish at guessing haha

Just back from my consultant appointment. All went well, I need to pick how I will deliver after my previous pregnancy resulted in an emergency c section. Got to see the baby which ywas good as I was worried after a fall the other far

Carebear99 · 17/03/2022 15:26

After a fall the other day. My phones auto correct is so annoying

annlee3817 · 17/03/2022 15:49

Glad you're ok @Carebear99 and that the consultant appointment went well

@Celyn22 I notice it if I don't have a shower in the morning, I use a deodorant balm which I've found to be better than sprays

@Sazzy312 I'm going to say girl, it's not perfectly straight, but inline with the spine imo

TotoAnnihiliation · 17/03/2022 16:01

I bought myself a pregnancy pillow. Now I'm lying comfortably eating haribo tangfastics. Life is good!

My hips and knees are starting to hurt, I took that as a sign that I needed the pillow. No idea how DH will fit into the bed now 🤷‍♀️

TotoAnnihiliation · 17/03/2022 16:02

Congratulations on your upside down baby @EverydayIsPJday

TotoAnnihiliation · 17/03/2022 16:03

@Sazzy312 I'm guessing a boy. No expert here but I like to guess 😊

mol2mum · 17/03/2022 16:04

@Sazzy312 I'm going to guess boy!Thanks

20viona · 17/03/2022 16:05

God I am FUMING. Had my dating scan booked for tomorrow after being too early 2 weeks ago, tests bloody positive for covid this morning! It's now been moved to next week
Which cuts it really fine for the screening tests. So mad.

EverydayIsPJday · 17/03/2022 16:06

Thanks everyone. It was my ineptitude rather than the baby that's upside down 😂 although I had to wiggle my belly to get them to move. It was curled up in a little ball 🥰

Congrats @Sazzy312 lovely news 😊

annlee3817 · 17/03/2022 16:13

@20viona oh no, that sucks, really sorry :(

Sazzy312 · 17/03/2022 17:53

Thank you 🥰 and thanks for your guesses I haven't got long till we find out the sex, so exciting, congrats on everyone else who's had a scan so far 😊 so lovely to see all these babies x

EverydayIsPJday · 17/03/2022 18:03

I would also guess a girl @Sazzy312

I've actually sent my piccies to nubtechs. Slightly tongue in cheek as although it says 99.2% success rate I am still slightly dubious but I will get a nice diagram back within 24 hours to show all the identified body parts etc and for £11.99 it will be interesting to see what they predict. My 20 week scan is 3rd May so not long to find out if they're right!

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 17/03/2022 18:11

Had my screening results back. All good!
