@Kate105 ooh exciting! I've read up and done lots of research and I think I'm going to go for it with the jab, Pfizer is recommended. That's if I'm lucky enough o be offered one again before trimester 3...

@SamoyedFan123 wow! That's a big bubba!

@Sausage1990 I just don't know what to say, sending you all the love ❀️ really hope this doesn't happen for you or anyone else on here again 🌈

Glad you got some sleep sausage, 🀞🀞🀞 you get the all clear to go home soon xxx

Katiekattty · 14/05/2021 09:50

I don’t have words @Sausage1990 but sending you lots healing and positive energy

Florence13 · 14/05/2021 09:50

@Sausage1990 aww hun don’t apologise we are all here for support. Sorry you ended up with medical management but glad it all came away and it hasn’t been as painful. Really hoping you never have to endure this again and you get the rainbow you deserve.

@Kate105 glad all went well with your scan and yay for the vaccine to!

@SamoyedFan123 gosh you are growing a good size baby bless you. Are you feeling any more movements?

SamoyedFan123 · 14/05/2021 10:02

@Florence13 yes, i think he's taking after me - I was a humongous ten and a half pound baby and this one's on course for 10 pounds too 😳 I have been feeling more movements this past week - still nothing really during the day but getting quite a bit in the evenings now so not having to go for monitoring every day thank goodness.

Florence13 · 14/05/2021 11:00

@SamoyedFan123 oh gosh yes that would be a good size, glad your feeling more movements ☺️

Kirky658 · 14/05/2021 12:06

Just had a call from the MAU, heart was in my mouth, the swab came back with thrush AGAIN so I've got to drive to the MAU, get the prescription, then go to the hospital pharmacy to collect it.. Ffs!

2020mission · 14/05/2021 12:09

@Kirky658 do they regularly test for that during pregnancy? I would have panicked having a call from them too πŸ˜… glad it's just that though! Do you have any symptoms? At my last smear, my doctor said I had thrush but honestly I hadn't noticed any itching, pain or what they call cottage cheese like discharge so it puzzled me! Took the pessary anyway. Can you not pick up a prescription at a nearer pharmacy? Seems a faff to have to trail to the hospital for that.

Kirky658 · 14/05/2021 15:54

@2020mission 2 hours later I am back. Apparently hospital ward prescriptions can only be dispensed at their pharmacy.. Wtaf. The only 'symptom' I have is a lot of discharge but wouldn't say its unusual! They did a swab as part of the examination when I was in the MAU last week. Just something else to talk to midwife about as I was treated for thrush a month ago. X

Justanothercyster · 15/05/2021 08:15

@Kirky658 oh no! That's sucks, but at least it'll get sorted for you.

It's gone quiet here... how are you all? I've had 2 migraines (with aura) this week ☹️ must be hormones. I have had migraines before but usually like once a year, if that. I would usually have migraleve pills for the nausea and headache with it but for some reason this time the headache and sickness never kicked in and I've just had the vision and pins and needles part of the migraine. Hopefully this will ease off when I reach the second trimester 🀞

We told our parents/siblings yesterday about our news so feels more real now. Everyone took the news well although my mum went "SIXTEEN MONTHS??" when I told her how long it had taken us to conceive. Clearly she had an easy time TTC in her day πŸ˜…

lucyrp · 15/05/2021 17:47

@2020mission one of my colleagues always sympathised when I said how long it was taking us ttc but don't think she ever knew quite how it felt as she had 5 kids and said they never had to try 🧐

Kirky658 · 15/05/2021 18:03

@2020mission sorry to hear about your parents being like that, people eh! Nice that youve shared your news too ❀️ we drove up to Ikea today to get a chest of drawers and had a five guys for lunch omg it was amazing xxx

Thinkingandblinking · 15/05/2021 20:45

Yep all ok here! IKEA for us too, and then Costco pizza....if I can’t drink I’m going to enjoy eating. Last pregnancy I had to be really careful due to G-Diabeties...test came back clear this week....yay!

2020mission · 15/05/2021 20:53

@Thinkingandblinking @Kirky658 ohh the pizza and five guys (burger?) sound good! I can't wait to get my appetite back and enjoy tucking into those again πŸ˜… but I really can't complain as I haven't actually been sick once so far.

@lucyrp how long was it for you again? My mum was nice but her shock at the 16 months really shows how little people know about it all. I half expected her to ask "are you sure you were doing it right?" 🀣 how's your belly piercing doing by the way, still in?

Kirky658 · 15/05/2021 21:29

@2020mission billion percent burger! Little cheeseburger for me 😍
@thinkingandblinking good news on the GD, I think because my parents are both diabetic my MW wants me to have that test done too. Get anything good from IKEA? DH just finished building our chest of drawers 😍

SamoyedFan123 · 15/05/2021 21:44

Love a five guys, but I'm a veggie so just have the fries and a milk shake - their millionaire shortbread milkshakes are amazing!
My twins turned 2 yesterday and we've had their birthday party today - they've been absolutely spoiled rotten and are so over tired and over stimulated that they are refusing to go to bed πŸ™„ Doing that at 32 weeks pregnant may have been one of the hardest days of my life! πŸ˜‚ So exhausted now.
Hope everyone else is doing OK and having a nice weekend xxx

lucyrp · 15/05/2021 23:05

@2020mission it was 16 months for us too but I think people thought it was a really long time because I'm so young even though that means literally nothing. That's how I felt πŸ™„πŸ˜… yeah still in at the moment! The amount of people who have said why haven't you taken it out yet ...😬

Thinkingandblinking · 16/05/2021 07:40

Just market place mooch for us for some house plants and bits and bobs!

@Kirky658 yeah my brother has type 1 so that’s why I had mine last time that picked it up!

Well done @SamoyedFan123 that is a serious endurance effort! Xx

Thinkingandblinking · 16/05/2021 07:48

Also on taking a while to fall, on the flip side, I fall quickly but have been told that could be part of the problem with the recurrent miscarriage, so maybe you just have awesome quality control xx

Sausage1990 · 16/05/2021 12:04

Hi girls just wanted to let you know.im doing ok. I'm home after 3days in hospital.

I've popped an update from the last few days on the main bus, it's on page 37 if you want to read. I don't want to put it all here as I'm so aware that some might find it hard to read about miscarriage when you're anxious already. There's nothing tmi on there but it's hard if you're already anxious so don't feel any pressure too read it. πŸ’•

Kirky658 · 16/05/2021 16:05

@sausage1990 I did have a read this morning. Sending you so much love and hugs, you are so strong. ❀️πŸ’ͺπŸ€—

SamoyedFan123 · 16/05/2021 20:02

@Sausage1990 glad you are home now and hopefully taking it easy. Look after yourself xxx

Justanothercyster · 17/05/2021 06:44

@Sausage1990 glad you're home and ok (as you can be) x

Hey girls, hope everyone had a lovely weekend it was my first full weekend off in ages and the weather was absolutely disgusting so we basically did nothing all weekend but was nice to just relax as I never seem to do that on my days off πŸ™„ all change today in work as we are now allowed to seat customers inside so can't wait for that ... not πŸ˜… what have you all been up to ?
