Hello everyone!

I have just had my BFP this morning, and based on dates I am due on the 1st September! I’m only just late on my period so hopefully there will be a few more of us over the next few weeks. Last pregnancy my date was pushed back a few days and DS ended up being a full 12 days late after that so I’m not too wedded to the 1st September!

I am so massively anxious about telling work! I think I may wait until a scan has been done because I don't know if everything is ok until then

annlee3817 · 13/01/2022 08:34

I told my boss on Monday, because she asked if I was ok and I started crying due to feeling so sick, I've told her that I don't want anyone else knowing, but allowed her to tell the big boss, as she wants him to be aware so he cuts me some slack (her words)

7 weeks today

TotoAnnihiliation · 13/01/2022 09:16

@Hopingforarainbow27 I remember you from the other thread - congratulations!

TotoAnnihiliation · 13/01/2022 09:23

I'm telling my work place when I go back, I'm signed off with stress. I will be making a point that things can't carry on the way they were.

I'm supposed to give 10 days notice if I need time off for appointments, I don't know if any appointments will come with that much notice, so I'm going forewarn them.

Whoknew22 · 13/01/2022 09:36

@TotoAnnihiliation that’s a ridiculous rule for something you are entitled to and may have no control over. Hope things get better with work for you and the stress reduces. Like pregnancies aren’t stressful enough

Hopingforarainbow27 · 13/01/2022 09:50

Thank you everyone! It encourages me to hear it's a strong line after having two miscarriages, I hope its a good thing and means this time is different! I only slept 3 hours last night as I was so anxious

Sassy144 · 13/01/2022 09:59

Nausea has suddenly hit me, not all the time but it comes in waves. I'm only 4 weeks, is that normal?

Gemmasl35 · 13/01/2022 10:27

So I had a great night sleep last night first time since I got my bfp Nearly 2 weeks ago sleep straight through had 8 hours, only to to get up this morning to be greeted with sickness! I love the first trimester 🤣😂

annlee3817 · 13/01/2022 10:37

Anyone else really hungry, I got up at 3.30 and had a banana because my stomach felt so Empty, then toast for breakfast and now feel absurd starving again

annlee3817 · 13/01/2022 10:37

Absolutely not absurd

notmyusualchoice · 13/01/2022 10:46

@Sassy144

I had waves of nausea at 4 weeks, which was what made me decide to test! It sort of disappeared last week for the most part, but comes back occasionally with a strong surge and then fizzles out.

But there’s so many posts on so many websites that say everyone will experience different things, which makes it hard to relax because it would appear there isn’t no normal! I’ve been signed off work for 2 weeks because I had three migraines in three days, meaning I was barely at work this week! Apparently, that’s pregnancy related but until now I had no idea it could happen!

I’ve hardly been on here for that reason, as screens can be very difficult to look at and focus on. It’s been so nice to read back through the posts and see how we are all getting on. We have an early scan booked for next weekend because of all the migraine stuff - desperate to know it’s all for a good cause...

Sassy144 · 13/01/2022 10:53

@Gemmasl35 me too! Last night was the first full (ish) night's sleep I've had in a week and I have so much more energy thanks to not being up all night, but I'm feeling sick today!

@annlee3817 I'm exactly the same with the hunger, every two hours or so my stomach is growling. I've been taking a cereal bar to bed with me for middle of the night hunger pangs!

@notmyusualchoice thank you, that's reassuring and it's so funny how everyone is affected differently. You have my sympathy with the migraines, they are absolutely horrible. I've suffered with them since I was 14, and unfortunately hormonal changes are a common trigger. I was worried that coming off the pill and my preventative tablets would kick mine off big time but (touch wood) I've been very lucky so far. I hope they ease off soon and good luck at your scan!

Hopingforarainbow27 · 13/01/2022 11:11

I had 3 hours sleep last night! Got up at 1:30 to get toast as I was starving too!!

Hopingforarainbow27 · 13/01/2022 11:12

I feel like I've pulled a muscle sometimes or have a stitch? Depends what way I move. Should I be worried

TooManyCostas · 13/01/2022 11:14

Hi everyone. Got my BFP yesterday. If I'm right my due date is the 16th September. Feeling so tired and nauseous

Sassy144 · 13/01/2022 11:30

@TooManyCostas welcome and congratulations! Sorry you're feeling rubbish 😖

@Hopingforarainbow27 I feel a little like that too, my stomach muscles feel a bit weak and when I turn over in bed they feel a little sore, I presumed they're just preparing to stretch/move but no idea really

Hopingforarainbow27 · 13/01/2022 11:32

@Sassy144 yes mine was the same in bed last night! I didn't have this with my other two pregnancies

TooManyCostas · 13/01/2022 11:41

@Sassy144 thank you. I'm already feeling it. This will be my third and it's definitely harder now I'm older and have 2 others to look after

Whoknew22 · 13/01/2022 12:09

@notmyusualchoice I feel you with the migraines, I had them at the start of my first pregnancy. They were awful. I got them bad when I stopped breastfeeding too which was annoying. Thankfully no migraines this pregnancy which may be due to getting Botox a few days before getting my BFP….. 🙊

annlee3817 · 13/01/2022 12:18

@Whoknew22 I was due mine next month, wrinkles are starting to show again lol may just get a fringe cut

Peauela · 13/01/2022 12:31

Hi Girls.

I tested positive this morning! 😭❤️ still can't believe it. Going straight for GP appointment tomorrow morning. My due date should be ~ 23 Sep 22.

It was our 7th cycle trying but this cycle we actually didn't try believe it or not! 😅 I wasn't tracking my ovulation or temperature and with family over for Christmas, we only had sex twice one day after another which is crazy to me!

I'm so happy! But also it's so early I'm a bit scared!

Peauela · 13/01/2022 12:32

@GivenchyDahhling I think topics have limit of 1000 posts, just letting you know before we run out of space ❤️ you might need to create part 2 ❤️

Whoknew22 · 13/01/2022 12:33

@annlee3817 oh that’s a shame. I did do a test that morning and it was negative so went ahead with it. 3 days later I had a faint line. Not to worry, can’t change it now. I had a good few wines over Christmas too. Not the best start but found out early which is good

annlee3817 · 13/01/2022 12:36

Congratulations @Peauela

@Whoknew22 yes definitely :)
