Hello everyone!

I have just had my BFP this morning, and based on dates I am due on the 1st September! I’m only just late on my period so hopefully there will be a few more of us over the next few weeks. Last pregnancy my date was pushed back a few days and DS ended up being a full 12 days late after that so I’m not too wedded to the 1st September!

Am I right in thinking we're not to get our hair bleached/dyed during pregnancy or is that not true? My roots are bad rn 😂

I think if it’s just highlights/ lowlights it’s fine. You just don’t want to be applying anything directly to your scalp. But I’d check with a hairdresser they will know.

@Chlox16 I would call if I were you, did they say how long their response time is? I did mine on Monday and heard back today.

@Chlox16 I did the self referral too and am yet to hear anything but got an email as soon as I submitted it saying they'd be in touch when I'm around 10 weeks x

@Chlox16 same here! I'll be 2 weeks fri so I might give them til the start of next week then start trying to chase them down.

Barely any symptoms here too. If I didn't know I was pregnant I probably wouldn't suspect it. Cramps are getting more and more infrequent, none today, and are still only extremely mild. Only feeling slightly sick when im hungry (which I do seem to be more regularly than normal...and a lot more thirsty than normal too). The only consistent symptom I've had for the last week is a mild slightly achey back that is very unusual for me. Although I will say that I look puffier than normal 😅...like a water retention kind of puffy rather than constipated. Having to refrain myself from testing just to keep making sure I'm still pregnant 🙈😂

Yessss this is me. Cramps were noticeable and more frequent during the week when my period should have been here, but since then have definitely calmed down a lot.

I'm just waiting for my sore boobs, I feel like surely that's inevitable and something physically has to change with them!?

Thank you all for your lovely responses. It's awful isn't it because I know I deserve it but then feel like a right meanie saying thanks but I'm off on maternity in September. I am hoping that because they know me (I've been there 2 years and started in the pandemic and have really worked hard and made things so much better in the office admin-wise) that they'll know I'll be reliable to come back

@Sassy144 no don't remember seeing a response time and just gone through my emails and didn't even receive a confirmation email so probably did it wrong x

@Glitterygreen ooo yes that was definitely me too with the cramps! My boobs also hurt more until my period was supposed to arrive. Since then they've just been very slightly plumper (but that's probably the water retention) but they're not sore or anything. If I manhandle them they do seem to be slightly achey at the back of them if that makes sense (where the hard tissue is attached to the ribcage...soz for the rubbish description 😅) ...but then I've only got 32C's so there's not much of them to ache 😂😂
I'm 5+2 as well so only a day ahead of you.
Feel like I'm clutching at straws trying to find symptoms 😂 although not complaining after seeing how bad my sis had morning sickness with my niece

Just took a digital test to make sure the weeks are progressing and am so relieved to have gotten 3+ weeks 😍

I got my BFP today! I am unsure of my due date as my cycles are quite irregular but the NHS website predicts 9th September so I’m about 5 weeks. This will be my second pregnancy, my DD is nearly 2

I can call my midwife tomorrow as I will be 6 weeks so can book my booking appointment. Going to try and do it after work so I don't need to tell them yet. Quite excited.

Symptom wise I am just exhausted and my boobs are incredibly sore! Plus I want to eat almost constantly haha.

I got my booking appointment scheduled today for Feb, but it's going to be over the phone due to covid - anyone else heard this?

The perks of working from home meant I had a little lunchtime nap today, after being awake since 4am! I don't have a huge amount of other symptoms, the odd cramp, hungry often and maybe very slightly queasy today but that might be from being tired.

Also I am willing my teeny tiny boobs to start growing 😂

Well I think my symptoms might have started but now I’m wondering are they normal??

Last night before bed I had really strong period type cramps and then needed to go to the toilet & not for a number 1 if you know what I mean…

Then today in work of all places, I was sat near a radiator observing a student teacher. All of a sudden I had awful cramps that made me feel a bit sick but only because of how painful they were. My hands were sweating badly & I felt like I might faint but I opened a window & as I cooled down I felt absolutely fine.

I seem to be really struggling if I get too hot but don’t know why it seems to give me cramps?? Anyone else have something similar?

Have some of mine, wish I could chop them off they're just ridiculously huge now and it'll get worse!!

@Sassy144 mine went from a tiny 30C to a 34E last time, granted they shrunk back when I stopped breastfeeding, but they were non tiny for a bit 🤣🤣

I got my BPF on Sunday just gone & it only showed 1-2 weeks although I’m 5+1 going from there first day of my last period (December 8)

I'm 38 and got my first ever BFP yesterday - same day AF was due.

DD 23rd Sept. I live abroad so feels a bit crappy being away from family. The positive side is a blood confirmation is routine here so I had that today.

Dr gave great advice to try to relax and not overthink/worry so I’m trying to stay positive & excited

Hi ladies I filled out a referral online nearly two weeks ago didn't have any confirmation email or anything was starting to think I didn't send it right. I tried to call the number a few times with no luck but this afternoon I received a call from the booking office, and the next available appointment is the 31st jan I will be 9+1 then so I'm guessing going by that they are very busy in my area or have a back log due to Xmas and new year maybe. My booking appointment is also over the phone which is new to me and they will the invite me in to have bloods done my last pregnancy was 7 years ago is this how they do things now or it it covid precautions x

@BlueSky57 I also had the cramps and toilet thing yesterday after a few days of constipation, had calmed right down today...

@MOLWI oh, I hadn't even thought about my hair, it desperately needs redying.... Fingers crossed it's okay, I'm going to furiously Google it now 🤣

I'm also suffering fluctuations in my symptoms, I haven't felt anywhere near as nauseas today (which has had my anxiously thinking something is wrong) but then I've just had half a pizza for dinner and I'm feeling sick as anything right now...
