@adventuresawait cool. Thanks for letting me know. I always worry about the silliest things 😅 I was considering stopping taking pregnacare as its so expensive but I feel like I'm jinxing myself if I do, lol x

Hey ladies, those of you taking aspirin, ive just picked mine up and I'm on 75mg twice a day. I just had a random thought if it would be OK to keep taking pregnacare alongside them, my midwife didn't mention anything but wondered if you were all still taking pregnacare? Xx

I am also taking both aspirin & pregnacare x

@Kirky658 where are you hyping your pregnancare and which one, as I think it's reasonably priced on Amazon I've added it to my subscription list so get a discount for it coming monthly too.

Just had my 16 week appointment today and she listened to the heartbeat and felt location of uterus in my stomach. I'm in NE England

@CherylLW I hope so! It was all I could stomach for a while and those candyfloss grapes are SO GOOD

@unicornpower I’ve had the odd grape here and there but I really really fancy frozen grapes today!

@Raem1 that’s excellent news! I wish everywhere was like that! I’ve got mine Thursday so will soon see 🤞🏼

@CherylLW I ate frozen grapes last night for first time as tying to have healthy snacks and they were lovely! They were the candy floss ones though. Have you tried them rolled in jelly powder and frozen, I've heard they are supposed to be delicious

@Bubbles1st I’m just craving all things cold! I’ve had them in the jelly powder before and frozen and then are really nice! Good amount of sour on them!

I just wish google didn’t confuse things by saying so many different things!

@AdventuresAwait @CherylLW it was so great to hear! Got my fingers crossed they do it for you all too. She looked over my notes, checked a urine sample, booked me in for my 24 week appointment with her and generally just asked if I was feeling okay and if I had any questions. I also had blood taken to check the baby's blood type because I'm rhesus negative (they only test this at one of our local hospitals so maybe don't do it everywhere)

That all sounds really helpful and positive @Raem1! I just hope my appointment is like that. I’m seeing a different midwife to the one I’m going to see from then on so I’m hoping she is just as good 🤞🏼

@Raem1 so glad someone else got to hear too! I had mine today as well. I was lucky enough to hear it last week for another test so I feel very privileged. I didn't realise different trusts did different things.
The next appointment seems so far away now!

Hi all

Didn't get to hear the heartbeat but I saw it, baby is growing well, moving about and was face up.

And... we found out its a girl! Sorry to break the mostly boy streak! I'm now more scared 😂😂

They did a urine test, blood pressure and a vaginally examination. Everything OK!

Four weeks to the next scan.

@scotti84 yayy that's fab. 5 weeks tomorrow for me till my 20 week scan.

Just had the best craving yet, cornflakes with full fat milk! Omg it tasted immense 😅

I just had my blood screening results through the post - super quick! My scan and bloods were only on Thurs! My Downs Syndrome result isn't as low as I'd hoped, which is completely irrational because it's still very low 🙈 just not in comparison to the T18/T13! I know I'm not the only person to feel like that but I guess I can sympathise now!

A girl! Amazing @Scotti84 congratulations. Are they the first girl of the thread? 

I've had my first healthy craving so far - grapefruit! I've had one a day the last few days and omg so delicious. Like the sound of cornflakes and milk actually!

I know what you mean @SP2Bx mine was similar, downs was 1 in 570 but the others were in the tens of thousands. But like you say it's still such a small chance x

I was wondering about movements as after a few days of feeling the first flutters, I’ve felt nothing since so did some Googling and found a handy midwife written article - I’ll try link it below.

Congrats on your baby girl! 😍 @Squibble84 I ended up paying for a scan at the weekend Cus I had the exact same thing! But baby was fine it was facing towards my back so that’s why I haven’t been feeling them move much, they’ve been that way on all my scans so far so I should have thought about it really. It’s so hard not to worry tho isn’t it

@Maybebaby29 good to hear everything was ok! I’d so love to have a private scan before our 20 week scan but the nearest one is an hour away! It’s gonna be a long wait though! 😫
