I know you all love these ones! My daughter is due in February, and she is, so far, nameless. By this stage, ds had had his name for ages, but am finding a girl's name much more of a challenge. I want something reasonably distinctive, with some history to it, and perhaps a little glamour too.
Dh has sternly vetoed my first choice, Angelica. His favourite names are Frances and Olivia, which I like....but are they 'the one'.
Other names in the frame include Nina, Edith, Livia, Lucy, Elizabeth, Catherine, Phoebe, Mia and Viola.
Any more for any more?

I think Thea is a gorgeous name for a girl, also Georgia, Elizabeth - Libby is lovely, Abby and like Felicity shortened to Lissie!

Dh and I were just out to dinner for my birthday (tis late in Australia, so is okay I am tipsy!!) and we were talking about possible next children and names there of. I love the name Eden for a girl, Edie for short, but got shot down rather dramatically!! I also like Jane, Elizabeth, Rebekah and Julia. I think girls names are much easier to choose, perhaps because there is lots of boys on dh's side -we've ruled out ever having a girl! Oh, and congratulations Aloha!

sweetheart · 10/11/2004 11:11

lol, sorry just keep thinking o Eddie Mcreedy from Ballamory - don't suppose you get that in Australia do you?!?!?!
