I've just had my 12-week scan and all was well! Bubs was measuring 5 days ahead so my due date was moved to 17th. I'm not sure I believe it tbh 😅 I tested ovulation and then did a pregnancy test early too, so it can't have happened that many days earlier! One or two, sure, but almost a week is unlikely. Oh well, this is what we're going with now, it doesn't really matter that much at the end of the day.

NT measurement was within normal range (2.0mm) and waiting for blood results for the screening now. I texted two of my best friends now, they both live abroad so we don't talk that often - I'm not originally from the UK. Will ring my mum too after work and then tell my siblings. All of them are abroad too.

Feels a bit more real now!

Congratulations @GinnyBee and thanks for making a new thread. That's frustrating about dates, did you try and argue it? I probably would have 😂 xx

@fattycatty82 Nah, it's not that big a deal, a few days isn't going to change much! Also, the new dates now mean I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow and enter second trimester 😉

I'm confused about my dates as well but mainly because we hardly tried the month we conceived and didn't even bother after I had a positive ovulation as it seemed pointless by that time.

Placemarking after busy weekend, seems like time been going on go slow to 12 week scan on Thursday at 12+2

Still really worried

@Minster2012 mines on Friday and I feel like time has literally stopped. I hope everything goes well for you, I'm sure it will. I'm also nervous

I've suffered with sickness like actual being sick since I was about 5 weeks it has calmed down so much in the last two weeks just feeling a tiny bit nauseous however, these last 2 days the nausea has been horrific! I think I would rather be sick 😂!

Great scan photos! I've got my official dating scan on Wednesday! I've been given an Edd of 18th may when I went for a private scan so it will be interesting to see what they say as going off my dates the 18th would be right.

Hi, thanks for the new thread 😊. Hope everyone is well, I’m feeling sorry for myself as I have yet another cold and I’m not sleeping well, but I have my 16 week appointment next week to look forward to, I’m trying not to be too nervous this time.

I’m sure I read somewhere that partners aren’t allowed to go to the 16 week appointment - is that a thing?

@TashieWoo I think that's right, my understanding is partners are only allowed to go to the 12 and 20 week scans as standard but it may vary!

Thank you for starting a new thread! I'm currently 11+6, still feeling very tired but can't seem to get comfy to sleep! Luckily the nausea seems to be getting a bit better and less frequent now. Got my scan next Wednesday when I'll be 13w exactly! Very nervous as haven't had a private scan so this will be first time seeing the baby. Does anyone feel like time is going really fast but at the same time not really?! I feel like it's scary to think I've known I'm pregnant for 6 weeks now but it feels like I've waited forever to get to have my scan! Hope everyone is doing okay x

@autumn321 that's exactly how I feel regarding the scan! I'm constantly wondering if everything is ok in there!

I've also not been sleeping too well, I go to bed early but then wake around midnight and 4am then struggle to get back to sleep. I'm quite a worrier and work has been full on for a while now (since I found out I was pregnant 8 weeks ago really🤦‍♀️) so overthinking isn't helping. I wish my evenings weren't write offs as as soon as I finish work all I have energy to do is lie on the sofa. Some days I don't leave the house which doesn't help. Ahhh having a bit of a moan now sorry!

Looking forward to Christmas so I can have a nice bit of time off 😊

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow. I had a private scan at 8weeks so think I'll be 12+4 tomorrow.
Feeling very nervous wondering if baby is okay and worried they may make a comment in front of DP about my weight affecting view of baby.

I have my dating scan tomorrow, was supposed to be yesterday but the hospital had to change it as no one could scan me Monday. Even though I saw baby jumping around a few weeks ago I'm still so nervous that something will be wrong but trying to keep positive!

Also told work who have been super supportive.

Hello I am 15 weeks pregnant tomorrow basically on Saturday I was dancing around as was at a party and had brown discharge not enough to feel the bad only when I wipe it stop but when I go toilet and wipe small amount brown discharge still I have no cramps or anything just wondering if anyone else had this people saying could be the old blood come from the uterus where I was jumping and dancing around and at my 13 week scan baby was so healthy and very active

@Nmh1197 Tiny bits of brown shouldn't be anything to worry about :) Keep an eye on it and if it gets heavier, red, or painful then contact your midwife to check. But if it's just a bit when wiping then it's probably nothing!

Is anyone else waking up at night and unable to go back to sleep? I do this 2-3 times a week and it's doing my head in! Last night I woke again at 3am and didn't get sleepy again until past 5am and by then it's almost time to get up anyway so I had another hour to snooze and now feel like death! I'm not brilliant with lack of sleep anyway, but being pregnant as well it's so much worse! Thank god I didn't need to be in the office today.

Yes @GinnyBee I’m not sleeping well at all, and I used to have no problem! I’m getting up for a wee once or twice, and then I often can’t go back to sleep. I used to be good at having a little nap for 20 mins and that really helped but I can’t do that either now.

I’ve also got a lot on my mind and going on at home besides the pregnancy and that isn’t helping.

I can't wait for my 12 week scan next week (I'll be 12+5) - counting down the days but also terrified that something will have gone wrong. We did have a scan at 9 weeks so I know there is a little bubba in there with a heartbeat but just so badly want it to all still be ok next week

I'm also waking every day between 4am and 5am 😴

Yes really disturbed sleep it's not helping the nausea. Just went to my doctor to give a urine sample as wondering if I have a UTI that's making me feel run down or if it is just the lack of sleep. It's overthinking for me I think and maybe not enough fresh air/exercise but I find myself thinking about all sorts from the birth, to affording the maternity leave, to whether ill have a boy or a girl! It's not always worrying just my mind in overdrive. When I feel better im going to try and go for an evening swim some nights as that might help me sleep better 🤷‍♀️

@fattycatty82 the days where I'm more active I definitely sleep better so hopefully that will help
