Happy new year everyone.

fpeg · 01/01/2022 09:00

Happy new year all 💜

@MrsNT I've felt a variety of things, swirls is one good description. Another thing I've felt is a sensation a bit like a muscle twitch, like when your eyelid does that annoying flickering thing that drives you crazy but no one else can see it. I've also felt what I thought was my pulse in my abdomen a couple of times when I've been lay down, apparently this is likely to be baby hiccups!

InvisibleDragon · 01/01/2022 09:45

Happy New year everyone!

So exciting to hear you're starting to feel movements! Really looking forward to this in the next few weeks.

I'm in Egypt for 2 weeks now staying with my in laws. It's been really nice so far - the expectation here is that you need loads of fresh fruit and vegetables, so they keep making me salads, which is great Grin

Clueless22 · 01/01/2022 10:01

Happy new year everyone, were all having babies this year ... so exciting!

I've a pulsating in my stomach but I thought it was due to increased blood flow. If its hiccups that's really cool.

Imhereforthecake · 01/01/2022 11:23

Happy new year everyone ❤️
Wishing all of you lots of happiness for this year

RoseValleyRambles · 01/01/2022 12:02

Happy new year everyone! Eek!
I am trying to hold off buying baby clothes, as I have no storage until we've done some DIY. Tough tho.
Time seems to be flying suddenly, and the window of being comfortable/able to do stuff before I get too chunky feels very small. Anyone feeling the same?
Have also started to have baby dreams, so little one has thoroughly invaded my subconscious...

Flowerbug1994 · 01/01/2022 12:05

My movements feel like my stomachs rumbling even when am not hungry like last night I’d eat a massive chinese and then my stomach felt like it was rumbling. So am thinking this was movements because my early movements felt like a turning in my stomach.

destiEos · 01/01/2022 12:06

Happy New Year everyone! Didn't do a thing, just had a glass of no-secco and was in bed by 12:30 😬 Slept through til 11am and am now curled up on the sofa watching The Abominable Snow Baby 🥰 Here's to a great 2022 and happy mums and healthy babies for us all 💕

Lostintranslatio · 01/01/2022 12:30

Happy New Year!!!! I have not bought any clothes yet, not because I did not want to😅 but I'm 14+4 and it feels a bit early yet. However I've got a couple of cute presents from family ❤️❤️

rathernotshare · 01/01/2022 12:38

Happy new year everyone!

Seeing talk about movements is worrying me a little, I'm 17+3 and had nothing yet. How far are those feeling things?

TTCjourney2021 · 01/01/2022 12:39

Happy new year ladies!! Xx

Prema112 · 01/01/2022 13:56

Woohoo our babies will be born this year!! How exciting!

@MrsNT like @fpeg I first felt what felt like muscle twitches in my pelvis

If you can't feel movement yet please don't worry! It will come

sunflower198 · 01/01/2022 13:59

I've had a horrible sore throat and ear pain since I had my booster a few days ago.
Does anybody know if there is anything we can take (apart from paracetamol?)

Clueless22 · 01/01/2022 13:59

@rathernotshare im 17 weeks and not felt anything yet, first baby.

Can't wait for it to happen though as I have serious FOMO Smile

beansprout55 · 01/01/2022 15:19

@laurenGame thanks. Sadly things are worse. I think my marriage has ended overnight - feeling numb, strange and very alone.
MIL has been supporting me overnight so not totally alone.

mrkb · 01/01/2022 15:45

@rathernotshare I've had a few things like what's described below (stomach 'rumbles' - though not convinced it wasn't literally a stomach rumble 😂) but not had anything at all recently and 18 weeks tomorrow. Is it your first too? I read it's totally normal for us not to feel anything before 24 weeks which seems forever away but we'll get there!

Prema112 · 01/01/2022 16:19

@beansprout55 So sorry to hear you're going through a hard time, not at all what you need when pregnant. I really hope you and your husband can work things out. Thinking if you. Hope your bleeding has stopped too xx

pregnancydiaries · 01/01/2022 16:52

So sorry to hear this @beansprout55, we’re all here if you want to talk about it xxx

HWka · 01/01/2022 17:01

So sorry you’re going through this @beansprout55

RoseValleyRambles · 01/01/2022 17:10

Paracetamol, paracetamol and paracetamol.... Anything else will cause certain death. Grin

More seriously, if you drop into a pharmacy the pharmacist may know what else is allowed? I'm guessing otherwise it's a GP question and they're not the most available at the moment.

Sorry you're feeling sucky. It's so frustrating to not be able to take normal meds. I like boots glycerine pastels when I've got a sore throat. Don't think they're medicated so they might be ok?

Lostintranslatio · 01/01/2022 18:16

@beansprout55 I'm so sorry you're having a rough time. Take care of yourself and your little one 😘

MrsNT · 01/01/2022 19:28

Has anyone had gender scan yet? Or found out gender? Curious to know if we are having more of baby boys or girls in June. I know of soooo many people who just had a boy in these last 2 weeks

MrsNT · 01/01/2022 19:29

@beansprout55 hoping things get better for u hun xx thinking of u

rathernotshare · 01/01/2022 19:39

@beansprout55 so sorry to hear that, I hope things work out for the best whatever that may be xx

@MrsNT we are having a girl ☺️
