Hey all,

I know this is bit of a long shot, but is anyone due in March 2021?

I appreciate everyone is from different places, but are there a few ladies that want to create a WhatsApp group or something so we can be “cyber mum friends”?

I know being a mum (or a first time mum in my case) can be very daunting and a scary time, and not only that, but it can be quite lonely.. so it’s be great if a few people would like to become “online friends” so we can just talk and have company/share experiences/worries/how bored they are

@Polkadot123 I think my trust is from active labour so 4cm, and can be with you for initial induction I think

@Polkadot123 I think it depends on which trust you're under. Mine says that he can be with me as soon as I feel I need support. I think the only time he can't be is when they first assess me on arrival and if I give birth in the middle of the night then he has to leave when I'm transferred to a ward, but is able to be with me during visiting hours. My trust did a fb live to answer a lot of peoples questions and put minds at rest, might be worth checking whether yours has :)

Thanks all! No sign of baby yet, had 2 pessaries and a sweep so far. Waiting on 3rd pessary soon. Hopefully will have some news at some point today!

@Sho2207 how are you getting on...due date in 3 days! Has baby made an early appearance? I thought I would go early but baby seems to be comfy! Hoping not to go over!x

So I wasn’t due till the 29th March... our little tinker arrived on the 26th feb! We were not prepared I hadn’t finished work or sorted my hospital bag! She’s doing well though after we had to stop in hospital for a bit. Finally gaining weight but still tiny, currently 4lbs8oz bless her!

@alc123 ohhh wow!!! Massive congratulations!! What an early suprise!!! Hope you’re all doing really well!
I’m booked in for a sweep on my due date next Wednesday. Getting so excited now. Having new carpets laid in the house Saturday morning though (talk about last minute 🙈) so happy for baby to stay comfy where they are for now. Just can’t wait to find out the gender. We still haven’t settled on any definite names just yet? Anyone else? I’m hoping it’ll come to me when I meet their little face 😅

We were in the hospital again last weekend as my little guy lost too much weight . We're on a feeding plan now, bf plus formula plus extracting, which is pretty brutal 😅 but at least he's getting better now. How are managing yourself?

@Mahdia thank you, and apologies for the delay. I'm slightly losing track of days... 😅. Any sign of the little one? How are you feeling?

We were settling into nice routine til Monday when I haemorrhaged in shower at home and ended up back in hospital, whipped to the theatre for more surgery!! Turns out I have womb infection, I'm still in hospital and away from my wee Cherub 😢But on the mend now....frightening times though! X

I was having braxton hicks in the night and woke up this morning and have lost my mucus plug so I'm hoping this is the start of something 😁😁 very excited!!
Going to stay active today and hope things start progressing. Exactly 39 weeks today so if he comes he should be fine ☺️

Aaand, to all the SPD /PGP fellow sufferers - mine was gone right after the delivery!!!!! It was hard to move after CS but still easier than with SPD!!! I can walk now and climb stairs to and sleep (when the little guy lets me), it's amazing. I hope it'll disappear for all of you just as quickly 🤞🤞🤞

Also, just like @mahdia said , lansinoh is great for bf. If you don't have it yet, buy it before your delivery, it's a life (nipple) saver!

@HungryHippo20 awww that sounds awful I hope you are ok and on the mend and soon back with baby.

Who else feels sad when their due date just comes ànd goes kkk 😆 I've never had a baby that was bang on time and used to dream about it happening. Oh well I still have until midnight 🙃 😅!!!!!

Lol @Mahdia still have til midnight! Now that would be a super quick labour 😂

Nothing more has happened since I lost my plug this morning 🙄 I was really hoping it was a sign of the start of labour today. But I've been absolutely fine all day!

Ah well. Going to bounce on my ball, eat some more pineapple and dates then do some more hand expressing and talk to bump tell him he's being evicted if he doesn't show up soon. Mommy sick of waiting and feels like she's carrying a bowling ball around now!

Congrats to those that had their babies. After being induced on Monday evening our little girl made her entrance at 9pm on the dot last night, 38 weeks exactly and weighing 6lb 6oz. So in love already!

Starting to get super impatient now! Not due until Sunday but can’t walk as he’s so low down, had a whole day of period pain/braxton hicks and back pain yesterday and nothing! Got a terrible stomach today. Wish he’d hurry up! Xx

@MrsW150917 @MForMed I'm getting home today! Haven't seen baby since Monday and it's been awful! But daddy has done amazingly on his own, I'm so proud of him. I'm now a nervous wreck in case there are any more complications 😳😫

Since losing my mucus plug yesterday morning.. absolutely nothing has happened still 🙄 naughty boy teasing mommy making me think he was coming yesterday lol oh well, I am enjoying the rest whilst I can. Feeling so tired, keep nodding off!
I have my fingers and toes crossed to be a mommy for Mother's Day 🤞 would be lovely ☺️

@MrsW150917 any more movements?? I’ve had a sweep today and had an hour of tightening which seems to have tailed off. Hopefully things will start shortly! I’m 1cm dilated with a bishops score of 5 so may not do anything to help

@dinosaur17 MW checked me on Monday and she said I was 1cm dilated aswell but said my cervix was still tight and firm so not to expect anything to happen straight away. Then on Wednesday morning I lost the plug!! But nothing has happened since 🤔
Last night before I got in bed I was having lightning crotch so felt hopeful there might be progression during the night but NOPE! Nothing. Lol
However today I feel like I have loads of energy strangely to say I barely slept.
I really would love to be a mom on Mother's Day so still hoping he will make an early appearance just by a few days 🤞

Due date tomorrow and I’m analysing every random pain! Woke up with bad trapped wind (lovely) don’t think my sweep seems to have kick started anything! Would love for him to arrive by the end of the week!

Went for a walk last night, had a curry and did some expressing but seems to have made baby very active and not much else!
