@MyGrassIsBrowner This is DC3 for us. The nerves don't seem to get any easier 🙈 Paddling pool is out, kids in swimwear and ice lollies I the freezer. It's still not hot though! 🤣 So British! Good luck lovely. Speak soon x

Apparently it's warmest is around 3pm today.. so will be fun for us wearing a mask sat in a boiling hot hospital 😆

Have been out to buy two boxes of ice lollies Struggling to eat again and after 12 weeks of no sickness, suddenly threw up this morning after opening the cat food box.... so that took me by surprise a bit.

Just sticking to ice lollies for the rest of the day I think !

@pixiedust21 thank you hunny! Dont blame you on the ice lollies front, they definitely help! That and make sure you have a fan to hand as it's really getting warmer now 🥵

I really feel for you ladys with the heatwave 💖 where I am in scotland its absolutely freezing 🥶 lol don't think I could handle heat and sickness 🙈I keep having random waves of hot and cold which I don't remember having with my other 2DC and when I'm hot I feel absolutely vile😩 been feeling a bit today so hopefully sickness is easing of as the last couple of day I have been sick a few times each day with all day nausea feeling 🙃 eldest has brought a lovely bug home from school which has went through the full house so hopefully that's on its way out the door 🚪 👋 😅

@sargeantsaltnpepper89 Oh you're not missing much hun! I love the summer but not when pregnant it's bloody awful.
So sorry you're suffering with the sickness. I hope it passes for you soon! Oh noooo hopefully the bug does one!! That's the last thing you need to be contending with! 😭

@sargeantsaltnpepper89 I am in scotland too. It is actually not too bad out there today, in a coat and scarf 😂 but with you, glad to be cool. Heat is not what I want right now!

I got my scan through today. Not until 22nd April. Feels ages away (I’ll be 13+4) but I’m also really nervous.

I had bloods taken today and it was a bit of a palaver (crap veins) but all ok, but since then I’ve been really lightheaded and dizzy whenever I stand up. Has anyone had this?

Oh man, just got a call from my midwife. She saw me out walking the dogs this morning and wanted to check I was feeling ok as I looked really unwell. 😂😂😂 very grateful I have a midwife who cares, but clearly I look terrible, good to know!

@Cpr12 oh wow!! 😂 doubt my midwife would know me if I passed her on the street haha.

Are you in a very small / rural area?

But yes not a great boost for the self esteem I guess!!

Like when people say "oh you look really tired!" .... "yeah thanks." 😂

Had my scan, everything was great apart from a very wriggly unco-operative little baba haha! I have been told I need a glucose test in June as my BMI is 30.5.... damn 🙄 so bit worried about that but just glad baby was fine! X

@pixiedust21 I live in the city, but have 2 very distinctive dogs. But I do believe she is also actually an excellent midwife, I think I have really lucked out! I am ok, just rough after a tough day yesterday. Got my positive pants back on again today haha!

@MyGrassIsBrowner Yeay for the amazing scan pic!!! Congratulations! My bmi is 32.5, I've had the glucose test done with both previous DCs it's really not anything to worry about I'm in Bucks and they're doing it by blood not as opposed to the drink so that's good news!

Happy scan here. Measuring 13+1 which is what I was expecting so due date of October 4th

@HappyVibesxo I'm worried about potentially needing induction. Did you have induction with yours? I have my heart set on a homebirth this time round but I guess I'll just have to wait and see for now. They said my test is two lots of blood and the drink inbetween 🤢 congrats on your scan, baby looks just blumming lovely!!! 🥰
