Anyone just got their BFP and due in Jan 2022?

Hi all!

Just got my BFP! Approximately 3 weeks and 6 days. Due date calculator has put me to give birth around 8th January. Feeling so nervous, have had two MCs and then thankfully a much loved DC. Symptoms currently are extremely sore boobs, mild cramping, and upper hip / thigh pain on my right leg! Would love to chat to others who've just found out and want somewhere to refer back to!

Hi ladies
Please can I tentatively join
I got a BFP on Wednesday, I have a DD and since TTC #2 have had four chemical/ early miscarriages.

My anxiety is super high not helped by having had some lower abdominal discomfort.

I am taking progesterone suppositories on the advice of the recurrent miscarriage clinic. So feeling pretty rubbish overall from taking them!

My BFP this time is much stronger than any of the others, and showing good line progression. But I am so so on edge I feel like I can't breathe!

My estimated due date would be 30th of January I think! I'll be unlikely to go over as I had DD via emergency c section.

I am too scared to even think this is going to be a thing just yet 😩

Tests are 12 and 14dpo (which is today) 🤞🏼

Looking forward to hearing all your stories xx

@Blueeyedgirl21 has there been much more? I don't think there's much to do immediately, I would ring EPU in the morning & get their advise. Easier said that done to not panic it doesn't necessarily mean anything bad but big hugs for you.. stressful night ❤️

Blueeyedgirl21 · 23/05/2021 22:24

@LilmissCa no nothing more. I think I’ll ring the epu in the morning. Weirdly enough it was after my tummy went all gurgly and crampy and I had diarrhea (TMI majorly!!) maybe the two are connected.

Blueeyedgirl21 · 23/05/2021 22:25

@LilmissCa ps thanks for the reply x

Crossing fingers for you @blackcurrantqueen - you are about the same as me, dd 29/01 based on ovulation, slightly later if based on last af. Feel for you with the worry, I had a MC in December and had a couple of CPs recently, hoping this is it for both of us!

Hello all. Can I join you please? Got my bfp(s!) last week following a miscarriage. I'm 4+3. First baba for us. Really hoping this little seed sticks around for the long run.

There are a few of these Jan 2022 groups going, and it seems I have joined them all! 🙈 @MessyBob89 I saw mention of a Facebook group, or groups. Please can you send me the links? Thank you!! 🙃

MessyBob89 · 24/05/2021 20:31

nellieee · 24/05/2021 21:14

@MessyBob89 @Missingcoffee22 thanks both!!

nellieee · 24/05/2021 21:14

@MessyBob89 sorry, hit send all excited. Have you got any children or is this your first?

ChisangaFS · 24/05/2021 22:50

@Blueeyedgirl21

Ugh I’ve just had some pink discharge when I wiped after the loo. I have no pain ... what do you guys think I should do?? See how it goes? Has anyone else experienced this? Am 6 weeks 3 days
I experienced this at 5+3 and got really freaked out. I went to the toilet at 3am and saw some brownish watery discharge. I ended up going to the EPU later that day after seeing a small clot but everything looked fine on the scan and I was discharged. Didn't really get an explanation as to why I had a bleed but apparently it's normal in the first trimester. The spotting stopped later that day and I've been gone since. Got a scan in 2 weeks time so fingers crossed bub is okay.!
MessyBob89 · 24/05/2021 23:05

@Missingcoffee22 no worries, I wasn't even sure if mine sent initially 🙈

@nellieee first for me too! I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks just before Christmas which was heartbreaking for us, really hope this is it and it sticks! x

blackcurrantqueen · 25/05/2021 06:11

Please could somebody message me the Facebook link 🥰 xx

Blueeyedgirl21 · 25/05/2021 12:25

@ChisangaFS thank you. It worries me because I was having some hip pain and pain almost in my bottom rib and convinced myself I was having an ectopic. No pain today though and no more discharge or anything like that.

Hi all,

I posted on here when I first found out 3 weeks ago but not since.

Currently 7 weeks, registered with the midwife via an online application form - does anyone have any idea of when I might find out when my first appt is (it's my 1st so a bit clueless)? I know the booking appt is usually between 8 and 10 weeks and will vary area to area but didn't know how far in advance you would normally get your appt through. Need to think of creative excuses to take time off work Grin

Thinking of paying for an early scan 8/9 weeks for some reassurance as finding the wait between finding out and actually seeing someone a bit long!

penny92 · 26/05/2021 07:20

I’m 8+4 and have my booking in appointment a week today, so that’ll be 9+4. I got the letter for that appointment about a week ago. My 12 week scan appointment came through on Monday just gone and that’ll be on 24th June so 12+5.
I’ve already had 2 scans at the EPU but if I hadn’t I would definitely recommend an early scan for reassurance if you can afford it.

Trixabelle84 · 26/05/2021 17:32

@penny92

That's really helpful thank you! Hopefully I will get my appt through in the next week or so.

I think I will go for an early scan, probably late next week/early the week after. Would be good to know if things are progressing as they should be!

zeromango · 31/05/2021 10:24

Hi all! Sorry I've been absolutely useless at keeping up with this thread but wanted to say private scan at 8 weeks went perfect, strong heartbeat and now just another mere 4 weeks wait until the next one! How are we all getting on? Seems very varied with midwife care, I have handheld notes and next appointment is at 16 weeks in person. Does anyone know if they still use Dopplers in those appointments to check the heartbeat?
