@Bubblemonkey - exciting, 28 June is the same due date as me!! Although if it were based on my ovulation date it would be 30th June…

i123i · 21/10/2021 12:06

@4thtimethecharm - welcome and agreed! 🍀

TTCjourney2021 · 21/10/2021 12:08

Does anybody else have a bizarre pain/ache to the left and right of their belly button? It's not crappy/period like? It's hard to put a finger on what it feels like but definitely there?

RoseValleyRambles · 21/10/2021 12:22

Hey all,
I have just joined the 'due in june' club! It was a bit of a surprise as after 5 years TTC and being pretty sure it wasn't going to happen, suddenly here I am.
Lots of mixed feelings, as I'd got quite used to the idea of a slightly different shape of life. But excited for the unexpected adventure that's on the way.
It's so nice to have some digital company while we wait to tell people once we're a bit further along. Great to meet you all.

Prema112 · 21/10/2021 12:37

@4thtimethecharm welcome! So sorry to hear of your other losses and really hope that 4th times a charm for you!

@RoseValleyRambles 5 years is a really long time TTC, we've done 4 and a bit years to get to this pregnancy so I know a little of what it's like to be trying for years. So happy for you that you're pregnant now! Welcome to the group!

4thtimethecharm · 21/10/2021 12:47

Thanks so much @i123i and @Prema112, wishing you both so much good luck with this one.

@RoseValleyRambles, congrats on your BFP. It is nice to have online company when you don't really dare tell others yet. Hope things will work out with this long-awaited pregnancy!

i123i · 21/10/2021 12:50

Congrats and welcome @RoseValleyRambles - totally agree on it being really nice to have this group to chat to when you haven’t told others!

RoseValleyRambles · 21/10/2021 12:59

Thanks guys. Still definitely in "Eek!" mode at the moment. Just referred to the local maternity unit (form asked me to choose my preferred place to give birth! Strangely enough, I haven't really considered that yet...) and it felt really weird having the first chat with a stranger.
I'm also surprised how many physical symptoms there are, so early. I've had a few days of tugging sensations (but like my usual ovulation pain), and have been feeling a bit bloated which I'd just put down to lockdown weight gain. Weird how fast it all kicks in.

Wellthiswasunexpected · 21/10/2021 13:34

@Equimum @Prema112 thanks for being so lovely and supportive. The bleeding has stopped now, and I don’t have any other symptoms so keeping positive. It was light pink rather than full on red (sorry for the TMI) so hoping it’s perhaps that cervical issue you had (or something similarly unsinister) rather than the worst case scenario.

Bridgey8 · 21/10/2021 13:52

I've been referred for a scan as they are worried about ectopic. So scared!

makingamac · 21/10/2021 14:53

@Bridgey8 that's good that they're taking you in. Try not to worry, they're probably just being cautious. When's the scan? X

TTCjourney2021 · 21/10/2021 15:00

Fingers crossed for you @Bridgey8 x

Bridgey8 · 21/10/2021 15:18

It's tomorrow at 12. Fingers crossed all ok 😫😫😫

MrsNT · 21/10/2021 15:38

@bridgey8 awww hun..ectopic is very very rare so dont worry too much. Hopefully all will be well and you will get to see in scan tomorrow

MrsNT · 21/10/2021 15:39

Does anyone get achey ribs?

makingamac · 21/10/2021 15:43

@Bridgey8 we will all be thinking of you. Please let us know how it goes x

Imhereforthecake · 21/10/2021 15:46

TTCjourney2021 · 21/10/2021 16:03

@Bridgey8 I've had an ectopic if you want me to answer any questions you might have x

CurryandSnuggle · 21/10/2021 16:04

@Bridgey8 Aww, good luck with your scan. Did they say why they think it might be ectopic?

@ttcally19 Thanks for the group.. I'm thinking I will join but not until my 12 week scan/when I've told family and friends.

Thanks @TTCjourney2021

@CurryandSnuggle - I just have some sharp pains on one side which the midwife thought was stretching and I've had a tiny bit of spotting. But I also have some shoulder pain - which probably is from slouching at my desk... but the GP wanted to air on the side of caution just in case x

i123i · 21/10/2021 16:30

@Bridgey8 - sending you strength and prayers for tomorrow 🙏🏻

I just completed the online NHS ante-natal self referral for the first appointment. Did anyone else do this and how long did they take to respond? Or did you all call the midwife unit directly?

HWka · 21/10/2021 16:36

@Bridgey8 sounds like they are just been thorough rather than panic stations. Fingers crossed for you tomorrow xxx

CurryandSnuggle · 21/10/2021 16:38

@i123i I did my self-referral at 6 weeks, got an email 3 days later and a letter 3 days after that, and my 12 week scan appointment came with the letter too.

I had my booking appointment today.
