I am not having a good day. I am on and off I have had dead arms and legs and feeling faint and dizzy. Then I had some blood in my cervical fluid. I have been trying my best to be full on positive this pregnancy but feeling knocked down today. Has anyone else had any spotting or the numbness? I just want my 12 week scan, to be sure everything is ok!

@pixiedust21 I have just started to get my appetite back. Managed to eat peppers, mushrooms, cucumber and fruit today. You will get there!! Are you super excited for the scan?? This is your first isnt it?

Hi @Cpr12 I had bleeding in my last pregnancy (Chorionic hematoma) and although I was scary at the time I was all ok
Depending on the quantity maybe give your local epas a wee call or even if your worried or stressed about which I know how hard it is not to be 💖.
Epas units are so helpful the midwives there are lovely and am sure they'll put your mind at ease they might even offer you an early scan to make sure everything is ok and put your mind at ease.

@sargeantsaltnpepper89 I did phone epu she was not worried at all, but said I just have to wait for my scan. I felt slightly better for it, but even on the day I was admitted to hospital last time they thought nothing was wrong, so find it hard to settle. Just need to shake this feeling. I am never normally low or negative so it always knocks me for 6. Thank you for your kind words x

@Cpr12 I haven't had any bleeding or numbness personally but try not to worry about it I have lots of friends who have had bleeding throughout there pregnancy and still gone on to have healthy babies! Just try to relax and not overthink too much, I know it's easier said than done! Hope you feel better soon 💜

Called the midwife team again today as now 10 weeks and still no booking appointment, she just called me back saying she thought she had spoke to me weeks ago as there was a tick next to my name in her book lol. On the plus side i'm now booked in for a phone appointment on Friday afternoon! I expressed my concern about lack of symptoms the whole way through and she didn't seem too concerned just said I may be one of the lucky ones or they may hit harder in 2nd trimester.

@jl2020 thanks! And good news on your appointment, glad you finally have it! My best friend has 2 girls and in both pregnancies had no symptoms, just wanted to eat loads so I am sure all will be fine with you too. I just wish we could have a wee check in on them every day! Xx

@Cpr12 thankyou! I just have to keep reminding myself last time I had all the symptoms and it resulted in a miscarriage so doesn't always mean everything's ok I guess. As much as I'm looking forward to a scan in a few weeks I'm also dreading it!
Oh I know if only we could all just keep a little ultrasound machine at home to check on them whenever we like lol xx

@jl2020 pregnancy after loss is tough! We will get through it though. Already a quarter of the way!! It would be so nice to see them move every day. Maybe for the time our kids have kids haha! Xx

I'm so tired lately and so sick of the sickness. Counting down the days til the 12 week scan, 2 weeks today!

Also...Anybody else's nips feel like they're being sliced with glass when you're drying off after a shower? 🥴😂

Sorry to hear you ladies are having a rough time of it. It was my daughters first birthday today and I felt lousy all day, ended up in bed for a couple of hours and DH took over.. I've not known guilt like it 😭
He suprised me with a little paddling pool he ordered off Argos for her tomorrow as apparently we're having a heatwave! 🤞 just hoping I feel a bit more human. I feel like a shell of a woman I once was at the minute and I'm bloody constipated as well to top it all off.

Only thing I am looking forward to is my 12 week scan tomorrow, even though it's my 2nd time I'm still petrified though. Are you ladies having the screening for downs etc?

@Cpr12 yes it's our first baby, very excited for scan - tinged with some nerves and irrational thoughts - "what if there's nothing in there and I've imagined this whole thing!" Etc. 🙄

My partner wanted to watch it so we watched it tonight. It’s quite sweet.
I think my partner is feeling anxious about what kind of dad he will be.

What a lovely scan. I can't wait for my 12 weeks scan in two weeks (will be 12+5 then).
I have zero symptoms, though my jeans are starting to be a bit tight. Not sure whether that's the pregnancy or the lockdown bum though! Are any of you starting to widen around the midsection yet?

Omg @lilomum definitely 😂 my belly is so bloated it's crazy. I'm having to wear dresses to work everyday because my work trousers don't fasten any more 😂

My 12 week scan is in 2 weeks too. So nervous but excited for it.

@mooloop definitely with you on the nips! Plus they seem to stick out so much more when erect, they kind of pucker and hurt

Oh I'm glad it's not just me. It seems early but I feel I'm also less tolerant to tight trousers around my belly so maybe it's more being sensitive to it than starting to actually gain. I can't remember when I started to feel a difference in my first pregnancy but pretty sure it was later than 10/11 weeks!
I'm thankfully working from home so it's joggers all the way for me at the moment!

@whitershadeofpale haha totally! I was trying to explain this to DH the other day and he just looked baffled 😂

@lilomum I definitely can't wear jeans anymore I don't particularly feel any bigger or even bloated yet but anything around my middle does feel much more uncomfortable than it used to and even my trackies are starting to feel tight so I'm literally wearing leggings every day 😂

I am so much bigger this time than last time, but I have stopped all exercise and cut my walking right back. So defo a mix of just generally putting on weight and baby. But my belly is fairly solid.
