Anyone just got their BFP and due in Jan 2022?

Hi all!

Just got my BFP! Approximately 3 weeks and 6 days. Due date calculator has put me to give birth around 8th January. Feeling so nervous, have had two MCs and then thankfully a much loved DC. Symptoms currently are extremely sore boobs, mild cramping, and upper hip / thigh pain on my right leg! Would love to chat to others who've just found out and want somewhere to refer back to!

@RHODXB yay! Hoping to get mine this week!

Just booked an early scan for 23 May. Seems like ages away. I didn't want to book it this early in case anything happens but it looks like they're all booking up quickly. Going to be a long 2 and half weeks wait..

@bages1977 thank you 🙏 To be honest I know it doesn't really mean anything as they are not supposed to be the most reliable but Just clinging to all and any hopes at the mo! Roll on our scans! X

I'm having some very light pink bleeding today now too. Nothing when I wipe but I spotted it in pants and now have a pad on just so I can keep track in case this turns to something
What a cruel turn of events to be excited by getting 3+ on the digi today to then a couple of hours later having this happen :(

@RHODXB I know what you mean, it makes you feel better doesn't it!

@willithappen try and not worry about it too much if it's light pink and hardly anything. I've head of all sorts of reasons for a little bit of spotting. Me and my partner had sex 2 nights ago for the first time since I got my BFP and I was spotting a little after that but it stopped quite quickly. Couldn't be anything like that could it? Just keep an eye on it for now

Hi all! Quick question, has anyones cramps completely stopped? I can’t tell if it’s a good thing or not! I’m worried that somethings wrong cause things aren’t “growing”? Someone slap some sense into me please 😂 x

Can I join please? I got my BFP a week ago - think I’m about 5+2 today so should be due early January.

@willithappen how are you doing this morning? From everything I’ve read it can be common to spot at this stage, so all my fingers are crossed for you!

@Firsttry132 my cramping has stopped too! I’m trying not to worry about it but it is a bit unsettling, isn’t it? It was reassuring when I could feel that things were happening!

Mine have pretty much stopped. Pain when I do a funny movement like sneezing sometimes but that's about it!

@Firsttry132 mine have eased off a lot! I've started to spot brown though 😢 I know it can go one or two ways as had brown spotting with DD but also with my first MC. Just so tired of being so anxious!

I’m opposite, my cramps have started today again and it actually makes me more anxious. I know it’s normal but I can’t help but worry. I just want to make it eight weeks and then 12 weeks and I might start relaxing more.

My cramps seem to get really bad one day and then ease off the next. Either way I start worrying!

@Katiekattty that's ho I feel as well with wanting to reach 8 and 12 weeks. These first few weeks are awful. My first milestone is 6 weeks which I thought would be next Monday but I think my dates might be wrong and I'm a little behind what I thought I was!

Got a scan at around 7-8 weeks. Can't wait for that

@Katiekattty next Wednesday will be my 6 week mark if I am a little behind what I thought I was!

I booked a scan yesterday. I didn't want to book it this early because it seemed to be like tempting fate but when I looked at the times available, most appointments outside working hours were getting booked up. Hopefully everything will still all be ok when the time comes

Does anyone else have basically no symptoms? I’m about 5.5 weeks and no cramps, no sore boobs, bit of bloating but that’s it. Couple of very mild twinges from time to time. Hoping it kicks in at 6 weeks. Weird thing to say instead of enjoying having none I know!!

Hello! I'm also due in early January. So far I also have zero symptoms @Pamparam - but I didn't have any with my DS either so trying not to worry!

Keep running to the loo to check if the brown spotting / discharge has turned red  I just have such an awful feeling this one won't stick..ugh. Mild cramping started up again, boobs still sore but not as bad. That's it really! Nausea is very very sparse.

@Pamparam I think it's really common to have no symptoms! Some ladies are lucky and just have absolutely nothing with perfect pregnancies 

@Benji17 welcome and huge congratulations! We like to poke our boobs a lot and knicker check a lot (well, mostly me Grin) really nice having somewhere to come and jot down thoughts and anxieties! How many weeks are you?

I have a scan booked with clinic for 20th May so fingers crossed everything is okay for then! :)

When does the bloating stop?????? I’ve been bloated since Sunday. I actually look pregnant or pregnant er 😂😂😂😂. Weight loss plan was supposed to start this much

@zeromango @willithappen hope it stops for you both. I'm expecting to have some spotting with the cramps I've been getting. Fingers crossed we're ok!

Roll on early scans, will be such a relief to get to that point 🤞🙌

No pink today as of yet, I keep running to toilet though thinking something will be there but nothing. Clinic did day as long as it's not red it's okay just now. Another two week wait for me to get to scan 🙈

My scan is on the 23rd. We've just got over the tww to see if we're pregnant and now another tww for the scan 🙈 Never known time for so slow!

@Missingcoffee22 seems like a good time for me as I think I'm somewhere between 5 weeks and 5w 4d at the moment. So should be around 7-8 weeks by then.
