Placemarking 😊
Glad you had a reassuring scan @TotoAnnihiliation xxx

PrettyTulip · 28/01/2022 22:13

My Mumsnet app is different. I don't have them 3 dots but I filter most recent at the top by pressing the two arrows at top right of the screen... If anyone else has these? 😃

Hopingforarainbow27 · 28/01/2022 22:14

Hi everyone 💕

Peauela · 28/01/2022 22:18

@PrettyTulip me, it may be the iPhone ?

Peauela · 28/01/2022 22:20

Finally the weekend! I have my first early scan on Monday, I will be 6+5 by LMP or 5+6 by ovulation. I really hope we can see everything in its place and possibly a little heartbeat 💗

PrettyTulip · 28/01/2022 22:21

@Peauela yep. I'm an iPhone user .. strange the app is so different per operating system

handbagsandholidays · 28/01/2022 22:31

Parking my butt!

TotoAnnihiliation · 28/01/2022 22:35

I've just spent the last 30 minutes throwing up. I hope this won't become a regular occurrence!

girafferafferaffe · 28/01/2022 22:56

@PrettyTulip you can bookMark the last post you've read by swiping left and then it automatically jumps to where you left off :)

Thanks for setting up this new thread. Looking forward to sharing the next few weeks with you all. Xxx

RedIvy18 · 28/01/2022 23:19

Hi 😊 lovely to hear positive news about scans and hoping that the time isn't dragging too much for everyone!
I'll be 9w tomorrow & still a shadow of my former self due to the ms. Counting down the days until the end of the first tri! Staying positive though as it's all very exciting xxxx

RedIvy18 · 28/01/2022 23:26

Also sorry quick q...when I went for a private scan last Saturday at 8 weeks exactly (according to LMP) the sonographer gave me a measurement of 8w3d....should I just stick with the original LMP age or go with that? It's all v confusing 🤣 xxxx

Hopingforarainbow27 · 29/01/2022 06:08

I'm waking up at like half 3 every night with nausea and it continues most of the day. Has anyone any rips apart from ginger tea? I've never had this before so I'm taking it as a positive but I also struggle with the thought of being sick

Hopingforarainbow27 · 29/01/2022 06:08

Tips*

annlee3817 · 29/01/2022 06:18

@RedIvy18 same thing happened to me at my scan last weekend, I measured s few days ahead, I go by the LMP date still as know it will all change again at the 12 week scan. In my first pregnancy I went for a scan at 9+3 and was dated 8+4 by measurements, kept with my LMP date then too and when it came to my 12 week scan they measured me at 13 weeks, so a whole week ahead of the LMP date 🤷😊

@Hopingforarainbow27 can you keep some dry biscuits by your bed to eat when you wake up? Or crackers

This is dragging so much. Got a private scan booked for 12/2 which would put me around 8 weeks.

Hopingforarainbow27 · 29/01/2022 06:28

@annlee3817 even the thought of those are making me feel sick 🥺

annlee3817 · 29/01/2022 06:33

@Hopingforarainbow27 I was like that, thinking about it made me feel sick, but actually eating it less so, may be worth a try, is it thinking about any food that makes you feel like that?

Flibbyjibby · 29/01/2022 06:38

Yay! Hopping on :D

7+2 now and so far so good (I guess?)! Apart from the constant nausea and spending 20 mins before work hunched over the toilet bowl vomiting 🤮

The thing that depresses me most is I will get excited because the nausea subsided for a min and I will want something to eat, but once I’ve made food I just feel sick again.

I can’t wait for the first trimester to pass!

rcal1988 · 29/01/2022 07:05

@Mags146 thank you for the link to that chart. I haven’t come across anything like that and It’s reassuring to read. I’m 6w+1d and time is going so slow. It just seems an eternity to go until my scan to make sure everything is going OK. Does anyone else keep doing tests just to make sure?! 🤣

TiredMum01 · 29/01/2022 07:08

Hello, just jumping on to say hi in the new thread.
I’m mostly staying quiet still as just my anxiety it quite high, but I am reading all your comments. Hoping everyone else is ok. X

mummysept22 · 29/01/2022 07:20

Hey mummy's to be!! Anyone else around 6w1d and having no nausea yet? Also not as tired as I was/feel I should be. Boobs still sore and I'm crampy. Lots of clear discharge. Bit short of breath. So I am hoping everything is ok?

mummysept22 · 29/01/2022 07:23

Also I usually eat well but I ate a whole tub of ice cream and a few cookies this week - I also had a few days of intense stress (non pregnancy related) and now I'm worried I've messed up 😩 Have I broken the baby?! I am away on a relaxing weekend so hoping to counteract it!!! X

Mags146 · 29/01/2022 07:29

@rcal1988 no problem at all, I got it from the previous thread, one if the girls kindly shared it 😁
@mummysept22 I'm the same! Currently cramps, hunger, boobs are a bit sore and that's all. Nausea is gone for a while, not sure if that's good... I keep squeezing my boobs to check if they are still tender to reassure myself everything is OK 😂

RedIvy18 · 29/01/2022 08:24

Thanks for the tip @annlee3817, it's weird isn't it. I guess they all grow ar slightly different rates.

@Hopingforarainbow27 I found that ice lollies (specifically the fruit pastilles ones) gave me some respite from the nausea, not sure why but may be worth a try? They aren't particularly nutritious I know but they get some sugar in you which can be good.

Xx
