I'm probably one of the first to find out, as there are no other chats! Based off of last period I'm due December 2nd! Got my first positive early at 9dpo.
Anyone else with me yet???

@Tabbycat92 my boobs are awful too, so sore and heavy. I already have huge boobs...I don't need them growing any more 🤣 I'm feeling really light headed a lot right now. I don't have any nausea yet thankfully, but keep feeling really hungry, and then don't feel like eating once it's in front of me. Yeah I'm also still getting the odd cramp/ache but nothing too bad. The tiredness hasn't hit me yet, but I've heard it's bad 🥴 So glad you started this thread, it's great to go through it with others x

@Kann88 snap! I’m due on the last day of November. I took an early pregnancy test and got my BFP. Af is due on the 24th so will take a normal test then. Congratulations x

Kann88 · 21/03/2021 20:45

I've been looking up early scans today and been umming and aahhing. I suffer with bad anxiety and obviously now I'm pregnant but so early, every twinge or cramp has me worrying. Not sure if an early scan will help or hinder this!

On another note, my god the exhaustion hit me today! I felt hungover 😂

Kann88 · 21/03/2021 20:46

Congratulations to you! AF was due last Monday so I tested last Tues. Feels like weeks ago already!

lucea87 · 21/03/2021 21:06

My boobs are killing too. They've been killing since 2DPO, same with feeling sick, I've felt sick for a week already but it's really intensified since Thursday I would say. It was quite bad this morning. I keep getting mild indigestion too.

I've got 1,738,728 tests so I'll do another FRER to hopefully watch my line develop. I've got cb digi's too which I'm saving for when AF is due which is weds/thurs.

Tabbycat92 · 21/03/2021 21:29

@lucea87 I'm the same, I'm testing every morning at the moment 😂 also got digis on the way to try out later in the week 😁

@Mrsbg1990 congratulations! 🥳🥳

@Kann88 I think I'd definitely too nervous to go at 6 weeks due to stories, but from 8+ weeks I think it should be pretty reassuring. Everyone's totally different though. I personally am too impatient to wait until 12 weeks 🤣

@lucea87 bless you feeling sick already. Hopefully it doesn't go into full blown sickness 😭 Have you been sick or just feeling it?

@Tabbycat92 I've got 1 more digi in the cupboard so going to wait and do that too. Think I'll wait 1.5 weeks from the last one to hopefully see it move.

I love how many people on here are peeing on sticks constantly. Everyone is at it. Makes you feel normal 🤣

sarby21 · 22/03/2021 03:36

Hi everyone! I hope it's okay if I join in as well! I got my BFP on Saturday (20 March) at 12 DPO. I took a First Response with the pink lines, and before the 3 minutes were up I could see a very solid line. I was just in disbelief! I took a First Response Digital the next day, and a Clear Blue Digital which came up with a "YES" and a "PREGNANT - 2-3 weeks" which really shocked me! According to the app I downloaded, I am due on 29 November 2021 but this has not been confirmed.

I had a miscarriage in January which was my first ever pregnancy at 6 weeks. I got my period within a month on 22 February, and then we thought we would at least start trying in case it would take a long time for me to get pregnant. I did not expect that we would get pregnant again on our first cycle then BOOM! I used the clearblue digital ovulation tracker , and got flashing and solid smiley so made sure to DTD based on those results. I am thrilled it worked, but also I feel tentative and scared as my miscarriage was so traumatic for me.

I have booked in with my doctor this week to check bloods just for my own peace of mind. I have a feeling my HCG levels will be a lot higher than last time, as I registered 2-3 weeks on clearblue at 13 DPO!

Any advice for me would be greatly appreciated. This is my second pregnancy, besides the miscarriage and I have no other kids. I'm 31. I have only told hubby and nobody else at this stage. No symptoms yet except some heartburn and slight queasiness feeling.

Thanks, Sarah

Tabbycat92 · 22/03/2021 06:36

Hi @sarby21 welcome and congratulations! I'm so sorry to hear of your miscarriage, it's such a hard thing to go through. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that this is a nice sticky bean!

Thank you so much @Tabbycat92 that means so much! I hope so too!!! Excited for my doctors appointment on Wednesday to get my bloods done! Xx

CCG92 · 22/03/2021 09:11

@sarby21 so sorry to hear what you've been through, it must have been awful. Congratulations though!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you that this is the one! ♥️

sarby21 · 22/03/2021 09:39

Thank you so much @CCG92! I hope so too!!! Fingers crossed! How far along are you? Xx

CCG92 · 22/03/2021 12:51

@sarby21 I'm 4+3 from what I've worked out. I spoke to my GP this morning to find out if a medication I take is still safe. She gave me the number to phone and refer myself to the midwives, but I'm too nervous to phone. I don't want to jinx it 🤣 x

Tabbycat92 · 22/03/2021 13:02

@CCG92 I need to find out the same. I have a steroid nasal spray I use and wanna know if its safe to still use it. However my GP has been busy all day 😔

CCG92 · 22/03/2021 13:07

@Tabbycat92 aww that's annoying, hopefully you'll hear from them soon.

I take a strong prescribed anti histamine every day, so wanted to check about that. The doctor said there is no evidence of harm to baby, but she's going to check with the pharmacist to find out if there's a better one to be on instead.

We booked our early scan last night as they don't have many dates/days. All starting to feel a bit real 🥴🥰

Tabbycat92 · 22/03/2021 13:17

@CCG92 Oh wow! That's certainly something to look forward to. I might look at booking one too!

@Tabbycat92 so exciting, but also hoping and praying that everything will be ok, as it's just a week and a half before our wedding 🤞🏼

I'll be 9+1 on the day of the scan, I think. That could obviously change though once we're there.

CCG92 · 22/03/2021 13:34

Ps, if anyone lives in Scotland - the website 'babyscanning' has a massive discount right now on their early scans. X

queenatom · 22/03/2021 14:27

Hello everyone - can I join? Got a positive on Thursday morning at 11 DPO and currently 4+1 based on when I think I ovulated (3+6 based on LMP). I'd be due around 28 November.

This was Cycle 11 of trying for us and we were starting to think about next steps, so I'm very excited but also very, very anxious that things won't work out! Just trying to take each day as it comes - like lots of others here I'm still testing obsessively but I think it's making things worst so want to try to stop. Will definitely be looking to book an early reassurance scan but like others I've heard more negative than positive stories about having them around 6 weeks so going to try and hold on until the 8 week mark.

Tabbycat92 · 22/03/2021 14:46

Hi @queenatom and welcome! Congratulations on your positive! I bet that felt amazing and such a shock after 11 months of trying! Is this your first?

@CCG92 how much is an early scan where you are? They're more expensive than I imagined

OP posts:
CCG92 · 22/03/2021 14:51

@queenatom woohooo congrats!! You must be so happy, especially after thinking about next steps. Fingers crossed all goes well 🤞🏼♥️

@Tabbycat92 there's two places here that do it. One place is £70. The other is £90, but they have it reduced right now to £45 so I thought that was great! 👍🏼 They have clinic across Scotland, and see to have offers on at most of those locations right now. How much are they by you? x

queenatom · 22/03/2021 15:32

Hi @Tabbycat92 - yes, I was 100% convinced we weren't going to get there without assistance, definitely caught me by surprise, particularly as I had tested the day before and it was negative - was only double-checking because I was due to receive some medication that day which isn't pregnancy safe. That appointment has now been parked for the foreseeable! This will be our first baby.

@CCG92 - yes, fingers definitely crossed! I'm hoping in a few days some of the anxiety might pass. My best friend has just had two early losses on the trot so it's never far from my mind at the moment.

Tabbycat92 · 22/03/2021 15:43

@CCG92 theyre £59 here, so I suppose it could be worse.

CCG92 · 22/03/2021 15:43

@queenatom aww bless you. It is such a worrying time. From the moment you start trying conceive it's just worry, worry, worry! 🤦🏻‍♀️

CCG92 · 22/03/2021 15:44

@Tabbycat92 ahh that's actually cheap compared to here then! Lucky I got the discount and didn't have to pay £70!
