I'm about ready to just sit and cry.
Pgp is well and truly doing me in.
I am in pain 90% of the time. The other 10% I am in the bath or asleep (finally)

@Waitingforbabypage have you seen the docs about this already? :(

I told the gp and the midwife before 20 weeks. It's caused so much pain and pulling that it caused horrible cramps in my bump so I told those at hospital too. I've had a physio referral, my appointment was on the phone- so basically it was useless. I told her I have 5 pillows on my bed that I pack around me to try and support and ease everything and she suggested simply getting more pillows.
It took me 15 mins to hobble/waddle down the road to do the school run- it's normally a 4 min walk.
I can't stand long enough to cook a meal or do the washing up etc. My other half is so good at helping out, he does way more than his fair share without me having to ask.
But the overall answer is "you're 32 weeks along now, not much further to go, you'll be fine" but this really is no quality of sodding life at the moment.
I'm tired, I'm sore, I'm miserable because of it and have constant restless legs (but can't move them enough to relieve it because...y'know, pain. Ffs.)

@Waitingforbabypage it sounds like you are having a really tough time of it! I'm so sorry!
I have it too but not as bad. Night times are the worst but I know once I get up in the morning it will start to ease for a bit.
I had a phone physio appointment too which did nothing. Mine did say I could book another appointment if I needed it so might be worth trying again as you might get more that just a phone call now? She also said that acupuncture could help but I would need to see a pregnancy specialist so that might be an option. Or some people I now have paid to see a chiropractor to help with the pain.
When mine gets bad I start looking through all the baby clothes etc that I have bought for him. It helps me to re-focus on why I am in pain. It's all for him and although it makes me miserable (and very tearful!), I would take any amount of pain for any of my children.
Just hang in there. Sounds like you are doing an amazing job. And remember to be kind to yourself and treat yourself when ever you can! Sometimes the small things like some fancy bath products or a new book can make you feel a lot better. Smile

My mum is a nurse acupuncturist, so she’s been poking needles in, and I’ve been seeing my Osteo too. It was bad week 24-27 (now 31wks) and after those two things, I’m nearly pain free so defo worth checking it out! x

@Waitingforbabypage sorry to read that you’re struggling so much. It’s worse when you’re left to just get on with it, isn’t it?
With your restless legs, it might be worth seeing what your bloods are doing because I had really bad restless legs in the evenings to the point that it kept me awake at night and my HB had dropped so they started me on ferrous fumerate. I’m now so much more comfortable and feel less like death too! Have you got any midwife appointments coming up?

Bloods are all fine, had some done a few weeks ago.
I'm all for trying to do other things to take my mind off it- like folding baby clothes, and don't get me wrong, I am absolutely over the moon at being pregnant, I know baby is worth it...but when the pain is affecting every single part of my life, it's all a bit much.

@Waitingforbabypage it sounds so frustrating for you, sorry to hear you’re struggling. Push the GP for pain killers if it’s impacting your quality of life this much.

There are pain killers they can prescribe safely in pregnancy and if your GP doesn’t know enough about they then need to refer you (and fast) to someone who does. Really hammer home to them how much it impacting your ability to do day to day tasks.

Women’s pain can so often be minimised but when you can’t cook for yourself and really struggle taking the kids the school they need to give you better pain management options than just putting up with it.

@PinkPlantCase they're just not interested at all.

I have a consultants appointment 14th may, so I'm going to see if they can offer any help. Having to put up with this for 4 or 5 weeks would be more bearable than another 8,9+ weeks.

Evening all hope your all well 💜

@AIRRRR thank you. I’m still being monitored. But mentally feeing a little more stable about it. Until
Today when they want to have a look at my liver because of some rib/side/back pain I’ve been having. I just worry so much! Hope you are doing well xx

@Fightingtobepositive Good they’re still monitoring you, it won’t be long until they can do any of the investigations they can’t do whilst pregnant! Hopefully it’s just pregnancy related and your body in over drive! Sending positive vibes your way ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

How's everyone doing? I was 34 weeks yesterday, can't believe how quickly the time is going. The baby turned head down a couple of days ago so I'm starting to feel a bit more uncomfortable but otherwise ok x
