@TotoAnnihiliation hold on in there. I remember feeling exactly this way the last time. It is so incredibly frustrating at the time. I will say, feeling like utter hell generally means that you've got a baby in there and it is growing/doing well. It is about the only thing you can tell yourself as a pick me up when you are feeling so truly awful. You should definitely go back to your doctor though. My sister had HG for the full 9 months with her first and was on cyclizine. By the time the baby arrived she was fully depressed after feeling sick, tired and miserable for that long, and really wasn't excited in any way to be a mum by that point. The story with her second child was so different in a good way. Ultimately it doesn't hurt to ask for help when you are feeling so rotten. Sending virtual hugs your way for a hopeful improvement really soon!

@madeleine85 thank you! I'm now crying because you have been so kind to me. I will call the GP tomorrow and explain how I am feeling. I definitely wasn't this poorly when I had DD.

PrettyTulip · 15/02/2022 21:47

Thanks for the responses girls 😊 weirdly after I wrote that message, the midwife called me and we were on the phone for over an hour 'booking in'. Got my bloods etc and notes on Thursday 👍🏻

I'm more having some cramps though 😩 what is this fresh hell 😞😞

MOLWI · 15/02/2022 22:59

@ShiningStarz all was good at my scan! Such a relief 🥰 here's a picture but I've also posted a video on the fb group!

It's going to end up very expensive for me if I book privately every time something worries me 😂😂 but so worth it for the reassurance

@Glitterygreen I went on holiday at 35 weeks, got a bit nervous when 3 babies from our NCT course came while we were there 😅 did pick a place with great healthcare and made sure I absolutely nailed my travel insurance though. I'd say anything up to viability should be an easy choice and beyond that it's a more personal decision but be very careful on insurance that premature birth and care is covered.

Isonthecase · 15/02/2022 23:45

Great news @MOLWI 😊

IzzyLeigh · 16/02/2022 01:23

Yay @MOLWI! And what a gorgeous scan too! ♥️

annlee3817 · 16/02/2022 06:27

I've been awake since 5.10 🙄 really could do with a good night's sleep

Also in the no sleep club 🥺 must have been up about 7-10 times during the night. My OH works nights but is off on a Tuesday, he thought it was a good idea to come to bed, wake me up, decide he couldn't sleep, and then do the same all over again 2 hours later 🙃 he also lies bang in the middle of the bed and I have my now far too clingy cat on the other side who doesn't budge 🤣 someone's getting demoted to the couch and it's not me! Lol

Billymay · 16/02/2022 07:51

@MOLWI so glad everything is ok and I saw your video it was amazing, such a little wiggler xxx

ShiningStarz · 16/02/2022 09:52

Awwww too cute @MOLWI so glad everything is ok 😍

Pinkflamingofly · 16/02/2022 10:54

Glad all is ok @Molwi I just saw the video on Facebook, amazing!

@dreamer30 @annlee3817 I'm sleeping terribly too. I wake up a 100 times at night and wake up too early in the morning. Thought it would have passed by now, but no. I'm sooo tired during the day. What is it going to be like when we're in the third trimester 😖😱

Weddingaug2019 · 16/02/2022 10:59

@TotoAnnihiliation

I'm struggling, really struggling. I can't bear the thought of food. I do eat, I pick at it and feel full very quickly. I have been given cyclizine which I take intermittently when I feel really sick. I don't know wether to talk to the doctor about it, I really don't feel well at all at the moment. Anyone going through anything similar?
I'm the same, Just hit 10 weeks today and feeling nauseous all day every day. It was mostly in the afternoon and evening for me before, so I could get a decent breakfast down. But not much past 12ish.. Now I just can't stomach anything at any time... no energy and can't fight off this awful cold cause I'm so run down... so so hoping it starts to settle soon... I'd just like to have the energy to play with my DD right now.
Glitterygreen · 16/02/2022 11:07

Thanks everyone for the comments on travel! I think I will book something :)

Does anybody know when we get our 20 week scan dates? Would it be following the 12 week scan?

Such a cute scan picture! Mine looked like a little squid in my 7 week scan 😂

EverydayIsPJday · 16/02/2022 12:03

Hi all, I've been experiencing cramping for the past 12 hours or so, on and off through the night but more noticeable now. It's like period pains really. At what point do you think I need to worry? I wasn't sure about calling epu as I'm not experiencing any bleeding. It's not a crippling pain, but enough for a hot water bottle and for me to fidget alot to try and get it to stop.

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 16/02/2022 13:32

I feel so sick today. I feel like I can't function! What can I do to help it?! I've tried eating little and often. I feel dreadful

annlee3817 · 16/02/2022 13:51

Sorry for those feeling rough

I'm feeling really anxious today, really thought I'd have the results of the NIPT test by now, and the waiting is driving me mad, seven working days so far :(

OP posts:
HeyBlaby · 16/02/2022 14:03

@annlee3817 which NIPT did you have?

annlee3817 · 16/02/2022 14:07

@HeyBlaby vision with ultrasound direct, just don't want to tell my family until we know all is ok, 12 week scan Friday but opted out of screening because of the NIPT

Why is maternity wear so expensive? I don't earn much and I really don't want to spend loads of money on stuff I won't wear after a year or so!

Already running out of things that fit though hha. Last time I just had to wear leggings and T-shirts because I couldn't afford much else. £30 on one dress is such a lot of money.

HeyBlaby · 16/02/2022 14:34

@annlee3817 I've just had the Harmony test on Sunday so waiting for results of that, I'm so inpatient.
