Just had my 16 week midwife appointment this morning! They were lovely! They went through any questions I had, talked about blood tests and urine test results which we’re all ok. Did my blood pressure and then listened to the heart beat!! I feel so lucky with not every trust doing it at the moment.

I was able to record it on to my phone also which was nice, I wasn’t sure if they would be ok with it.

I have an anterior placenta so it took a while to hear the heartbeat and I was panicking but got there in the end! A good strong heartbeat of 160!!

My appointment was about 30 mins but I had a student midwife in with the main midwife too so was a learning process at the same time 💚😊

@cheryllw that's brilliant! 160 wow that's what mine is when I'm running it's amazing how fast they are isn't it xx

CherylLW · 25/03/2021 10:50

@Kirky658 it was so fast! I can’t believe how fast their heartbeats are!! Makes me feel slightly more relaxed about my early scan Saturday ❤️

Anyone good with starting a new thread? I think we only have about 20 more spaces available for posts!! I’m not good with all that otherwise I would try 🙈

Hey Ladies how are we? I've just started doing some spring cleaning. No heavy lifting etc. But I'm using bleach and dettol, should I stop using these products? Are there pregnancy kind products that I can use instead?
I've got a reassurance scan in 2 weeks. Glad I booked it in, don't think I could have waiting until 20 weeks. We're doing so much house stuff over Easter. New patio, decluttering. What are you ladies up to?

Bubbles1st · 27/03/2021 15:54

@Sillysocks998 look at the previous post... we have moved again! Haven't given the cleaning products a second thought just making sure I have a window open.

I have sorted out so much stuff this week. Packed away all my clothes which won't fit for a year nearly!

Tidied my loft, cupboard under the stairs.

Bit early for nesting but know it will all get harder the longer I leave it!

Sillysocks998 · 27/03/2021 18:04

@Bubbles1st oh wow you are busy. Just dont forget to stop if it feels too much. I'm finding decluttering hard. Feel like I want to throw everything out lol. Being ruthless. But a decluttered house is a decluttered mind. I'm. Thinking that about my clothes. I do want nice maternity clothes tho I've been living in pj's before 12 weeks and I'm feeling abit mehhh. I agree it will feel harder the longer you leave it. I plan to do a little each weekend and over the Easter break to get it started. Nesting ❤️ were so similar to animals

Hi I’m pregnant with my first child I am 16+2 weeks and today I feel like the baby is stood up on the left side everytime I sit down I get lots of strong flutters in my belly and then they stop when I stand up... is this normal to feel at this stage I’m very uncomfortable and am feeling lots of movement today.

Chlo1999 · 28/03/2021 13:49

Please don’t judge I’m just curious

Bubbles1st · 28/03/2021 18:01

@Chlo1999 hi if you look a few posts before you will see we have all moved over to a new thread. Do come abs join us.

Reference the movement it seems it is so different for everyone and many factors can play a part like your weight and the position of your placenta, if you been pregnant before.

So it could be movement, it might not be. If it was movement it is to early for it to have any pattern so if it goes there is nothing to worry about.

Bubbles1st · 28/03/2021 18:02

@Chlo1999 ps we are due date twins :)
