@annlee3817 yes any food just makes me feel sick. I'm drinking ginger tea so hoping it helps me

@RedIvy18 oh thanks for that!

annlee3817 · 29/01/2022 08:56

I really need new bras, I've got one bigger one, but it was in the wash, so had to put on my old bra and usually I'm pretty flat chested, now I look like I've put on a wonderbra Blush

@RedIvy18 @annlee3817 my boobs are transformed, I'm only 6+3 today and they are at least one size bigger, sore, hard and rounder but my God it's crazy 😂 also need new bras!

110APiccadilly · 29/01/2022 09:13

Does anyone have any good recommendations for sports bras for the well endowed?! I'm still squeezing into one that fitted before DD and it's not great!

annlee3817 · 29/01/2022 09:25

@110APiccadilly they have some high impact sports bras in the clearance section on the next website

110APiccadilly · 29/01/2022 10:15

Thanks, I'll have a look at that. Clearance sounds good as I know it's important to have well fitting ones, but I don't want to spend loads on a bra that might not fit that long!

MrsG2021 · 29/01/2022 11:01

Thank you @annlee3817!

Congrats @EverydayIsPJday ! How are you feeling? The days seem to be dragging for me at the minute!

LionPen · 29/01/2022 11:22

Morning
9+1 today and the nausea has well and truly kicked in! Everything I eat/smell/see makes me heave - got lunch at MIL tomorrow who we haven't told yet so it's going to be difficult to hide.
All other symptoms have disappeared (can touch my boobs with out squinting in pain) so although the nausea is awful, it is a bit reassuring!

I bit the bullet last week and bought some maternity/ nursing bras. I have quite large norks as it is and my old bra was strangling them. I bought a pack of 3 from the George Asda website.

My thighs have gained weight, despite me barely eating and now I can't get many of my trousers up! As soon as I get my 12 week scan, I'm buying a new wardrobe of clothes!

girafferafferaffe · 29/01/2022 12:47

I'm just wearing crop tops from Tesco. Tbf I've been wearing them for years as I find bras soooo uncomfortable. My boobs are ridiculously huge and I just try to wear something that'll flatten them a bit 🤦🏻‍♀️

8+2 now!

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 29/01/2022 13:34

6 weeks today and got 3+. I know some people will say the test means nothing but I've found it reassuring. Scan in two weeks. 🤞🤞🤞

Hi everyone! I got my BFP last Thursday which said 3+weeks so I think I am 5/6 weeks now. Also got a positive for covid a few days after my BFP, so not been able to confirm with Dr. When I called them they basically asked me to self refer to midwife. When I called the midwife team they put me on the system and said someone would be in touch.

It all doesn't feel real still (even though I've done 3 tests Grin) so just wondered when it's normal to have your booking appointment?

nadia1957 · 29/01/2022 15:17

@FD100 congratulations and welcome! I had my booking in appointment this week and I was just shy of 9 weeks. Won't see the midwife until 16 weeks now!

20viona · 29/01/2022 15:41

@Whatelsecouldibecalled just got mine too :) so pleased to see it going up! I have a private scan in 2 weeks can't wait. With my daughter I had zero symptoms apart from sore boobs and it's exactly the same this
Time too.

Thanks for the new thread, just caught up!

As a fellow big boobed lady on my 2nd pregnancy, ive had to wear a maternity bra to sleep the last month. Ah the joys 😂

@TotoAnnihiliation congrats on the scan, looks great!!

FD100 · 29/01/2022 16:53

@nadia1957 congrats to you too and thank you ☺️ That's so reassuring thank you!

Peauela · 29/01/2022 17:43

@Whatelsecouldibecalled @20viona Ahh so good to see that! I'm saving mine until Monday, the 31st because it's the date of my scan. I got my 2-3 weeks on the 22nd January so it better be showing 3+ then!!! 😂

Dreamer30 · 29/01/2022 17:50

I'm 6w+6d and have really bad cramp. Earlier my lower belly felt hot and now I have what I can only describe as bad period pain. Having had a MC before obviously I'm worried. Anyone else have/had the same

EverydayIsPJday · 29/01/2022 17:51

Aw brilliant news on the 3+'s Smile that's so reassuring. A brilliant sign. I'm desperate for mine end of next week!

Today is the first day I feel abit 'off' at 5+2. But I really didn't sleep well as my eldest was poorly overnight. I'm hoping after remembering how bloody horrible the nausea felt with my previous pgs that I now definitely dodge that bullet this time around!! I'm really hungry though...

First world problem but I have a day off next week ALL BY MYSELF which is the first in a couple of years (2 kids 4y and under...) I was really looking forward to meandering around the shops (at my pace) having lunch (without scraping food off the floor) and now I have no idea what to do 🤣 I want the day out to myself for some headspace but can't clothes shop. I'm bloating like a pufferfish but it seems too early to shop for mat clothes (I got rid of all mine last year after we thought we were stopping ttc) and obv no point buying regular clothes... Any suggestions how to unwind? I don't want to waste the day. I cant think 🤔

Isonthecase · 29/01/2022 17:54

@EverydayIsPJday could you get some clothes that will also fit for the first few months postpartum? I've been stocking up on leggings, bought a normal and maternity pair from fabletics in the intro offer and it was so easy to unsubscribe. But then I've kept a few maternity tops as normal clothes because they're so comfy anyway 😅

SkaterChick · 29/01/2022 18:14

Posting to book mark! Though these threads are moving quicker than I can keep up 🤦‍♀️

EverydayIsPJday · 29/01/2022 18:29

Thanks @Isonthecase I could do that, yes. I definitely feel uncomfortable ATM - not a bump obv but bloating up. I starting showing a rounded tummy at 8 weeks with #2 🤨 muscle memory or something (or lack of, in my case!). I'm grateful to be wfh so if I do start showing early I will be living in DHs jumpers if I don't have anything else 😅
Perhaps I will browse if I have a wobble about jinxing it. Fingers crossed I will get my 3weeks that morning 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Totally agree with others it won't be long til I need bras anyway!!

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 29/01/2022 18:40

Those with children already are you trying to take it easy or cracking on as normal? I have a 22 month old toddler and it's pretty much business as usual but is this ok?

MedbN · 29/01/2022 18:45

@110APiccadilly I have my booking appointment by phone on Wednesday morning and then in hospital later in the day for measuring and tests I guess? I will be about 8 weeks then based on LMP.

EverydayIsPJday · 29/01/2022 18:53

@Whatelsecouldibecalled I am cracking on as usual (I have the kids 2 days a week by myself then shared with DH at the weekend). Just be aware of the strain as you get bigger and adjust accordingly I would say. My eldest was 2 and 3 months when youngest was born, I really couldn't avoid picking him up etc but if DH was around he would step in. Mat leave was much harder, as COVID hit I had both kids post section at home 🤦 but who could've planned that!
