Hey all,

I know this is bit of a long shot, but is anyone due in March 2021?

I appreciate everyone is from different places, but are there a few ladies that want to create a WhatsApp group or something so we can be “cyber mum friends”?

I know being a mum (or a first time mum in my case) can be very daunting and a scary time, and not only that, but it can be quite lonely.. so it’s be great if a few people would like to become “online friends” so we can just talk and have company/share experiences/worries/how bored they are

@Mahdia Not until the 14th. Mw has said they might induce if my SPD symptoms etc don’t improve. Just hoping to get things moving but don’t really want to be induced if I can help it.

I’ve just had a quick look, not sure I could stay awake 90 minutes to do it 😂

Thanks all! So over the moon today! Baby Eilidh was born at 10.14am weighing in at 9lbs 10oz and two weeks early!!! Super in love right now even despite the lack of zzz 🥰🥰🥰

Aww 💕 how adorable is she!! She's a big girl! Well done 👏!!!! Its fortunate that scans estimate the weight of the baby and you can plan around it.

Hopefully we'll all be after one another not too long now... the hardest bit is waiting for birth!!!

Happy last day @MrsW150917!! I finished a couple of weeks ago as I’m a dance And drama teacher in a school... and it was getting hardddd work even just doing lessons from home 😂
Oooo did my first colostrum attempt today. Managed to fill a syringe- couldn’t believe it 😅 Currently laid on the sofa with a brew and watching sex and the city- the calm

4 days until due date and he’s clinging on in there. I’ve been having irregular contractions since Thursday but they just aren’t amounting to anything. How’s everyone else getting on?

@KB13 wow 4 days! That's great 👍. Hopefully he or she'll be here soon. Contractions are a good sign but it does get annoying when it comes ànd goes! Do you think its real Contractions or braxton hicks? My sister in law in America is due 8th March as well!!! After 3 boys she's having a girl!! So happy for her. And my mother in law had a dream two ppl in the family had 2 baby girls at the same time!!! So maybe my surprise baby is girl!!! I don't mind any as long as baby and mother is healthy!!!

I remembered my car seat is in the attic and to bring it out now that February is leaving us.
Hope everyone is doing well. I'm gonna try the miles circut and something spicy for takeaway tonight!!!

I didn’t have braxton hicks with my previous 2 and have been having them with this one since about 30 weeks but I have read that they can be more painful with more children so who knows. My last daughter which was 6.5 years ago I had zero signs with I just woke up with intense contraction at 2am and had her 6 hours later. I would really love him to come this week so that my daughters have some time to adjust to a newborn in the house before returning to school next Monday but I have a feeling he will be late 😫 my focus now is just chilling with my daughters this week 😊

My sister in law is due the day before me with a surprise as well 😊

@KB13 Hope baby arrives for you soon. I’ve still got 2 weeks left but hoping he arrives soon! Same as you I’ve been having what I can only assume is a contraction every hour or 2 for the last few days. Definitely feel different to BH!

Dc1 I woke up with contractions that tailed off then picked up again the next day, DC2 I had a sweep at 16:30, first contraction an hour later, she was born about 3 hours after that. I’ve asked my MW if she can discuss an early sweep on Monday with the consultants.

@dinosaur17 I’ve got the midwife on Tuesday and will be requesting that she does a sweep. My SPD is horrendous now and I don’t want to be waiting until the following Tuesday before they book me in for my first one.

@KB13 you’ll be nearly 40 weeks then won’t you, I’m sure they’ll do it.

@dinosaur17 I’ll be 39+5 but when I asked last week they said that they don’t do sweeps before 40 weeks on women who have more than 1 baby. But that seems ridiculous when I’ll only be 2 days before my due date 🙄

How's everyone doing! Finally managed to get sleep next to me all washed and ready and got the carseat it all seems more real now. But I've noticed the day I do chores, I get loots of braxton hicks 😩 which is great in a way as your body prepares itself for the real thing. But its no Jokes!!! I'm getting worried about the labour now more than ever! I think I should stop watching One Born every minute 🤔.
Kkk but I can't help but get excited when I see baby clothes or baby bottle (the tiny ones especially 😆)
I have my midwife appointment tomorrow and hopefully everything will be fine 🙂 I hope it will be my last appointment before bubba comes.
Take care ladies and don't forget to rest as much as you can as we have long nights ahead of us! Lol 😆

Yes I also told the midwife "in the nicest way possible I hope I don't see you again" lol she booked me in next week for my 39 week appt.
I have another growth scan tonight to see how much his little ass weighs now. He was looking like 5lbs 6oz 3 weeks ago so I'm thinking around 7lbs. I'm just scared of him being too big!! It's my first and I'm only small so a little anxious now it's nearing the end.

I have been nesting all over the weekend but still hasn't brought any contractions on, not even had any braxtons! 😕 just back ache lol

Been hand expressing, bouncing on my birth ball and eating hot curries lol but nothing!
I just can't wait to have him here now 😬😬

Afternoon ladies! Hope you’re all feeling well, woke up with intense period/back pain and thought! Ahh great! This is it! Now been having irregular BH type pains since 6am but nothing seems to have increased or got more painful.
Hope he hurries up! Booked in for a sweep next Monday!

I went in for induction this morning. Had pessary but nothing happening yet. Dh isn't here as they only had space on ward not a single room, but said he can be there when/if I go up to delivery

@MeelaNotMyla oh Really? Did they induce you because you're overdue or something? I got induced with my last child as I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia. Its sometimes very quick with pessary and it's best of you walk around the hospital or on the birth ball (even stairs help my sister made me walk up and down the stairs for like 30 min- wasn't happy then coz of the pain but I'm really grateful now!lol 😆)

I hope the induction goes well and quick for you so you can have your bubsie in your arms!!! Good luck Mum!!! You got This!!! 💪

I have been on blood thinning injections so they wanted to make sure I'd been off them for a bit before I give birth, I'm 39 weeks today. Have had 2 babies before so hopefully my body knows what to do.

No contractions yet at all but such bad sciatica or nerve pain down my right bum cheek and leg, I'ts driving me mad! Bouncing on birthing ball as we speak haha. I thought they'd examine me but the midwife just said that it should start to do it's job soon 🤷‍♀️

Having mild cramps but nothing much. So so bloody bored! I've watched nearly the whole season of firefly Lane today on my ball haha
