Hope everyone else is ok. We've just been for a lovely walk, everyday we try to walk the dog a different route we find so many lovely secret pathways in our new area. I'm so so happy we moved here. We have a nursery literally 10 min walk away, a primary school to our left and a secondary behind us. And a park 2 mins away, it's just so perfect for our new family 🥰

So my parents just phoned, with a surprise for us.. They've got us a basically new moses basket from a friend of a friend of theirs who's used it once as her baby didn't take to it 😍

@kirky658 - love the pram and moses basket! I think it was you i was talking to about the covid vaccine a while back? Just to let you know I had mine a couple of weeks at at 29 weeks and really glad i did. Hoping I'll get second dose before baby arrives but it's unlikely as my consultant said they went give it to you within 3 weeks of having any procedure including giving birth so unless I get an invite before 35 ish weeks then it won't happen.

@minster2012 glad you're doing OK and had no further issues - not long till your scan now!

Sorry to anyone whose updates I've missed - I'm so far behind with the thread! Spent all weekend in the pouring rain building a wickey climbing frame for my twins' second birthday on Friday - it's fab!

Stupid MN app wouldn't let me attach a photo to my last post! It's not quite finished yet but getting there!

@samoyedfan123 yeah I think it was! Glad you've got your first one sorted hun. I'm still on the fence, going to speak to the midwife when I see her next week. I'm late 20s so it's gonna be a couple of months before I'm offered it anyway... The climbing frame looks awesome BTW 😍

@minster2012 oh the zoo - enjoy! I'm so jealous! DH was taking about taking the twins to the zoo for the first time in the next couple of weeks but I'll be 32 weeks pregnant this weekend and have awful back ache so not sure I'm up to a full day on my feet at the moment 😢

@Minster2012 morning sickness is the work of the devil. Vomiting triggered my TMD and I’ve been in excruciating pain most of last week. Yesterday and today is the best I’ve felt in ages but my jaw is still sore. How are you doing?

I had my 16 week check at midwives today.
Flu jag, whooping cough jag and 2 lots of blood as I'm very pale, getting out of breath going up and down stairs and could sleep all day. So checking iron and ferritin levels.

I'm off to sleep back to work tomorrow.
Can't wait to finish up work xx

@Minster2012 it's your scan tomorrow isn't it :) ahhh how you feeling? Has the bleeding and cramping stopped?

I'm 6wk 1 day today and we have a viability scan booked in for nest Friday 21st? At 7wk 4days, OH is looking forward to it...me somewhat dreading it... but at the same time nervous to see its little heartbeat! (Hopefully they can see it) nausea has been a constant feeling the past few days and I'm so bloated I look like I'm 4 months gone by 5pm 🤦‍♀️ also... predicament.... who's kept their babies gender a surprise until birth before? I really don't want to know until its born, but OH really wants to know... ahh what do we do? Lol hope everyone else is doing well!

@Florence13 yeah should be fine today, still feel basically nothing 😬and it's strange hearing @Hopeful110 and @2020mission for instance saying about being past my "weeks" now or the same, like I changed my app to reflect what the scan said last week so I'm now being told I'm 6 weeks today which IF a scan shows I will be happy with long as it's a growing baby, but it's strange to think ppl got BFPs after me & are "further ahead" IYSWIM, @Hopeful110 no more bleeding I've been taking it real easy but no symptoms either except maybe headache from it but I'm prone to headaches anyway

We disagree about finding out the gender @Hopeful110, I'm the one that likes to know, DH would prefer a surprise but he just leaves it to me as he knows I would then whinge! I'm also not a fan of just white /grey/yellow /mint baby clothes, I like bright colours so it helps to know for that

Tiredness is killing me at the min, had my second risk assessment with HR yesterday and just said I'm not going back out on the road visiting people now, no point, can do it via zoom and phone calls, they seem happy with that so I'm feeling very relieved.

@Minster2012 I'm sure I've read other threads where people were showing a bit behind on early scans but then caught up when they reached the 12 week scan. That could be you? I'm guessing we all grow babies at different rates and nothings textbook.

Has anyone else still got a bit of pregnancy envy even when pregnant?? My old childhood best friend just posted on social media today saying she's expecting her third and it's due a month before I'm due and for some reason I'm still a bit annoyed. Jumping in there with a third with a better and earlier due date 😅 I think it's down to that whole idea of... oh I fancy having another baby and the next month pregnant. It's always going to hurt knowing people are catching easily. Also when I know there's ladies on MN still desperately trying who deserve it. Please do tell me if I'm being unreasonable feeling like that!

@2020mission yeah that's hopefully the case and I def get pregnancy envy of ppl further on cos I just want the reassurance of being further along than anything else
