Hope you don't mind me crashing the thread and joining you guys 😁

I was due 30th of Jan but baby obviously decided that February was a better month for a birthday lol. Now I'm overdue and currently, impatiently, awaiting the arrival of baby number 6 (little girl) , my first with my new partner after 10 long years 😊

I'm no stranger to overdue pregnancies and
due in for my first (and hopefully only) sweep at 3 o'clock. Really hoping it's successful as my fourth baby was a 10 pounder and I'd much rather not do that again! 😂

Jumping over here from the January thread as everyone there has had their babies and I'm the only one left! 😩😢

@babydust2412, not sure I can make you feel better, but Im also in limbo land...those contractions I mentioned I think were a trick so still waiting. On reading I think its predomal labour and could go on for ages...i.e. I have to contractions at night, then they pretty much stop in the day bar the very odd sporadic thing!

@IronMummy28 Congratulations she's very cute !

@nursey1993 My movements have changed though not any less, just instead of kicks its like she is pushing against my stomach stretching outwards sort of feels tight like braxton hicks in sensation. I can also feel her hands lower down very mild like pressing against me feelings, still get a fair few kicks throughout the day too I would say more stretching feeling now than kicks though.

@Piccalily19 oh my days i am too getting them 😲 my baby has'nt dropped yet, but that knife jab feelings have been happening on/off also feels abit swollen down there, i read it can happen with all that extra blood flow 🙄 but not read why the sharp jabs happen.

Oh i know what you mean @jbx10, i had this delightful experience at the weekend when we took the dogs out in my partners van (obviously less comfortable than the car) and she clearly didnt like it as i felt a foot just rub the whole way down my bump as if to say get me outta here 😅😅 Maybe a few more runs in the van over a few speed bumps will get her evicted haha!!

@Safxxx god im glad to read someone else mentioning feeling swollen down there lol, thanks to lockdown i was trying to do a diy on my bikini line last night and thought it felt a bit bigger 😳🤣

39 + 5 weeks today. I've had what I think is some of the mucus plug come away, a bit of lightning crotch and aching throughout my hips and pelvis. Baby has been head down since mid December. Hoping it won't be too long, although ftm so I am certain baby will be late! Getting out walking each day, so hopefully that will move things along. I'm quite petite and just feel huge now

23 days to go for me now. I really need to up the walking. Having some crotch pain and back pain.

Hi guys! does anyone else feel like this pregnancy just won’t end ugh haha! Been waiting on her for forever!!! No signs of labor yet. Dh and I tried doing the deed to see if we can get her to come out but no luck this far! Also been trying to stay active and hopeful. I’m less than a week out of my due date and they are talking induction by 41 weeks if no action by then which I’m kinda intimidated by!! Sending positive vibes to all you other mamas! Congrats on those that have already come! Still chugging along here 😂😂

Oh and we see the mw tomorrow afternoon! May talk about doing a sweep while I’m there and they will schedule my last ultrasound!!! Getting close yet seems so far away! Super excited anyways!!

Lol just as Feb arrived we've all gone so impatient, i am too, but will go with the flow all in good time ladies. We will get there when the time is right 🤞

I will try walking every day, done it for last 2 days will keep it up. As being stuck indoors is not helping at all 😩

I'm trying to keep positive vibes, I am slightly uncomfortable but nothing too bad at the mo. Although I'm happy she's not made an appearance today - so much snow where we are at the moment. Hopefully the weather will brighten up over next few weeks here!

@Safxxx I have missed going for a walk today but didn't want to risk it with all the snow and ice here.l but definitely feel better for it once you've been out for fresh air

This baby of mine instead of going lower hes going higher 🤣
He's literaly all across under my ribs and the stretch hurts and heart burn has increased so has the breathlessness 😩

@Safxxx whats he playing at eh? Hehe.

I feel much better now, had a 2 hour nap and also checked by BP at pharmacy to put my mind at ease (mine can go seriously low). Think I've just got a bit of what the kids have.

@jbx10 we were forecasted snow luckily missed it, couldn't go earlier for a walk was hoping to take a evening walk, but now its started to rain, will wait and see. Hope weather clears for your end.
Hope your ok what makes you so uncomfortable?

@Safxxx oh god the breathlessness & stretching across... I feel your pain! I am getting shooting pains in my hips getting more & more as the days go on! I've just been for a really short walk (to the shop for chocolate 😂) but it was nice just to get 15mins.

@jbx10 try baths and hot water bottles hope it eases off. Wish i could make a excuse for chocolate and get out for abit, but we done the shopping yesterday and stocked up on snacks 🤣🤣
Just made yummy jacket patatos but hard to enjoy them while little one is jammed under my ribs and suffocated me, i've literaly got cushions behind my back and sides so i can eat in bit of comfort while sitting propped up 😣

We too have gotten a snow storm it has lasted about 3 days.. hard to get out on walks with that so iv been trying to stay active indoors while being exhausted and uncomfortable at the same time haha
