I found you all. I have my 20week scan on Friday and I think I have felt movement for the first time today so feeling more excited than anxious for the first time in a while.

@TerryRose. My mole on my face has changed looks less moley now. Well it’s lighter. I also have one on my back which my DH has unspecifically said looks different. I’m not concerned as I have been told they will change during pregnancy but I am keeping an eye on things and when I make my 25 week midwife appt I’ll ask of the chances of getting a GP app.

TerryRose · 20/01/2021 16:53

@Scarftown thank you so much, I am thinking it's pregnancy as well as I've never had any issues before and it is known to happen so I'll say it at my next hospital appointment in two weeks, thank you ❤️❤️

theworks · 20/01/2021 16:59

Hi - joining! Due end of June with no 2 Smile

PinkPlantCase · 20/01/2021 17:09

Had my 20 week scan and baby started hiding once they started poking around so I have to go back in a few weeks too.

So nice to see baby again though, they look so different from the 12 weeks scan!

Didn’t find out the sex, keeping to a surprise

hayjt24 · 20/01/2021 17:12

Hi all, hope its ok to join this thread 😊 due 30th June with first baby!

Mackie2020 · 20/01/2021 17:15

@TerryRose I've had some mole changes too. I've got two on my back which have grown & become very itchy. I had a GP appointment and she thinks it's just hormone changes, but she wants to check it again in a couple of months then again after the birth.

AlRRRR · 20/01/2021 17:25

Hi all. Anyone got a tight chest? I know we talked about breathlessness the other day but today, it feels like I have a tight chest, like I’ve been wearing a really tight bra (i don’t wear bra’s as I hate that feeling).....hrm.... I’m 18 weeks on Thurs so feel too early be as a result of the baby

I also wondered why no one else was posting hahahah

TerryRose · 20/01/2021 17:52

@Mackie2020 thank you. I imagine I'll be told the same, I've taken a pic anyway and I'll keep an eye on it 😊 another thing about pregnancy I didn't know about 🤣🙈

Opticabbage · 20/01/2021 18:10

@BlondePotter You've just inadvertently answered one of our questions. We've been looking at second hand Uppababy Vistas as my partner is tall, and we weren't sure if it'd be any good walking on tracks. So thank you for sharing!

BlondePotter · 20/01/2021 18:14

@Opticabbage yeah she said it was as good as icandy for walking and had a lady last week say that she's used it everywhere in lockdown like across fields and stuff.
Bugaboo fox has the best suspension and push in her opinion. We like icandy All-terrain as it converts to a 3 wheeler for rougher ground but it's even more pricier than icandy

Happy2be · 20/01/2021 18:16

Checking in on the new thread! Hope everyones doing ok! We have our 20 week scan on friday with the consultant 😊

Bella678 · 20/01/2021 18:51

@hayjt24 im due on the 30th too 😀.

So glad this group is active. The other June one was dead 😫

swiftt · 20/01/2021 19:05

@Bella678 @hayjt24 @theworks welcome ladies!

Is anyone else suffering from sudden dizziness? I’m really struggling with it. Came in yesterday and even when I just move my head too quickly when I’m standing I end up feeling a bit woozy. My BP is fine and my iron levels were super high at booking apparently, so would be unlikely for them to have dropped so much that I’d be anaemic now. It’s just not a nice feeling at all!

@BlondePotter that Harry Potter theme sounds fab! Love Harry Potter myself

Aggy106 · 20/01/2021 19:17

Hey everyone, is anyone else having any sudden cravings? I was desperate for Nando’s sauces yesterday, luckily I managed to add a couple to our food order which came today so I’ve been really enjoying neat sauce! With my first it was McDonald’s curry sauce - something about condiments?!?!

@BlondePotter we had the icandy orange with our first so if you’re looking at that one I’d be happy to give you some of my thoughts on it. Also love your Harry Potter theme!

Aggy106 · 20/01/2021 19:19

@swiftt I’ve been starting to feel dizzy too, mainly head rushes every time I stand up, I’ve read dizziness is quite common in the second trimester unfortunately

Bella678 · 20/01/2021 19:21

@swiftt thank u.

I feel weak all the time. Iron results came in today and im fine. However my blood pressure was a little low at my 16 wk appt yesterday. It was 100/50 but i wasnt told to monitor it? My mum and dad have a BP machine at home so will check again in a few days.

SantoPalo · 20/01/2021 19:23

Just jumping back on
18 weeks today Smile

Fightingtobepositive · 20/01/2021 19:43

@swiftt I’ve read it’s common in the second trimester. I think I read it was from the extra blood pumping around your body.

Ok I need help... freaking out again. I had a McDonald’s milkshake today and now I’ve just realised it’s from a machine please tell me no has heard this is advised against?

BlondePotter · 20/01/2021 20:04

@Fightingtobepositive McDonald's really is the only place you can get it out of a machine because they have strict cleaning standards!
Definitely don't get anything like that from a small independent place, I still remember a Mr Whippy I got at Weston and I had food poisoning from that x

hayjt24 · 20/01/2021 21:01

@bella678 Aw lovely! 17 weeks today then too 😊 how have you been feeling?

@swiftt thank you! 😊

How is everyone else feeling? Is anybody struggling with trapped wind/belly ache? I've been struggling the past two evenings, not sure if it's normal!

Dragonfly92 · 20/01/2021 21:30

Thanks @swiftt for the new thread. Jumping back on here. 19 weeks tomorrow and got a growth scan. Can't wait to see them but I'm sure the anxiety will kick in tomorrow morning. Been having moments of lightheadedness. Was going to mention it to my midwife tomorrow and see what she says.

@BlondePotter love the Harry Potter theme. We're planning a safari/jungle theme to tie in with the giraffe obsession I have in the house!

@hayjt24 I've been having aches like my whole stomach is stretched and super bloated. Definitely feels more uncomfortable in the evening. I just assumed it was everything stretching.

Bella678 · 20/01/2021 22:14

@hayjt24 its been awful. Nausea from morning to night. Don't fancy eating anything but cereal. The wind is on another level but tends to be worse in the evenings and night. GP has just prescribed peppermint capsules to take 3 times a day, an hour before food but been reluctant to take them that often as the leaflet inside reads to avoid in pregnancy but GP has still said its fine to take. So have decided to have one per evening only 😬. Who knew you could write so much on "wind" alone 🤣. My stomach is in agony so told hubby he needs to sleep in the other room so I can fart freely 🤣

LBee2020 · 20/01/2021 22:22

Good evening ladies. I've been a wreck this afternoon. I usually sleep for 8 hours a night like a baby but since the second trimester I've been waking loads (also for the loo) and the tiredness plus general physical fatigue plus hormones has made me an irrational, sobby wreck. I've taken myself off to bed to give my poor OH some peace!

Waitingforbabypage · 20/01/2021 22:26

Wow 4th thread already?! Blimey!

So we've had a few who have had the 20 weeks scan and a few with theirs still to come- as if we're all halfway! Or nearly halfway! Great stuff!

Our scan is on Friday, I am excited as this is the first time OH can come with - which I think is really important to his bonding.

Is anyone else getting some kicks yet? We're getting to the point where hubs can feel the pokes! It's lovely! Xx
